these are very good quality well priced, banjo machine heads [...]They tighten up a treat and only need a bit of installation. oh and did I say they were shiny and clean. well they were, and it was super fast postage and excellent and strong, fit in a post box hole, packing.Strum de dum strum strum strum... de dum strum.... de dum.

holds the strings tight
I am rebuilding an old tenor banjo,it originally had friction peg adjusters and these had started to slip when I restrung the unit. I purchased these gear type and they have done the job exactly. I had to increase the hole size in the stock to accomodate these fittings, but easy to fit, would reccommend.
