His findings were validated by tests and by the thousands of people from all over the world who have used The Healing Code's system to heal virtually any physical, emotional, or relational issue. His testing also revealed that there is a "Universal Healing Code" that will heal most issues for most people. In this book you will get that Universal Healing Code, which takes only minutes to do. Review: The Most Important Book I've Ever Worked On - As an author of 11 published books myself, and an editor and publishing coach who has worked with dozens of other authors, this is the most important book I've ever worked on (besides the Bible)--even above my own books. When Dr. Alex Loyd asked me to help him with his book, I set aside everything to do so because I wanted this information to get into the world. I had my own dramatic healing with The Healing Codes--it closed up a PFO (hole in my heart), which can be verified by medical records. (The story is in the book.) I had so many amazing results from the Healing Codes that I was eager to get this information out into the world. Also, I had been frustrated that prior to the book, there was no inexpensive way to learn and use the Codes. I believe the Healing Codes are one of the most remarkable discoveries of the prior decade. The more I have learned about science (especially the DNA of the cell, as outlined in both Dr. Stephen Meyer's Signature in the Cell: DNA and the Evidence for Intelligent Design and Dr. Bruce Lipton's The Biology of Belief ), the more I believe that everything in creation is coded. The Healing Codes unlock the issues of the heart. Dr. Loyd's theory of how the "heart" works--how our memories and beliefs get "encoded" into us physically, emotionally, and spiritually--fascinates me. It rings true to my experience and also to my personal worldview, which is based on the Bible. It's also consistent with what I've learned from how we develop emotionally, as Pam Levin outlines in her Emotional Development 101 course and her book, The Cycle of Life. There is "extragenetic coding" that gets programmed in from our experiences, memories, and beliefs. As Dr. Loyd points out, the best minds predicted that future medicine would be based on an understanding of energy--70 years ago! Until recently, however, we did not have the science or metaphors to understand how. Now we do. And these authors make it very understandable. With this book, you have a starting point for deep healing. Use the Healing Code outlined --all the instructions are there. I like the fact that the authors offer more material for those who register their book. The Heart Issues Finder is a wonderful resource I go back to again and again. The Truth Focus Statements you use with the Code and the Personal Tracking Sheet only have meaning to those who understand the Healing Code. They are "extras" that are printables, so it makes sense to offer them in this way. Another plus for me personally was getting to know Dr. Alex Loyd--one of the most humble, loving men I've ever met. This book was born from his faith and his love for his wife; he discovered The Healing Codes after a 12-year search for a cure for his wife's depression. It's been a thrill to see the fruit that's come from it--all the people I've seen healed as a Healing Codes coach. The results, for instance, with my 78-year-old mother have been miraculous--so much healing physically, emotionally, spiritually. I whole-heartedly recommend this book. If you let it, it will lead to real healing of the true source of all your issues--what's in your heart. Review: This works. It will change your life - I bought the healing codes book about a year and a half ago, and later bought the healing codes manual. I do the codes every day. I would never want to live without them--not that it is addictive or some kind of cult thing. It works simply by helping you to love yourself, to love life, to love others, and when you feel love in your heart, your life will change immensely. It is an energy healing process through a short meditation. The manual is expensive, but WORTH the price. The universal code in this book is a great code and works wonderfully. If you are wondering what a "code" is as I did when I was looking into this, it is simply a set of instructions for performing the energy healing. There is a certain order that you place your hands around your head depending on what issue you are dealing with. I know it all sounds strange when it is new, but once you try it very soon it will make sense. The book explains how and why it works very well. I started doing the universal code right away, and read through the book later. You don't need to understand the why and how for it to work, but it certainly does give you an explanation. I urge everyone to try it. It is so amazing. It is not only for people who have problems, it is for everyone. Initially I bought it for my daughter who was suffering from depression, but understanding how it works, I used it for myself, and it changed my life in ways I never even expected. In a nutshell, the idea is that when we experience perceived threats, our body goes into a stress response to deal with it (fight or flight response which is created through a release of hormones in the body). Most of the time in our lives, we don't really need to utilize these effects these hormones offer. Rarely do we really need to fight or quickly run away. Instead we get nervous or anxious and these hormones then just add stress to our bodies, which causes cellular damage. Not only this, our cells remember what triggered this stress, and