This is an excellent pet carrier - durable and comfortable for my cat. However there are a couple of things to be aware of. I got medium carrier because my cat is just over 5kg and quite large. This was a good size for her, however, it did NOT fit under the airline seat infront of me in the cabin of either of my Lufthanza flights UNLESS it was turned on its side. In the reviews of this product it says it can collapse into an 'A frame', but I am not sure how one would go about doing this. The bag has an excellent design with many windows and access points, so I could still see and get to my cat even with the bag on its side. If I could suggest some design improvements though, I would (1) have the soft mat extend up one side of the bag as well as just the base, so that the bag can be used on its side and the cat has soft padding beneath it rather than the plastic struts of the bag when flying in the cabin. And (2) have roll down covers for the rest of the windows in the bag (not just the top one). Whilst I appreciate the need for ventilation and that option is fantastic, my cat is extremely anxious and I had to keep a towel over the whole bag at loud points in the airport to calm her down. On a more positive note, my cat hates carrybags and cages, but she made this one her home and voluntarily sleeps in it as a bed when at home. She even sleeps in it in our new house after having had a 12 hour journey in it! (I thought she might hate it after travelling in it, but it is still a safe comfortable space for her even afterwards). I used all three functions of this bag during my journey (over the shoulder, handle, and backpack) and all were very comfortable and very versatile. The netting held up to the initial clawing it got when my cat was shut in the back, and it was easy to access my cat to comfort her during the journey. I would definitely recommend this product, but encourage purchasers to be aware of the size they are buying. No airline cared about my cat - they only wanted to check the bag. Neither did they look at the bag's size, but you as the owner need to make sure the bag can fit under the seat in front, or your cat won't be able to fly with you. A note to anyone flying with cats, please be aware you will probably have to get the cat out at security. For my first flight at Edinburgh airport, this was done in a nice quiet sealed room, but in Frankfurt, I had to hold her in a very loud, very big room in my arms whilst the bag went through the security check. EDIT: 5 years later, this product still holds up extremely well and we've had to do another big overland trip with the cat in it. One thing I want to emphasise - make sure you do up the clips provided on the zips! If your cat is like mine, she can start nudging them open and make a break for it. I have had one issue where she even managed to bend the metal of the clip and start getting the zips open this way, but I spotted this and solved the problem before she could work them open any further. I'd still highly recommend this product, just don't leave your escapologist cat in it unattended for a long time.

Price is out there, but I must admit that these are the best carriers I've ever had - and I had many! Fabric is thick and rigid, it shows that construction is thought through and functional. I have 10 pets and I needed something durable and versatile to allow me to carry 2 - 3 carriers at once (trips to the vet). Highlights/Pros: * easy to assemble * clips holding zips together, so nosy pet will not be able to unzip the carrier * all the straps can be attached in various positions to allow the different set-up of the carrier to suit you and your pet the most * surprisingly comfortable to wear on the back like a backpack (less comfortable to wear at the front, especially for woman, if y'all know what I mean) * pleeeenty of room inside - the largest size easily fits 2 small dogs (chihuahua and a small terrier) or 3 medium cats (up to 3.5 kg) or a bunch of kittens (7, around 1kg each) * extra windows on the sides to allow your pet to look outside Cons: * folds a little when fixed in the car with safety belts, but not much * could be a bit wider on the bottom and shorter in height If you have a multiple pet household, I don't think you'll find anything better. Worth the money in my opinion.

We bought two of these carriers to transport our cats (in the airplane cabin) back to Canada from Scotland. They're well made, and my husband and I liked the multiple carrying options (I wore it as a front backpack, he carried it like a shoulder bag), and all the zippered areas that allowed us to sneak a hand in without the cats thinking they could escape. The mesh sections are durable, and the carriers are sturdy. My only qualms are that due to the inner bones of the carrier, it would not fit under the airplane seats, despite being "airline approved". We had to turn them on their sides (and they still didn't really fit), which meant putting an additional blanket inside each carrier because the bedding they came with is velcro'd down. Without the additional blankets (that we had to manoeuvre around while the cats were inside), the cats would have spent the 7 hour flight sleeping on the wall of the carrier, with no padding and the metal bones under them. And again, even on their sides they barely fit under the seats, which left very little leg room us. I'd recommend this for car/local travel in a heartbeat though!

