Although there have to be slightly lower levels of performance from a product costing around £80 rather than £220 this is a nicely turned out item. It has a quality feel and looks to match! Having had to return a similar item from a rival manufacturer as unfit for purpose I was perhaps a bit more critical of this one but I'm glad to say my fears were unfounded. The Reflection Filter X is ideal for the project studio and in conjunction with other acoustic treatment in the recording room will certainly help reduce any unwanted sound from behind the microphone

This is an amazing bit of kit for the price. Im just getting into recordings and noted there was a bit of echo to the things i had recorded. This works so well to clear those echoes out and give a nice flattened uncoloured response. I would suggest make sure you have a sturdy enough stand. I've got an old £20 mic stand that seems to be falling over under it's weight. It's holding up well but I think it's beginning to lean. It should fit most mic stands comfortably. It's quite a fiddle to get setup with washes and bits of plastic that fly off. So I like to leave mine set up.

This item was fine and met expectations. However, the delivery via FedEx was totally unsatisfactory. On first notification put through my door, I called to arrange a delivery time when I would be home. The following day (not the day arranged), I found another delivery note through the door, and called again to confirm the arranged time. When the day came, the delivery did not come. It arrived two days later when I was out, but fortunately neighbours took it in. This waste of time and phone calls to Fedex cost me, and I am not happy.

Perfect. Works great. Already used for a commercial project and the recording was superb.

Is not a miracle worker but takes the worst off of my bad room. Seems to give a warmer tone to close mic work as well. Very happy with it. Well made and sturdy. Is on the large side so if space is a premium this may get in the way but i suspect it wouldn't be as good if it was foldable.

Grew at only had a few days but great so far. Arrived on time

Have done some great vocal recording with this product...some of which are now being played on national and international radio so you can get top results with this piece of magic!

Cubre mis necesidades. Es fácil de montar. Su peso no es excesivo y conserva el equilibrio en la jirafa. Las grabaciones salen más limpias y no hace falta proyectar mucho la voz. Muy recomendable.

Bought to reduce reflections in my recordings, as the room I'm in is perfectly square and has many. This shield makes the recordings sound like they were done in an iso booth love it! Easy to install as well and came with adapter for mic stand. Adapter was already installed and made me think the shield was incompatible, but after removing it it fit perfectly on my mic stand. No complaints!

Excellent product & build quality.... quite light in weight... hardware comes along with the product which is also of an excellent quality. Much have for ur home studio & for vocal recording Excellent job sE Electronics 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