any time that our bodies believe we are experiencing the same situation, it prepares us by causing the stress hormones to be released. Much of these cellular memories are created from infancy through early childhood, when the child doesn't really understand what is happening, but gets scared even when there is not a genuine threat. One example is a child sitting in the child seat of a shopping cart... the mother walks away for a minute to pick something up, keeping an eye on the child. The child is distracted and doesn't see the mother walk away, and suddenly sees that it is all alone. Then the child panics believing it has been abandoned. The mother reappears after 1 minute, but the damage has been done. This is a true story of what happened to a woman once. She had problems in her adult life stemming from this event from which she had not even remembered. Also, because this is stored on a cellular level, we actually inherit the stress from our ancestors!!! (this is how and why instinct works in animals) OK. that was my attempt to explain it quickly. I am telling you this is the most amazing thing. You just need an open mind. In the healing code manual on the healing code website, you will get a list of "truth focus statements" don't be put off by the religious nature of some of these. You do not need to have any religious convictions for this to work. When I started it, I simply ignored those statements and chose statements that were in line with my beliefs. This works for everyone. I do the codes for my whole family, believers non-believers and it works simply like a miracle. It works. Please try it. You will improve how you feel about life (even if you think you are just fine--as I did--you can't even imagine how much you can change for the better) and when you are a healthy, vibrant person who is full of love in their heart, you make the whole world a better place. Do it for yourself, do it for your family, do it for the world.

Astoundingly successful!
I have been involved in many healing things over the years and if they sound interesting or people are getting results - I try them. I have had great movement with NLP, Debbie Fords Dark Side of the Light Chasers, Emotional medicine, Natural Medicine, HeartMath work etc. So, this sounded interesting. Well... other than feeling a bit silly doing the movements for the healing codes - I have to say the results so far are astonishing! I have had a bad thyroid condition for most of my life. And as my stress goes higher, the worse it gets. I have been up and down on my thyroid extract medication but it's been a very very slow increase or decrease in the amount I take. I.e. I might drop it 15mg and I'll be on the new amount for say a few weeks - finally dropping another 15mg or damn - going up again. My highest I have been on was 420 when I lived in FL - then I came to HI and got it down to 75mgs over a year. 2 and 1/2 weeks ago - I was on 390mgs. Now, I am on 135mgs and going down constantly. With thyroid - if you are taking too much, you will feel it quite quickly - usually you feel antsy, your throat feels 'palpy/fluttery/tight,' you feel overly hungry and your sleep is affected. You pick it up in the same day you take your medication. It's quite obvious. Since doing the codes, I have dropped my meds by 15mgs to 30mgs a day - depending on what I have been feeling. It's pretty WOW. And very interesting. Also, it's very nice to have a clear marker for what is going on. Other than than feeling a bit funky because now my meds are TOO high most days - getting them down... I really do feel okay. Normally even a small drop of 15 or 30mgs would make me feel pretty unwell. I have also done EFT and it's not even really like EFT. I didn't have much joy with EFT but I know it works well for some people. I also have done a lot of NLP, which is great but this is faster. Much faster. It's easy to do, it's clear. I do it twice a day. Reading the codes through twice for each healing point and run that circuit 3 times - that gives you about 6 to 7 mins. I have 3 different things I'm working on with it. I do these in one batch. I then do one other batch at night but I do them in 3 separate lots because I am tired and it seems to be working the same. Also, I am not a religous person but am spiritual. Initially I tried inserting the Univese for God... but it was a bit bulky - so stopped worrying about semantics for the same energy and just inserted God - even though I don't carry that belief system. It still works just as well. I also say pray, because you are still really just asking for something - so again I decided it was semantics and it flows better as it's written. In terms of HeartMath work, NLP and any of the emotional medicine fields - it makes perfect sense. You are basically resetting old programs in the body. Just much much faster than other work I've done. Also, like other people, there have been things I haven't been able to shift over the years and now... voila - results. I run the thyroid one all the time at the moment until I'm off medication and stable with it. I also run for Adrenals as they go hand in hand. And I am running a money one too. I have also run Depression and um... other things - again, because it's changed, I can't remember what they were. I would HIGHLY recommend this book. Whether you read the back up data for it or just skip ahead and do the codes - it's getting some amazing results for me. I am quite blown away by this. Fantastic work! Thanks guys. :-)

A detailed and informative book for anyone seeking a unique approach to health and healing.