Brilliant product. I wasn't sure which carry case to go for, however very happy we picked this one for our kitten. We have a house cat who we like to take on trips to the park and also on train journeys when heading home to visit family. This bag allows us to wear as a back pack when cycling and is enough room for our cat to lye down and see out the top when the flap is rolled back. We can also wear this on our fronts and as a side bag. There's a handy pocket to keep treats and allows a nice amount of ventilation. Our cat feels comfortable with the carrier, as will often sit in it prior to and after being on a trip. Overall the quality is very strong, so we are quite impressed and would happily recommend to anyone looking for a carrier. Our cat is now 6 months old and the medium is still a nice size for her for short trips.

From the very start this product began to fall apart. The metal part of the straps are so weak and broke off. The bag can no longer be used as a carrier as there no longer any functioning straps to use. It's not a cheap item ... don't waste your money.

I love everything about this bag. The attention to detail is really superb - even miniature clips on the zips so you're dog can't accidentally open any of the compartments. Long shoulder strap, short handles, and backpack straps, so it's really versatile to carry. Both ends up and there's an opening at the top too so if you have it sat on your lap you can open the top and stroke your dog/cat. Soft comfy cushion. Slots to fit a seatbelt if using in a car. An extra pocket for treats. From the moment my dog saw it he was happy to get in and lie down in it. I got the medium size bag and it's just right for my miniature wirehaired dachshund. Now to see how it goes on the plane!

Arrived with one of expansion hoops slightly damaged. Asked supplier to resolve. Offered small discount but not a replacement hoop..kept item as needed for immediate journey. Supplier did contact to see if I was happy but unfortunately I was not in position to respond. Shame there are no fabric blind options as there are with cheaper options. Sturdy base was good. Would prefer more options on finish for such a premium product

My mini wire haired dachshund travels in the bag with me on my motorcycle. Does the job I wanted it to do perfectly. Made some adjustments to the ventilation so he doesn't get too cold but that was for my peace of mind and not a fault. The bag is very well made and a lot of thought has gone into the design. The instructions for use and the safety of your pet is obviously very important to the makers. The rucksack straps are just what I wanted and utilised the shoulder strap linked to the rucksack straps for added security. Again that wasn't really necessary but makes me feel better. Other bag straps in the past have weakened. I'm more confident these straps won't. No minuses in my opinion. And was delivered earlier than promised. Thank you

I've been a cat owner for about 25 years, and this is the absolute best carrier. I've been using it for about 9 months now. I bought it because my cat has started getting monthly injections, and I needed something that would ease transportation to and from the vet. It's very strong and sturdy, and also roomy. My chonky, 22-lb girl can loaf and turn around with ease. The bottom and sides are rigid, the straps are thick, and all the buckles lock. I have total peace of mind carrying her. The functionality is top notch: backpack, handles, shoulder strap. The only thing it doesn’t have is wheels, but if you need to you could probably strap it securely to a small dolly and wheel your precious cargo (again, the bottom and sides is rigid, so it wouldn't collapse). It's also just aesthetically attractive as well! Lovely color, sleek design. My vets and technicians often comment on how nice this carrier is. Is it over priced? For sure. Should you get it anyway? Absolutely yes!

We just got this today and were so excited we forgot to remove the tags before we used it outside! Our 13lb dachshund loves it and didn’t want to get out of it! What we love: - its base is super sturdy and doesn’t sag - it’s water resistant - it’s totally customizable with buckle clip areas everywhere - the stitching is well done - the padded bed inside is soft & removable - the padded shoulder straps are comfy - there’s zippered mesh everywhere which is so nice but also with an option to close up the top one … so if it’s raining, the animal won’t get wet - there’s extra storage room on the side mesh and a pocket for phones and wallets - it’s lightweight - the bottom has heavy plastic grips The only critique: - to get the bag higher up on my back, we used the fastening loops further away which rode the chest clasp close to my throat Honestly it’s just really well made (good quality) and was completely worth the money if you’re outdoorsy! Our dog had IVDD surgery a few years ago so we wanted something safe & sturdy that we can take him hiking in, have searched for something appropriate for awhile now and FINALLY found this! So thrilled with this purchase. Thank you thank you.

