An all around great stationary bike
With the pandemic, options are limited on how to work out inside. With winter coming, outside exercise is slipping away fast. Looked at numerous bikes and decided that magnetic resistance is the way to go. So much quieter, smoother, and less maintenance in the long run. Bike was delivered in one box. Very well packed and pretty heavy. Assembly was straight forward. The only issue I had was the bike computer had a defect. It knew what time had elapsed and what the current speed was with good accuracy. But the overall distance was about 1/5 of what the real mileage was at the end. Contacted customer support and Jack sent me a new computer! All is well now. The ONLY thing missing is there is no cadence counter. If you are going to use the bike to follow along with any program that involves cadence, you'll just have to extrapolate your speed to something similar. I'm about 6'. I have the seat and handle bars maxed out in every setting but I am comfortable riding it. The seat is surprisingly comfortable. The cages on the pedals can take some getting used to but I do like them when standing up on the pedals for long climbs. If you dont want to use the cage, you just spin the pedal and use the other sides normally. The resistance on the bike is fantastic. I'm going as high as 13-14 turns of the dial and its exhausting. But that still hasn't maxed out the resistance. So I think the average person would really have to evolve to elite level to max out the usefulness of this bike. I have the bike parked in front of a 43" Fire TV I got for $209, thank you Amazon. I use Studio Sweat on Demand for $19/month through the TV and have access to thousands of classes. Lots of spin classes to follow along. Basically, a "poor man's Peloton" for a fraction of the price. The bike is so quiet and smooth that its a bonus trying to listen and follow along. Hopefully this gets me through the winter and more. Overall, I really like the purchase. Its a bit of a beast if you want to move it at all, but thats actually a good thing. The heavy fly wheel and frame construction means it doesnt really wobble or want to move around on you when you are really digging into the pedals. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one if I was doing it all over again.

Great bike with great features. Almost perfect
So first and most importantly this is a well built bike. Packaging seemed great with nothing rattling around. It’s easy to assemble and should only take 30 minutes or so. The tools it came with are not the best. I would only use them if you don’t have real wrenches to work with. I have used the bike about 5 hours so far so i can’t speak to long term reliability but it seems to be great. I’m 6’4 250 pounds and it holds me working out vigorously with no issues whatsoever. All the adjustments it can do make life easier. It would be nice if the handlebars came up just a bit higher but they are close for me. The computer is not great. But i use it to judge speed and a wahoo cadence to keep me up to par with the classes I’m watching. Seat is wide and pretty comfortable for the most part. The magnetic resistance works really well. But... it takes a while to come up to higher resistance. Meaning from zero to 100 percent resistance is 12 full turns. It’s a little extra work to remember where to keep it for say 50 percent and then try to take it to 75 percent. There is no gauge for how much resistance your applying either. It’s my only only real complaint about this bike. Please joroto if your listening upgrade your future bikes to have less turns on the resistance. And add some way to gauge how much resistance your using. It can be a little difficult and distracting during a workout to crank a knob 8 or 10 times over and over agin. . But it’s not a complete deal breaker and can be managed. The bike is very quiet. Only a slight and i mean very slight noise can be heard. Someone could very easily be in the same room and not be distracted at all. Overall I’m very pleased and impressed.