Lately I have developed an enthusiastic interest in various forms of what is known as energy healing. I have read numerous books on Reiki as well as completed the requirements to become a Reiki master (finished Level 1, 2, and 3-Reiki master level). When I saw this 300 page soft cover book (The Healing Code: 6 minutes to heal the source of your health, success, or relationship issue by Alexander Loyd, PhD. and Ben Johnson, MD) on Amazon for a bargain price I purchased it. According to this text a healing system was discovered by Dr. Alexander Loyd that can cure 95 percent of all illness and disease. Even though the actual procedure is simple to learn; nevertheless, I admit to being somewhat disappointed in some of the religious aspects of this system. This book is organized into two parts covering an enormous amount of material. The first part covers “the seven secrets to life, health and prosperity.” Some of the topics include: there is one source of illness and disease, stress is caused by an energy problem in the body, the issues of the heart are the healing control mechanism and other chapters. Part two deals with solutions to healing virtually any health, relationship or success issue. This is where you finally learn what the healing code is and how it works. The 6-minute healing code procedure is explained and a 10 second solution to situational stress is covered. The system’s basic philosophy is also explained in this section. I enjoyed reading this book and I have also included their 4 basic healing methods along with my Reiki everyday practice. I cannot say at this time whether or not my medical issues have been resolved but using these exercises everyday but I am sure it cannot hurt me. As I mentioned before, the only thing I did not like about this book is their emphasis on religious aspects. If you are interested in this approach to energy healing you may want to check out this book. Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Martial Art and Warrior Haiku and Senryu)

Give it a try, no matter who you are.
I listened to a webinar about the healing codes and didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars right off the bat so I googled and found the book instead. Then I read several of the Amazon reviews in order to see what I was in for. I got a tight knot in my stomach when several reviews mentioned that it was a Christian book. I grew up Christian and recovered so I didn’t want to go backwards. The book arrived and I decided to give it a chance. I finished it in two evenings. It was compelling and the information was very well organized. Some of it was energy information I have read about before but it was much more clear to me. The healing codes set-up does remind me of EFT and Roger Callahan’s tapping system, which makes me wonder if the author didn’t know about those modalities before he had his “revelation.” He quotes Callahan profusely in his book. But I told myself so what? Doesn’t matter where the revelation came from, as long as it works. The Christian part was pretty laid back. But I couldn’t disagree more with the author, who said that he was raised to believe God was mean, vindictive and selfish but now knows that the God of the Bible is love. Hmmm. I suppose it depends on which parts of the Bible you focus on? I have read the Bible twice and memorized hundreds of verses. For me, in the Old Testament, the main character is totally mean and vindictive so much so that he destroys the whole world with a flood because only one family was “righteous.” There are numerous other stories like that but the worst is when the Israelites return from Bondage in Egypt and find lots of people living in their “promised” land. God tells Moses to raise an army and go kill all of them. Yes, the babies, elderly people, all of them…Sound familiar? I believe that’s the definition of Genocide. Finally the main character does something nice and because he loves the world, he gives his only son so we can be saved but that love is completely conditional. You can only be saved by accepting Jesus. (No man cometh to the father, but by me.) So even if you are Gandhi, who was offered the gift of eternal life through Jesus but refused, you go to hell. I read that in a book about Gandhi by the way. He didn’t accept Jesus and chose to stay Hindu. That is called free will but it doesn’t seem that way to me. If I put a gun to your head and say, “I am giving you free will, give me your money and live or don’t give it to me and I blow your brains out.” Is that really free will? Heaven or Hell? Free will? Who would choose eternal suffering in hell if it was really a matter of free will? Uh-oh, back to critiquing this book rather than the Bible. In spite of the mild Christian pushes here and there in the book, I loved it. Seriously. This coming from an Agnostic. I do believe there are borrowed elements from EFT and the Callahan