Last summer I bought myself an Erbauer bench sander, I had some things to make and needed a good sander. It is a very good sander though at almost £170 it should be. My problems came when I wanted to put a coarser grade belt on. It only came with one belt. So I went down to Scewfix where I had bought it and got a selection of belts. BUT they were no good so slack that they were impossible to use. I took them back and tried to get in touch with the company to see if they supplied belts. This company must be owned by MI5. I couldn't get a phone number, address or Email address. Screw fix were no help ( they must have signed the Official Secrets Act too). None of my local DIY stores stocked this size belts. Luckily the original belt lasted long enough to finish my job. This week I decided to look on Amazon and saw these belts. Not wanting to spend a lot on belts that might not fit, I plumped for these. They arrived yesterday and today I set about changing my long suffering original belt. The new belt was a snug fit even before I tensioned it. Once fitted I adjusted it to run centrally and it was perfect! I've tried it out and it works fine, no slipping or stopping, it does what it's supposed to do. Now I need to get some more in different grades. If you have an Erbauer sander and are having difficulty getting belts to fit- get these! Oh, and avoid Screwfix belts THEY don't fit!

The overall belt quality is good, but the joint where the two edges meet causes the part you sanded to bounce with every turn of the belt. I wish it had a smooth joint.
