The device is excellent, and the only other platform that comes close is the Walksnail platform. One thing to be aware of, though, is that if you're using this with the DJI Goggles 3, there is a bug that will occasionally cause connection loss, which is not ideal when you're flying! If you are going to use it with the Goggles 3, definitely use a GPS recovery for now until the problem is patched. I will give a 3 star due to the bug. Edit: DJI has now fixed the bug so 5 stars!

Quality like no other on the market but it’s rather big. This is a speciality item though so not sure a review would work here. Delivery was fast ☺️

Absolutely brilliant unit, a huge upgrade from the previous Air Unit & Air Unit Lite. However you do need to make sure your flight controller can handle the power consumption needed for the unit. Swapping from O3 to back Original Air Unit can be a pain but is literally a 2 second rebind process and is hardly an issue worthy of 1 star. One thing I would mention is, because of how early days it is there are hardly any mods or prints for certain frames and may require a bit of persistent searching or cad.

Was using this on a FPV plane, the signal immediately dropped out at a certain distance, in my panic I had to switch modes into level flight mode, but in my panicked state i flicked the wrong switch (acro) and couldnt get my bearings and nosedived directly into the ground, followed all the instructions, and it was a pain in the arse to try and set up the HUD. Ill be sticking to prebuilds in future.

The DJI O3 air unit is truly the best thing to put on your quad. It is quite pricy, but considering you now no longer need to buy a gopro and have digital transmission it definitely proves it’s worth it. I think the install was particularly easy, as well as the binding and setup. I would warn anyone if they don’t already know that if you buy this make sure you have a spot to mount the vtx module where it gets ample airflow. It gets extremely hot during flight (100-130f). Overall amazing product and I highly recommend if you aren’t super strict on your budget. Also good if you don’t plan on buying a gopro or don’t have one.

I have received a faulty product. The cable is snapped or burnt. It was described like new, but obviously not. First time in this hobby. Hope this helps others.

Stopped working after setting up everything took it outside no sign of life like dead, worked with usb recognised but with battery plugged in no life.

Junk really, at least if you want to use for other purpose, originally wanted to use This for a 200mph car but it’s a nightmare to mount, needs major cooling and you have to use dam DJI remote as well as the goggles! DJI, supply a basic mount!! Sort this so you can just use the goggles to operate!

This is my second 03 Air Unit, and it's definitely a gamechanger. It's not a replacement for a GoPro, if you're an image aficionado, but it's more than good enough for the majority of hobbyists and it's lightweight. My only gripes are a lack of audio recording, and the dismal low light performance and mediocre dynamic range. I'd also love if I were able to fly in 4:3, while recording in 16:9. Can't complain too much though, as nothing else on the market comes even close to filling this niche. I'll still rock my OG Air Units and Vistas for my freestyle bashers, but for micros and UL Long-range, the 03 is the cat's ass. Shipping was quick and painless, and the unit was well protected in bubble packing and a larger cardboard box. Definitely recommend. The image in the goggles is glorious, and the onboard recording is damn good, especially when using ND filters. 🥳

Tuttavia, ho notato che a drone fermo tende a scaldare parecchio, quindi è importante tenerlo sotto controllo se non si sta volando attivamente. Nonostante questo piccolo dettaglio, la performance generale è fantastica e vale assolutamente l'investimento. Se cercate il meglio per il vostro FPV, non rimarrete delusi!

Très satisfait du résultat de l'installation, j'ai dû adapter plusieurs choses car cela ne s'ajustait pas bien à mon cadre, mais tout s'est bien passé. La qualité de l'O3 est incroyable, la transmission, la qualité d'image sont remarquables et vous pouvez filmer avec elle. Je recommande de passer en mode FCC.