method of tapping but, again, so what? I have been doing lots of energy work for ten years and this system feels like the icing on the cake. I have only worked with it a week so I will give an update after more time has passed but so far, when I do the healing codes, I really feel the energy MOVING in my body. The front of my forehead gets really warm and tingling too. I have felt that with EFT and other modalities but it is much more powerful with this system. I have experienced healing by using other systems and have seen a few miracles in Christian churches and also in other religions. The healing force, the life energy of the world is bigger than a name, a god, a book or a religion so don’t let the Christian part scare you away from the healing code. Open you mind and give it a try. You can change the prayer set up to work for you. I will let everyone know what happens in the next few months. FYI…You don’t need to buy more than the book in my opinion. It has everything you need for healing. You can buy hundreds of dollars more of materials from the author’s website but I think it is a gimmick. Plus the author tells you in the book that all you need is the basic Healing Code. I must say I am grateful to him for being the kind of Christian, who wanted this to be available to all people even non-Christians! Happy Healing to all of you, however you get it to happen.

Where do the healing codes really come from?
In 2001 Alex Loyd "discovered" the healing codes when "God downloaded into my mind and heart what we now call the Healing Codes". And there you have it, from the very beginning you have to take some things on this book on faith alone for I'm not aware of any scientific way and beyond any doubt to prove that the Healing Codes were downloaded into Alex's mind and heart by God himself. Now after reading the book and many of Alex's comments here in Amazon I've got the feeling he may truly believe this. Maybe will never know for sure. One of the problems I have with the book is when the author states that this is an "absolutely new discovery" and that it is "completely different". If it is energy healing to star with then it is not an absolutely new discovery at all. How can the author say that, it is infuriating. Short of stating that there are four healing centers which the codes activate there is no real explanation behind them. The effects may be quantifiable, and there may be results, but a comprehensive explanation of how it works is sorely lacking. He says is not about energy meridians or chakras but those are just words. Many people believe the chakras actually refer endocrine glands in the body so it's not far fetched to replace Alex's choice of words (i.e. healing centers for the words energy centers or chakras or whatever). His system is completely different yet people again and again bring up EFT. Why? Because they strike them as SIMILAR. Therefore this is not completely different. I know many users of EFT have said that the methods are not the same, and they are right they are NOT IDENTICAL, but you can not say that the Healing Codes are COMPLETELY different. They're both classified as energy systems, in both you use your hands and even place them in some cases in the same general area (near the temples or between the eyebrows). So please don't use the words "absolutely" and "completely" so liberally. Now Alex says that they are different because EFT takes care of emotional issues and the Healing Codes of spiritual issues (by the way whenever I paraphrase Alex or quote him is from his book or his comments here on Amazon, you can corroborate it all by yourself). But what are spiritual issues? In an Amazon comment Alex states "what I call spiritual issues - unforgiveness, self-worth, rejection, fear, anger, etc.". Aren't those emotions? So as far as the Healing Codes being COMPLETELY they're not. And it bears repeating I'm not saying they're IDENTICAL either, in many regards they take a different focus. But if two persons learned to play the piano using two different methodologies, they still learned how to read music, they still play using the hands, and using the same instrument and accomplished the same goal. This is what I feel the Healing Codes are, Alex's version of energy healing. If you read Gary Craig's EFT manual he acknowledges the pioneers of energy healing from thousands of years ago and his contemporary influences too. I think Alex should've done the same, but he just states that the healing codes "was given to me as a gift of God in 2001". Now it should be interesting to the readers to know that Alex and Ben were involved in energy healing methodologies BEFORE the healing codes and hopefully you will not be blind to the the fact that the healing codes and those other methodologies have a LOT of COMMON ground (same ingredients different recipe). That fact is even acknowledged by the authors themselves; Ben even