Inexpensive, sturdy, and arrived super fast!
I spent countless hours looking online at different indoor spin bikes, felt like I read hundreds of reviews, good & bad, finally settled on this beauty, whom I've named JoJo :) - mainly due to the awesome price point and the mentions of great customer service (which I have yet to encounter). Ordered on 8/5, arrived earlier than expected on 8/8! (no 2-month backorder like some super expensive brands). Sure, Peloton is great... the features & functionality it offers, but listen, my husband & I have been very financially affected due to Covid, and the $2K+ price tag was NOT our jam. Getting my cardio by running the hills around my house was starting to bother my knee a bit, so I knew I needed something with less impact. And it's helpful that I was able to use my Amazon Prime CC to pay this off interest-free for 6 months!! I am a HUGE fan of the Peloton app for all their offerings of classes, so I was excited to try out "JoJo" this morning with the app, did a fun 30-min class, explored the feeling of this bike, the resistance, etc. I realized today that I DEFINITELY need the Wahoo RPM Cycling Cadence Sensor to follow along with the class... which I read about by the other reviews, so ordered it at the same time and is expected to arrive in a couple days. JoJo is on a heavy duty equipment mat with carpet below it... so I found moving her backwards or forwards to be a challenge, so gave 'maneuverability' a 3-star, especially since when I tilt it forward by the handlebars and try to push backwards on the wheels, the handlebar moves down a bit, so maybe that's user-error and we need to tighten it more. Same with the seat, we've tightened it a ton and still seems to have a little give. But it's not bothersome at all right now. I do love that the handle bars can move fwd/back, many do not...wish the seat adjustment down/up was a bit easier, but once you have your setting (and especially if no one else will be using it), then you don't need to worry about that. I'll probably swap out the pedals to allow for spin shoes later on, I don't own a pair yet - so not a priority for me right now. Flywheel is super quite, I don't have a ton of comparison on that, since I usually take spin classes in studios, where the music is loud and you can't hear much else anyway... but it wasn't noticeable at all. Wishlist#1 - I do wish I had somewhere else to put my water bottle when my Fire tablet is on the handlebars, but it blocks the bottle holder... so I may find a water bottle holder to attach to the center bar below the resistance knob for convenience. Would be great to see the attachment have a separate tablet holder just above the current water bottle holders, which would be better to have a screen at eye level for proper neck/spin alignment. Which brings me to my final point/critique: I feel lost when I don't know the actual NUMBER of resistance I'm on... Wishlist#2 - I SOOOOO wish the screen had some kind of resistance calculation or indicator to be able to follow along to online spin classes. I ride to the beat of the song, so if I can't keep up - lessen resistance (sometimes a lot, feels like I have to rotate it quite a bit) or if I'm past the beat easily, increase resistance. But man, that'd be a GAME CHANGER if it had it on the screen. All in all, I'm happy with my first home spin bike, my first ride done this morning and got a great sweat without leaving the house and had coffee waiting for me as a reward! With the features & price, you can't go wrong (PS. shout out to the amazing reviewer that included an ahhhmazing Excel spreadsheet with the price point comparison - freaking GOLD!) - try it, you won't be disappointed!

Top of the line and still significantly more affordable than the competition!
This review is for the Joroto X4S I’ve never put a bike together myself - outdoor or indoor, and found the setup much easier than expected. Think I probably struggled more with just getting everything out of the box with all of the plastic wrapping, tape, and styrofoam inside, but at least it was well protected during shipping. The Bluetooth functionality DOES work with Apple Watch. Just need to go into the Bluetooth setting on your watch and select it under the health accessories (after powering on the screen of the bike). Also tested with a trial of Apple Fitness+ and could see my RPMs on screen, so I knew it was synced up. Seems like a perfect alternative to Peloton, which is exactly what I wanted. Also works with a bunch of other apps - the manual recommends Kinomap, but I haven’t played around with that much yet. The ride itself is very smooth and quiet. Nothing felt loose, wobbly, squeaky, or poorly constructed. Really heavy duty stuff. I do wish the phone holder/water bottle holder was a bit bigger. Worked fine with my phone but not sure if it’d be enough to support a bigger tablet (it probably is though - the device holder part is a very grippy rubber). The screen on it is backlit which is nice if you plan on only using that. The seat…isn’t great. It’s very hard, kind of awkwardly small, and is definitely a pain to sit on. I’ll probably look for a replacement or cover asap. My first session with it definitely reminded me how out of shape I am, but it’s good to know that I can get a good workout on it. I’ve been missing cycling since I moved to a more hilly part of town. Very much looking forward to getting back into the shape I was in when I used to bike to the office (about a 20min total combined commute time).

