Will the 12 month size fit baby that weighs 29lbs?

I bought this for my baby who is just turned 1. he is 23lbs and it was a little big for him. but it looked great. I think it could fit a 29lbs baby.

My son is just over 15lbs, and just over 24 inches tall. Normal 6 month onesies fit him will this 6 month onesie fit him?