states in the book that he was trained in Thought Field Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique or Quantum Technique to mention some. But they don't give any credit to that as a basis to the healing codes because the healing codes are an "ABSOLUTELY NEW DISCOVERY'' and a "gift of God". Now Alex recommends himself these therapies like EFT when someone mentions them, but he repeats again and again that the healing codes are something different. He may even believe it (I wouldn't for one). EFT is a healing energy technique by Gary Craig that is based on the work of Dr. Callahan and his energy tapping techniques, Craig states "My contribution, EFT, is an elegantly simple version of energy tapping procedures". I would've like Alex to state something similar much more than the story of being a God vessel to which God himself downloaded this COMPLETELY different tool for healing (and for all I know, I'll say it again, Alex may believe this himself). The reader should also be aware that Alex was a student of the Callahan methodology, TFT, in 1999. Alex even states in a comment here in Amazon that he was the cofounder of Quantum Techniques with Stephen Daniel who himself was a Callahan student in 1996 (you can check it out in the TFT website about Alex and Daniel receiving such training). For what I've read Quantum Techniques was founded in 1998 a project Alex abandoned after validating his own special brand called the healing codes. So to sum it all up i think the authors of The Healing Codes are not giving credit where credit is due. Now on to the possibility that Alex really believes the gift from God story. Could it be possible that after being absolutely focused on healing his wife during 12 years and studying many healing methodologies (Alex even tells about his wife having an impressive amount of books on healing and self help) all of this information somehow coalesced in Alex's subconscious into the form of The Healing Codes and was then interpreted as a downloaded gift from god. Lets not forget that Alex was ordained minister at a young age and was brought up in a strong Christian environment. What if he were brought up as a Buddhist instead, would he said Buddha delivered to him this healing gift? Maybe you've read about some technological or scientific advancements arrived at at dreams, and I'm not implying anything magical or mystical this could be explained via the subconscious. Maybe you've read that the structure of benzene was arrived at through a reverie or day dream or the design of the sewing machine's needle in a similar way. So I directly ask you Alex Loyd could you be wrong on the source of your healing codes? Could the subconscious coalescence of all the information you had produced the healing codes and not God? I will try not to go much deeper into the book The Healing Codes having a lot of christian biases. If your interested in this read Hei Long's excellent two star review and the comments about this. He wrote very articulately his position and arguments to which, in my opinion, Alex really didn't respond. But yes, talking a lot about God and the bible is religious for me. And it made me uncomfortable. The main argument of Hei is that there was no indication on the cover or back of the book to warn the reader the book would delve into religion. I have the kindle edition and in all honesty I didn't expect the book to be religious at all myself from looking at the cover or Amazon's description. Many people say the book is not religious at all, and Alex himself says that his beliefs are in the book as an FYI because people like to know where an author is coming from. Well he should've stated that on the cover so we could know before buying the book. Hei also confronts Alex about hiding behind his academic credentials and not being upfront about being an ordained minister. Alex responds that he states his academic credentials because the subject at hand calls for them. But then again Alex states that ALL the healing codes do is heal SPIRITUAL issues, and then all the book is peppered with mentions of God and God being the true source of healing. He even encourages to visualize Jesus in one exercise so you can feel love or peace. I don't think that would be relaxing to a non christian. Doing a search on the kindle edition, the search engine yielded the word God 60 times, the word bible 16 and the word Jesus (as in the Christ) 12 times. So Alex, don't say that you put information on the book about your beliefs for "our information only". The search engine yields 0 results for Buddha or Allah or other sacred texts for that matter. What bothers me the most is when Alex says that he believes the bible is a non-negotiable truth. If the healing codes are not about beliefs and work regardless, why make such statements then? On the comments to Hei Long's review someone questions Alex about the contradictions in