Better Than Expected!
A bit of a long review but big for item of this size and price, more info is better than less. I cross shopped this with the Schwinn IC3 and some of the Sunny Health and Fitness models in the same price range. I previously purchased a Sunny model in the $300 that lasted for a little more than a year before the seat post broke at the seat bracket. I was concerned about buying a bike that I could not inspect in person to see if the materials were thicker, more robust after the failure of the Sunny. I'm leaving 5 stars for now but 4.5 is probably closer to the truth. The bike isn't perfect but I am mostly happy with my purchase. That opinion may change over time but these are some immediate impressions. Pros - price w/ delivery was about $580 w/ a coupon from Amazon. As is common with these types of bikes, there is not much assembly required so I think most folks can buy without expert assembly and be ok. The company provides an assembly video but I used the included tools and manual to put it together. Assembly was relatively easy but the bike has some weight to it so a second set of hands may help, especially when adding the base supports. Everything else slides/ screws into place fairly easily. I had my bike out of the box and assembled in about an hour. The bike is sturdy. Solidly built, especially the seat/ seat post assembly. I swapped out the included seat for a padded one so I can't speak to the comfort but the post is much thicker than the Sunny model I previously purchased. Pedaling was "whisper" quiet. I was surprised at how little noise the bike makes. The noise never bothered me much as I usually listen to music on my headphones but if it matters to you, this bike should not be a bother in that regard. The LCD display is big and bright, easy to read. The ride height and handle bars are adjustable and it was easy to find a comfortable set up. Cons - The handlebar assembly is a bit wobbly. That may just be due to the weight of that part of the bike. The tablet holder is a bit narrow. I'm confident it will hold a standard tablet, but not one in a chunky case. I like chunky cases. I've never ridden a Peleton or some of the other 1K+ bikes so I can't compare but the looks, quality, sturdiness, quietness and other qualities of the X4S made me comfortable with my purchase, especially in comparison to my experience with a bike that cost about half as much and some of the issues I had with it. I didn't try to connect the bike to any apps so I'm not sure about the bluetooth connectivity element. The bike looks good, rides quiet, and feels solid in the seat. I'm looking forward to spinning away!

Sturdy Bike
This is a very sturdy bike. It's the first one I've ever owned so I don't have anything to compare it to except bikes at the gym. It's very heavy in its compact package, but in the end that heaviness leads to a more stable riding experience so it was worth the effort getting it downstairs. I had read in another review that one could get another information display that also included cadence (which the original does not) and unless they now include the X1S display in their latest deliveries I'd ask for that one. If you email them they send it for free. (and it looks nicer too). Which leads me to say this is some of the best customer service I've had. When the bike came one of the plastic sleeves that held the handlebar post was cracked a bit (not really a problem functionally but it's nice to have everything look good), so I emailed and they sent me 2 new ones of different lengths. Easy to replace. I also mentioned to them I thought the initial resistance was a bit too strong for me and could that be adjusted. They send me videos on how to do that. So far I've been using it daily for maybe a month and really look forward to it. The seat is actually reasonably comfortable. My rear end was not worked in well at the start and I got an extra gel seat cover but that actually made it worse. The seat that comes with it is just fine on its own it appears. I am one who sits mostly upright when riding so the handlebar set up, they way they recommend, made the bars too far away, but luckily, the way it was designed, I could reverse the orientation of the support bar and bring the handlebars closer to the seat. I recommended to them they investigate a design which would increase the range of movement in the bars to accommodate people like me. But it's working just fine as I set it up. I do wish the seat and handlebars posts were a bit more lengthy but it works okay as is. (I'm 5-10). I also wish the part of the bars that holds the water bottles and also an ipad, had a more safe way to keep the ipad in place. There are 2 triangular protrusions the extend upwards to catch the bottom of the ipad but they are just barely longer that the ipad is thick so I am constantly worried that when I touch the ipad it will slide off and crash to the ground. I'm thinking of trying to make a DYI extension for more security there. The pedals seem fine now. I had a little sense of glitch in the left pedal but it seems to have gone away permanently so who knows. The company offered to help me with that whatever I found. This is a very sturdy and quiet bike, and for the price I really think I got my monies worth.

