I needed a small inexpensive rod and this looked promising at only $7. I was figured I could always send it back if it was awful. The good news is that it looks like a more expensive rod. The ends are attractive and the finish is a brushed nickel look. It is thin at only 5/8 inch but it is perfect for what I needed. It has three pieces, two end pieces and if you need it to be larger you can add the third piece in the middle. The rod is not adjustable beyond using two pieces or three-no sliding for a more precise fit. I ended up ordering a second one to use on another window. I hope they hold up well but if I have to replace them sooner it won't be a big loss.

Nice, however description should state 30” or 45” with use of a middle extender. This is not adjustable. Use of a dash between measurements is very misleading. There is no range of measurement possibilities.

First the good: This rod is well made. It's durable, strong and sturdy. And now the bad: The description for this product specifically states "The length can be adjustable 30 to 45 inches to fit your window." This is somewhat deceptive. Yes, it is adjustable. Yes, it will expand between 30 and 45 inches. However the entire length of this rod comes in sections. To make the rod shorter, you remove out a section. If you need the rod longer, you add a section. But if the length you actually need is between section lengths, this rod won't work for your window. In my case, one less rod section made the rod too short but the additional section made the rod too long. The only solution was to hacksaw a section of the rod in half, and I'm not going to do that because I'm not confident that the sections would connect securely together if one end is sawed off. I did not wind up using this product. I had to purchase an actual "adjustable" rod for my purpose. And as I seem to have an ever-growing collection of various curtain rods, I will just add this rod to it instead of returning it because I'll eventually find some other use for it, but it's not going on any of my windows.

Sizing is off so I bought the next size up. Lightweight but perfect for kitchen. Does its job.

These are NOT adjustable. You have the option of 2 sizes only, it is not adjustable between those 2 sizes. What a waste of time ordering these and now having to return them.

Nothing bad to say about the rod itself but I found it difficult to install the hanging brackets because of where the screw placement is. It was hard getting any sized screwdriver in behind the rounded part of the bracket, so you have to tighten the screw as much as possible before hanging the bracket on it, and then attempt to tighten the screw fully behind the rounded part. Once up, it's perfectly fine.

This rod is NOT adjustable. It comes in pieces so your measurements would need to fit the rod sizes, it cannot be adjusted to the length needed.