the bible and if he ignores parts of the Old Testament or what. That person is homosexual and talks about all the damaged he's received from his family through religion and the bible. And he asks because Alex says that he loves him and doesn't judge him for his sexuality and that he doesn't believe anyone will go to hell for their sins. To which the commenter is puzzled because some of Alex's statements seem counter to the bible. And Alex doesn't really answer if he cherry picks from the bible or how he manages to accommodate all the contradictions. And in spite of all this we get the bible is a non-negotiable truth in The Healing Codes book. Can there be more than one truth? If I believe in another sacred text which doesn't agree with the bible does that imply Alex believes I'm wrong? Alex has mentioned he had some issues growing up in a repressive interpretation of christianity. He says he doesn't call himself a christian (but how is people to call you when you believe in Jesus and the bible) that he is spiritual and not religious and that it took him a long time to get over all of this. I think he never got over it, just reinterpreted his dogma to feel psychological relief to his convenience like many of us do. He states that what is really important is to be loving at all times, and I'm all in for that, but I could never myself reconcile that with the bible and christianity without being to liberal about my interpretation of the text or ignoring some elements of it. Alex says he is no theologian so I wonder how he manages the contradictions in his personal beliefs and the non-negotiable truth which according to him the bible is. Through prayer, really? All of this ultimate truth postures only cause division. And it did bother me. I must admit, to be fair, that my experience of the bible and christianity (being born in a christian family) always meant zealotry, imposition, division, judgement and a dogma based on fear hence my personal take on the issue.. Alex also states that the bible is a love letter but that creates cognitive dissonance in me. For what I've read God punishes and kills time and time again when he is disobeyed, he hardens rulers hearts, floods the earth, asks for cruel displays of faith (sacrifice your son for me), etc. If you say that is not so then you haven't read the bible. And hey, every one has the right to believe in this or whatever they want, and to have their personal interpretation about it, but please don't tell me the bible is a love letter and a non-negotiable truth in a book I didn't buy for religious reasons. What is really important about this issue is that people may be put off and discard The Healing Codes book solely on religious grounds. And that's precisely the case as you can read from the 71 years old reviewer in the one star reviews. And as I said in a comment there, if the codes work that's a shame. Now onto the healing code itself. I don't have any illnesses so I can not comment in there. I've used the codes for some days and do feel more relaxed. I think the book itself is good for self awareness and dealing with emotional or stressing issues that may be detrimental to your health. I really feel wee need a shift in our current medical paradigm and energy healing may be a step in the correct direction. For what I've seen the testimonials seem to be genuine and results are promising across different modalities of energy healing, but still more scientific validation is still to come and we may still be a long way from fully understanding the mechanisms behind healing. All the criticism and points I make in this review are my honest opinion and are intended to be constructive, but for all I know I may be wrong. Still I don't think The Healing Codes were downloaded from god and that credit should be given where credit is due. I really feel all the god explanations and bible mentioning are totally unnecessary and detrimental, for readers may feel alienated by this as I do. For these two reasons, that I feel the author is not giving credit where he should, and the inclusion of religion in the book as was my perception I give the book three stars. The Healing Codes may work, and thus encourage potential readers to investigate on their own, but in my opinion this is built upon other systems and not a revelation from god to Alex, and all the dogma behind it should be done with. I guess the christian flavored energy healing niche had to be filled up. If this Alex version of energy healing is giving results and helping many people and more so than other modalities as some say, then regardless where the author says he got the healing codes from, I must say to everyone that contributed to this directly or indirectly and to Alex himself, thank you!! Hopefully the so needed shift in our current healing paradigm in closer at hand, and the required science research to back it up too.

This might be it!
