Works as intended and good quality
This for a Utah trip and it works as intended. I love how lightweight it is yet it is sharp on the sides with a nice grip for your hands. Stores easily in my backpack

Trowel for backpacking.
Perfect for the purpose intended. It is lightweight and perfect for the purpose intended. For being lightweight, it does seem to be a sturdy little trowel.

Light and strong
There you are, camping in the woods, when you need to drop a duke. It's not nice to talk about, but we all need to do it. You could be a jerk and just leave your waste there, perhaps justifying it as organic material that will eventually go away, but anyone who cares about the outdoors for everyone else knows that's self-deception. Enter the ultralight trowel. It's feather light and quite strong. Just dig yourself a little hole, making sure you are far from any usable water source, open the bombay doors, then cover it up. Responsibility to nature has never been easier.

Will update when used!
4 stars for now just because I have yet to use it while on a backpacking trip (shy deucer) but! So far the things I so like about it are how light and compact it is, and how easy it is to see in the dark. One side is a serrated design for cutting roots but I wish both were. I may wrap some electrical tape around the handle to prevent the edges from digging into my palm while digging.

Great for backpacking.
Super lightweight. Sturdy for digging. Not made of plastic so we use it to help flip and bury the campfire coals before retiring for the night. My friend used his plastic version, and it melted.

This has been great in the back country when I'm in a pinch... Digs holes very nicely and is EXTREMELLY light and durable. I've attached it to a carabiner and it stays on my pack. Great little poop hole shovel.
