I have never owned an electric blanket before this as I had safety concerns about them, hence why I bought this brand when I saw it on sale in the sales because it says it has safety features intergrated. It says it is washable, however one thing to note is that the manual states that it should only be washed a few times in its lifetime and spot clean in between. When turned up to the highest setting at first it seems like it does not give off a lot of heat, however after using it for the timed 180 minutes, the heat gets trapped under the blanket and I found it sufficient in January. The heat is a really gentle, even heat and I would really recommend this electric blanket.

Only used so far for one night in an upstairs attic flat when the outdoor temp w@s down to 1c no heating on .was drapped over a poor quality quilt ans was warm enough on the first heat setting of number 1. Tonight the temp is forecast to drop to -2 and will set the controller usersto 2.. the blanket feels. Plush and well assembled. Good stiching and sensible thickness plastic controller. Should last a couple of seasons. Pleased so far used again last night at zero and a freezing wind. What a god send this throw is. Sleeping well and waking up warm is great. If I get up during the night. I switch it off straight away then back on when I get back in bed. Resets the auto shut off for prolonged heat

Really pleased I made this purchase. I was doing a thorough research on Amazon when choosing which heated blanket to buy. This one looked very nice, was made in Germany by a reputable company (and not some Chinese factory) and comes with a 3 year warranty. I was a bit worried buying it after reading reviews where people said it wasn't warm enough, stopped working soon, only heats up in the middle etc, but I gave it a try bearing in mind the lengthy warranty. Really pleased I did, I bought this almost 3 weeks ago and it's been great. Heating: plenty of heat, it took quite a while to warm up when used for the first time but no problems ever since. When you touch it with your palm, it may seem like it lukewarm, but that's misleading - when you are under the blanket or have it on the back of your chair when working at a desk - plenty of heat to keep you cosy. Yes, sides don't have wires, it's about 15cm on each side from the edge but that doesn't bother me at all, I don't need the edges heated, but nothing like others have said it's only heating at the very centre. Colour & material - simply perfect, nothing else to add, really posh looking and feeling. Size: mine came a bit different sized than advertise: 174cm × 132cm. I'm 5ft6" so it doesn't affect me but if you are taller, bear it in mind. Economic solution if you want to save on heating! I gave it 4 starts as I feel I have to be very careful handling it as I'm worried it will break soon like it did for others but time will tell - atm it's perfect but will update my review as time passes.

This blanket is good quality. It is CE marked and feels robust and safe to use. It comes well packaged. I use it when I work in a garden office to save running the electric heater. It heats up quickly and keeps an even heat. There are 6 levels and level 6 is very warm. I find that 2-4 is adequate but the weather hasn't got properly cold yet! It is quite heavy and can slip off when you are sitting up using it. To stop it slipping, I fold it in half and put it around my shoulders, which may not be the best for the longevity of the cabling but works really well. There are smaller blankets on the market that might be better for use at a desk but as I also want to use it on the sofa when watching TV, I went for the bigger size. I am not disappointed and would thoroughly recommend.

So so disappointed, with this item, it warms up only at the centre leaving the corners old. and even at 6 it's barely warm like Luke warm. It doesn't heat properly. I'm very very disappointed

I loved this throw so much that I bought another one as a gift for my father. I thought it was perfect. And then it started being unreliable and working sometimes but not others. Then it stopped working altogether. I checked the warranty and I was just out of warranty (typical!) because I’m in the UK. If I was in the US it would be covered by the lifetime warranty Beurer offer. Not impressed.

Totally worth the buy and has been especially useful with the awful weather in the UK. It keeps me perfectly warm and an added bonus is that my cat loves it too! Would definitely recommend getting this blanket

I'm dissapointed after paying more for this heated throw blanket so as to have a second one while the other one I'd bought last year is in the wash and drying. the one I bought last year has 3 heat settings and was cheaper but heated up nicely and kept me at a nice temperature This one has 6 heat settings and on the fullest setting 6 it just did not heat up that hot just slightly luke warm. I am now going to ask for a refund

Je l'utilise a la maison pour me réchauffer et en mode cocooning. Différent pallier de chaleur. Et le top, il s'éteint après 3h environ. Donc vous pouvez vous assoupir sans stresser. Je le recommande, j'en ai acheté une pour ma sœur.