Brief history: My parents both had traumatic childhoods - my mother more so. She got pregnant young, they got married and went on to have 3 more unplanned kids. My memories of her growing up are mostly of her being overwhelmed, depressed and cold. (There were good times too). My father started sexually abusing my sister and I when I was 8 and this went on until I was 16 - unfortunately he was the parent who showed us love and attention so this was very confusing obviously. My sister developed an eating disorder, ending up in a psychiatric hospital for 4 months when she was in her early 20s and I had panic attacks throughout my childhood and was extremely shy. I coped by what I now realize is "self-protection" which means I have shut people out of my life other than life partners. I was also a heavy drinker since childhood. I have many aquaintances/work friends but no real close friends. 30 years ago I moved away from the country I grew up in and have made my life in the US. Although I love where I live, I have always felt a sense of guilt and homesickness - now more so as my father is elderly and it has fallen to my sister to watch out for him. I can't really change the decisions I made 30 years ago but I would love to be more at peace with them. Things started changing for me when my mother died 6 years ago. I realized I needed some help and started seeing a therapist which seemed to help somewhat. I started feeling happier, started working out and then last summer just as I was feeling the best I've ever felt I was diagnosed with breast cancer. When I told my sister her first words were "It's stress" and I've instinctively known this to be true. Why else would a very healthy person who eats well and looks after herself and who has no known genetic factors develop breast cancer at 52? Luckily it was caught very early but it was invasive and estrogen + so I had a lumpectomy, a course of chemo and then radiation which all finished in January. I'm now supposed to be taking Tamoxifen for 5 years. This is where the Healing Codes comes in. This book came to me in a rather serendipitous chain of events. I originally decided to read "The Secret: The Power" after poo-pooing the idea but my sister is really in to it so I felt that as she is normally a pretty sceptical person there must be something to it and I was pleasantly surprised at it's message. Around the same time I received an email from an oncology newsletter telling me about the "1 Minute Cure" which claims to cure cancer and most other diseases by oxygenating your cells. I found this very intriguing so bought the book and found it really interesting and decided to give it a try. However, it did mention at the end that if your cells are closed due to past traumatic memories then this therapy would not work. The book then went on to recommend another book - "The Greatest Manifestation Principle in the World" which I duly bought and was just as impressed with it. It basically fills in the gaps of "The Secret". While I was checking this book out on Amazon I came across "The Healing Codes" bought it and am now in the process of trying whilst simultaneously fighting my chronic tendency to procrastinate. My dilemma is that I am supposed to be taking Tamoxifen and have put it off partly due to my intense fear of unwanted sideeffects which I feel will set me back in the gains I have made over the last 6 years and my gut-feeling is that this is not a good drug to take. I am also seeing a naturopath who has me on natural estrogen-lowering supplements and I have changed my diet. My acupuncturist got me through chemo and radiation with practically no side-effects. The other reason I am putting it off is that I feel it will interfere with the healing codes healing process. I have to admit that I am having quite the internal battle over my gut-feeling and hopes for "the healing codes" and my head which is telling me to do what the oncologist says and not question it (I'm not very good at that....) I feel that I had started making strides in self-healing already but the cancer has thrown all of that up in the air even though I have been strangely peaceful and happy throughout the cancer experience. I just need to make sure it doesn't come back and thoroughly clean house. I will update in several months. ps. sorry to blab on for so long!

Well worth getting
I've had this book since July and held off reviewing until I had thoroughly put it to the test. I highly recommend getting this book if one truly, really wants to gain peace from their issues and move forward in a positive way. If staying enmeshed is what someone wants, then don't get it. It will require you dig deep to find the source issues to heal and some people just may not be ready for that. I used EFT a great deal and have found it to be very good, especially in the moment as an emotional triage, but to really negate an issue at it's source, I've found nothing to compare with the Healing Code research and modality. Also, I've never had any problems that their customer service wasn't very, very helpful to remedy or answer and the book bonuses, especially the seven-secrets video, are really good. That said, I think investing in the Healing Codes to be worthwhile and while $197.00 is a lot of money, it's nothing compared to prolonged therapy where a person is re-traumatized over and over again 'talking it out' and getting nowhere, even if things like EMDR are employed. My problem (and many others who have used this protocol have the same issues, as we have an online forum and off-list emails where we support one another) is