Excellent Build Quality, Smooth, Quiet, Very Happy
You can add me to the list of satisfied customers. The X4S is an amazing trainer. Excellent build quality. It's durability is evident and I have no doubt it will last. I looked at other bikes but in the end chose the Joroto. Assembly is straight forward and takes under an hour. Worth noting. The computer pairs with Kinomap and other workout applications. It does this with Bluetooth, but you do not connect the bike to the Bluetooth on your mobile device. You pair it directly with the workout app. Initially this was confusing but I contacted support for clarification. This brings up the next positive about Joroto. Support is excellent and responsive. I sent an email and had a reply in less than 24 hours. I got an answer to my question and a link to a helpful video. Often times, after sales support is what defines a company. I'm glad I chose this bike. There is no reason to buy a peloton at 4x the price. The X4S is every bit as smooth and quiet. The bike is so quiet that you could use it in a bedroom without disturbing your partner. The first time I rode it I was amazed. It's highly adjustable. Other family members can make adjustments and be ready to ride in a minute or two. It's perfect for people with busy lives. No trips to the gym. Having it at home is super convenient. It's ready when you are. It offers magnetic resistance for all skill and endurance levels. It includes pedals with toe cages but I'll probably swap those for clipless. We all appreciate buying something that does what it says it's going to do. This bike lives up to those expectations. If you're considering this bike, buy it.

Broke The First Week, But Working Fine Now
See the end of this review for an update. Working with their support people I got the necessary replacement parts and the bike now works perfectly. The bike looks nice, it allows you to adjust the seat and handles up and down as well as forwards and backwards. It was super quiet, and then it suddenly started making a loud clacking noise that got worse. I contacted their support via email and on Amazon, it appears that they might not really be connected to each other, I'm not sure. They apologized profusely and sent me replacement parts with a video and some tools. The video did not cover how to remove the belt and after asking them how to do that, they (both support channels) simply didn't respond. I got the idea to use an old belt of mine (included a photo) that I wedged into the track and that helped to get the bike belt off it's track. The bearings have to be removed for the repair, and that took me hitting them with all my might for minutes on end before popping out. Putting the replacement bearings in was pretty easy, thankfully. After the repair the bike seems to be working great, so that's good news. I just hope it stays that way! I'm giving it 4 stars because their support people kept working with me to resolve the issue and get all the correct replacement parts. After the fix with the replacement parts the bike is working perfectly.

Studioqualität, was die Hardware angeht!

Was viel hochwertiger ist. Ich bin nun rundherum zufrieden. Klasse! Macht weiter so!

Amazing home exercise spin bike.
Ok.....This bike is simply amazing. No noise what so ever, (Magnetic, belt drive) Comfortable seat. Very sturdy. It has that commercial bike feel. Can't argue with price either, compared to the upper end bikes. After all, this is for home use, when getting to the the gym isn't an option. Very easy to assemble. You tube has a great tutorial you can easily follow. It took me 30 minutes. This is a heavy bike. Some may need a helping hand. The ratchet handles for the adjustments are fine for me, however my wife wishes they were the knob style instead. ( good point), it would be easier for her, since we both have separate settings. The handle bar, I put my phone in one holder and water bottle in the other. We stream cycle class on our TV. The pedals aren't the greatest, but sufficient. You can tweak this bike how you want, considering the low price. Adding different pedals or racing seat, for example. During my research on home spin bikes, I read that Joroto X2 was runner up to the Bowflex C6. The X2 is less than half the price. There are many bikes out there. I always came back to this one. Great reviews. Very satisfied with the choice. Smooth quiet ridding. You won't be disappointed, in my opinion.

So smooth and quiet - I can hear how unfit I am at the moment!
After reading and watching many positive reviews of the JOROTO X2, I decided to take the leap and go all out with the JOROTO X4S. I felt that the X4S had improvements over the X2 and trusted that all of the goodness of the X2 would still be with the X4S which I feel that they are. I wanted to avoid a bike with the built in screen as I would prefer just to use my iPad, the X4S is well setup to accommodate this and it appears to be an improvement over the X2. The display shows the necessary basic functions and again is just a step up from the X2 display. In my opinion the X4S is a sleeker looking bike than many others out there, which doesn't help performance, but certainly helps if its going to be left out on display. The quality of the build and materials are top notch. The system is so quiet, the only thing I can hear is my racing heart and general lack of fitness (which I am working on). Assembly was simple and done in about half an hour - very similar to the YouTube videos of the X2. My dealings with Joroto via email were positive. At 6'2" I feel comfortable on the bike and there is still adjustment available (the kids were the last to use it which is why the seat is down). As somebody just looking to improve fitness and loose weight I find this bike perfect and great value for the money.
