Great device. Highly recommend
Car had a dead battery , Not for the first time as I barely use it. Bought this and it arrived the next day, despite not being a prime customer. Jump started my car without me having to charge the device first. It was really simple to use. I am really impressed with it. Only downside was the charging cable, I did not have a plug to fit it, But after a rummage through my cable stash I found one that fit it which had a usb end so I can charge it. Overall a very handy little device to have.

Quality well made product
small, light and compact. so easy to keep in your emergency bag in the back of your car. looks and feels like a well made quality product. came out of the box nearly fully charged so I have no idea how long ago it was made but by all accounts they hold a full charge for around 6months. charges with USB C and comes with a cable so can be charged in the car on a long journey. good value during the Black Friday deals. good peace of mind having it in the boot going into winter. cold weather kills batteries.

Needs a hard case
GB 20 review. Bought this as I have been using a cheaper unbranded unit , which failed to charge. The GB 20 is a solid bit of kit , used on a 1100 cc motorcycle and 1ltr car. The only issue I have which I don't think people have mentioned is that the light is easy to knock on by mistake when it's in the case , in the glove box it was repeatedly getting switched on , I noticed on several occasions when driving home in the dark the touch on in the glove box. It's now in a hard case in the boot which avoids this happening. It's worth the money and always handy, even if you never use it .

Excellent apart from one small thing.
As many other reviews have said, this is a well made, compact and lightweight booster pack that works extremely well. Honestly for the purpose of the occasional jump start it’s great and the connection cables and clips are very well made and the body of the pack itself seems extremely durable. The additional features of work and emergency SOS lights are also great. The only thing I cannot understand is why they used a micro USB plug for the charging input port. Micro USB is really out of date now, it can only be plugged in with the plug in one orientation, and in the dark it is hard to see this and they are known for being weak and easily damaged. On top of this, they have a very limited charging current which means the pack is slow to charge. Frankly this should have been fitted with a USB C socket to make connection easier, faster to charge and far less likely to get damaged. Otherwise, it’s a great device.

Disappointing start but managed to get it working
After trying again, I was able to get the device working to start my car. I suspect that there wasn't a good enough contact when I first tried and despite this, all signals seemed to indicate the device would work correctly. On my second attempt, I pushed the connector hard into the device and was able to get it a little further in with a lot of resistance and I also wiggled the clips around a bit on the battery terminals to try to get a better connection. This time when I turned the device on, I could hear it ticking occasionally and then I was able to start the car. Old review: Bought this so I could get my car to the repair shop for a replacement battery but it was not able to start my 2015 VW Polo 1.0L. NOCO customer support advised that the NOCO Boost GB20 I purchased must be faulty because it wasn't starting the car despite all indicators on the device being correct. Back to old faithful jump leads!

Worth Every Penny
It seems to be a universal rule that cars only ever break down when it is difficult to get anything done about it. I needed to use mine for a short trip on Christmas day. After clearing ice off the windows, I got in, turned the ignition and nothing but a clicking noise. No one available to help, so I was unable to use the car that day. Thinking on the problem, I realised that for the past few weeks I had been using the car for work with the lights, heaters, dashcam, satnav and radio all on, followed by 5 days of only using the car twice for 1.5 mile trips to the local shop. Having intended to buy one of these boosters a while back for emergencies, I ordered a NOCO Boost Sport GB20 from Amazon (the cheapest NOCO model because my car is only a 1.2 litre, so well within the specified "up to 4 litre" range. The product arrived promptly, but unfortunately comes with only about 1/4 charge. The manual says to fully charge before use, which I estimated at 3 hours given the USB charger I was using. After the 3 hours were up, I clipped the leads to the battery, turned on the unit, gave it 30 seconds, crossed my fingers and then turned the ignition - it started first time. I ran the engine for 15 minutes and will try the car again in the morning when I can give it a good run without needing the headlights on. If it doesn't start again then I have the booster ready in order to get it started and get to a garage for a new battery. I really wish that I had bought one of these a year ago (as I was going to do after helping a work colleague jump start his car). From now on, this is going in the boot of the car and coming out every weekend for a recharge, just because it will give me peace of mind. Compact and very easy to use. Really pleased with this purchase.