this: The Q codes ought to have been a part of the Healing Codes package. And the cross-promotional emails one receives where Dr. Loyd says "Check this out!!" and it's a webinar for another energy practitioner who promotes things that both Dr. Loyd and Dr. Johnson have plainly said they will not go spiritually, then it smacks of hypocrisy. I know these are cross-promotional agreements and am not a rube when it comes to business, but it is annoying and seemingly endless at times. In my honest opinion, all these minor irritations are just that; minor. Especially when it comes to the healing I've experienced. I've had literal monsters in my life from birth onward and many deep scars that I feel for the first time are actually healed. I see things for what they are without it impacting who I am emotionally and that is truly priceless. What I do not like is when some of the people Dr. Loyd employs use their version of Christianity to support the source of the Healing Codes. What I know is this: In a fear inspiring way we are wonderfully made and are designed to heal and this works. I don't want to hear pulpit style things to support why they are doing what they do. I know they are well-intentioned and that it works and that is enough for me. As someone who is a scholar of the Bible, I know that much of what passes for Christianity is not at all what was practiced when the Christian congregation was first formed and that many cherished dogma was adopted from surrounding pagan nations, so I think it best for them to leave this stuff OUT; it diminishes the healing protocol in my opinion and opens them up for some of the baseless attacks seen with some of these reviews, as THE PROTOCOL WORKS REGARDLESS OF YOUR BELIEF SYSTEM. I've read some of the negative reviews and honestly, I think that those reviews are hurtful and diseased. Some are using it as a platform to promote their leap of faith, scorning of intelligent reason and rationality to promote the fundamental and militant religion of Atheism and shame on them for doing so; but that is their burden and if they want to spurn something that works, that's their choice. I just hope those ready to really heal and move forward do not allow it to stop them from exploring the Healing Code(s).

The Healing Code: A Code to a New You
Have you ever felt as if you're living your life backwards? Do you ever feel as if you're working so hard but you're only taking tiny steps forward? Read this book - The Healing Code - and it will, without a shadow of doubt, completely revolutionise your life. Most of our ill health stems from one simple word: stress. And stress is the number one cause of heart attacks, strokes, ME, and many other illnesses. It might not be possible to eliminate stress completely from our lives but it is possible to live our lives - having done the exercises in the Healing Code book - in a different way giving us a better chance of success. But many of our illnesses are not only caused by stress, they're caused by a compromised immune system which not many of us realise. The authors of this book, Dr Alex Loyd and Ben Johnson, have spent years researching the effects of the Healing Codes and they are of the opinion (validated by extensive research and study) that memories are not stored in the brain but in our cells and that any traumatic or unhappy experience is the blocking point to our physical well-being. This build up of unhappy memories in the cells in our bodies causes an overload in our immune systems, causing it to shut down almost entirely in some cases and it is that which is at the root of most of illness and disease. So - if we go back to the earliest unhappy memory we have and practise the Healing Code exercises for a minimum of 6 minutes each time, up to 4 times a day, there is astonishing data which proves undeniably that we can heal these memories. If the memories are healed, then bit by bit the immune system begins to work again and other areas of our lives are rebalanced and our health improved. It's a win-win situation. I read this book and put into practise the Healing Code but due to time constraints I was only able to do them once in total for about the recommended 6 minutes. The next time I was in a situation which would normally have left me in an argumentative or upset mode, I found that I was able to deal with the situation without even reacting - or even thinking of reacting. Imagine how that would have been intensified had I completed the exercises for the recommended 4 times a day. As someone who has several health issues I am now working with the exercises to heal other memories and I know that it will only be a matter of time before I am the woman I am meant to be! Read this book! You owe it to yourself to give it a go.

Lifechanging results, even though it feels weird doing it.
If you're skeptical you'll find plenty to object to and call quackery, and will continue dealing with issues conventional approaches don't solve. However if you're open minded and/or not entirely sold on the wisdom of conventional medicine and conventional approaches this is worth reading. I must admit to feeling a bit silly doing what it says, but have to admit this has helped me and my family with several issues we have faced, big and small. It does not come across as against the traditional medical model (I'm not a fan when people just have an axe to grind), but rather this offers something to supplement whatever else you may be doing. I bought the hardcover after reading and applying the kindle version, just because I wanted to use it more often as a reference book.