E' un trasportino fantastico, intuitivo da montare, spazioso anche per il mio gattone di sei chili e mezzo, comodo e versatile (lo si può portare a mano come un trasportino tradizionale, a tracolla, o come zaino, ottima soluzione per me e il mio gattone di sei chili e mezzo, dato che io non mi sento affaticata dal portarlo sulle spalle, e lui non subisce grossi sobbalzi a causa della mia andatura, cosa inevitabile in un trasportino tradizionale). Si smonta facilmente e si ripiega per essere riposto senza che occupi molto spazio, la cuccia sul fondo è fissata con del velcro così che non slitti durante i viaggi, ma che si possa rimuovere e lavare, e le aperture su quattro lati consentono una buona aerazione. Sono presenti anche due utili tasche in cui ci stanno un paio di ciotole, libretto sanitario, croccantini e acqua, per ogni evenienza.

Hola, Así como escribo opiniones negativas cuando el producto lo merece, en esta ocasión necesitaba alabar esta mochila porque nos ha salvado el viaje a los Pirineos. Mi Westie de 10 años y de 7.5kg fue operada hace un par de años de ligamento cruzado, lo que nos hace complicado llevarla, como antes, a caminatas largas y, sobretodo, empinadas. Antes, teníamos que dejarla en casa cuando hacíamos este tipo de viajes o salidas, pero este año tenía que llevármela sí o sí, así que busqué esta mochila y no puedo estar más contenta. Hemos hecho caminatas los 5 días que hemos estado en el Pirineo Aragonés y cada una de ellas de entre 13 y 20 kms. Cuando el camino no tenía cuestas, iba ella andando, pero en subidas y bajadas, la metíamos en la mochila y ha sido maravillosa. Sólida, robusta y ella iba genial. Refrigerada porque entra aire por los lados y por arriba y el suelo es rígido por lo que ella iba cómoda (llegaba, incluso, a tumbarse). Iba justa, es verdad, no es que le sobrara mucho espacio, pero justa para su tamaño. También es verdad que, así como en la foto está con la cabeza fuera, en ruta teníamos que encerrarla dentro porque se movía demasiado con la cabeza fuera y era molesto. En cuanto le cerramos las salidas, ya se quedó quieta. Tampoco pasó calor (nos íbamos preguntando mi pareja y yo continuamente si jadeaba o no) y la tía iba tan pichi. Una muy buena compra y muy contetos. Me ha merecido la pena la diferencia de precio con otras más baratas.

Très bon sac à dos de transport pour chien un peu difficile à construire ou du moins à mettre en forme je pense avoir réussi mais j'ai un doute avec les sangles j'ai un très gros problème et pourtant j'ai lu et relu ce que vous m'aviez mis sur Amazon par contre la notice est en anglais impossible et à chaque fois que j'essaye sur ma boîte mail de voir vos pièces jointes elles ne veulent pas se mettre en route une seule fois j'ai réussi pour une seule pièce sur trois je parle de pièce jointe ce sac à dos est temps pour une personne âgée je pense qu'il ne va rien comprendre du tout et malheureusement je pense que j'ai payé le sac à dos très cher pour quelque chose où il va pas arriver à se servir à cause des sangles surtout si je les ai pas mis correctement de plus il y a d'autres petites choses sur le sac à dos je ne sais pas à quoi cela sert pour ma part j'ai réussi à mettre les sangles à ma façon et sur le poitrail également et sur le dos pour moi ça me conviendrait mais je n'ai pas le même âge je trouve qu'il est très bien avec ce petit tapis douillet également mais je crois que j'ai vu un peu gros ou un peu grand pour un chihuahua qui est quand même un peu grand pour sa race pense que le monsieur à qui j'ai offert le chien va vouloir enlever les sangles et ne garder que celle où l'on porte un sac à dos ou à la main ce qui est dommage parce que ça lui ferait moins de poids et ça bougerait beaucoup moins le chien serait beaucoup plus content de le voir de plus près et de voir sa petite tête sortie par l'ouverture du haut je trouve que ce sac malgré le fait que je dois être un petit peu bébête pour les sangles alors que pour le reste j'ai fait ça en 5 minutes le montage j'aurais eu moi un chien malheureusement les miens sont décédés ça aurait été super et impeccable merci beaucoup et si vous avez des infos que vous pouvez me donner ne serait-ce que même en vidéo ça serait génial sur ma boîte mail ou bien ici je ne sais pas très cordialement je vous dis à bientôt et tous mes vœux pour cette année.
