Edit. Tried with our childs Kindle fire HD and it worked instantly and perfectly. Seems my Kindle has probably got a defective port, therefore 5 stars! I will keep the original review in as it may be a benificial diagnostic for anyone with KFHD experiencing the same problem! Came promptly, small enough packaging to fit through my letter box so no picking up from depot! Plugged it in to my Panasonic viera smart tv and... nothing.. un-plugged and plugged both ends of the cable and still nothing... then suddenly it worked, fantastic HD quality! Then I picked up my kindle fire and it went off, I have found once you lose the signal you have to unplug the cable and start again, you cant just waggle it to connect. So it seems the micro end of the cable does not fit snug enough to make a secure connection, it does the job but only if you have it working and leave it alone for say watching a film on Love Film, it's great for that but as soon as I move it the signal cuts out. Is it worth asking for a replacement? I dont know, because the build quality on inspection looks great, just beware with the Kindle fire HD.

I ordered via my phone for a mere £6.99 whilst I was stood in Tescos next to their version of the cable priced at £15 for just 2metres (about 6 feet)!!! I was even more impressed when I received this and saw that the quality of the cable is superior to the one in the shop as well. Plugged it straight into our Hudl and connected it to our 42" TV. The result was great. The kids love it. They can now see all their games on the big screen whilst playing on the tablet. Recommended to relatives and will be buying another one this week.

This is my third purchase of a BlueRigger Hdmi cable. Excellent value and superb quality. To anyone considering purchasing a hdmi Bluerigger cable, please do so. All 3 BlueRigger hdmi cables I have purchased have been first class and work - no problems whatsoever which is more than can be said for some 'Basics' cables which did not work with my Panasonic Viera. This item was purchased to connect my Asus tablet via its micro hdmi out to the Viera TV. Everything OK. No problems experienced with the sound (as has been reported by some people with Panasonic TVs on the net). So if you're looking for a cable that works this does! Really useful long cable, excellent for watching media off my laptop on the telly. Works well with no image or sound issues. One thing I have found annoying is the micro hdmi end is quite lose in my laptops port (lenovo yoga pro 2), not loose enough for it to fall out but on occasion if touched it causes the screen to be disconnected.

Good quality cable, however I had issues with the Surface 2. The Surface 2 has a micro HDMI output, however some cables will not work correctly due to the angle of the port. I picked up a Surface 2 the other day. Loving the tablet, except had few annoying issues. The first was that when I connected it to my TV via a micro HDMI to HDMI cable I picked up on Amazon here I found that it did not work properly. An LG TV worked fine, but a Samsung did not detect the input. It turns out that this is because of the angle of the port, and the fact that the cable needs to be fully pushed home to work properly. Once I worked that out, it was a simple fix with a knife to trim some of the cable shrouding off on one side, allowing the cable to push further in.

Very pleased, it does exactly what I wanted it too and gets us out of trouble if we are away and want to watch something downloaded, on Amazon or on Netflix. I was very dubious about whether this would work and read quite a few reviews before purchase but this works great. Only a couple of niggles: 1. The display size is a tiny bit off so it doesn't fill the full screen. I have tested on a Samsung 48, 49 and on a generic 32 tv display. It isn't a problem at all but thought it worth mentioning. 2.The sound can be a bit different, softer maybe, than if the input was directly on the display but again not a problem. Personally, as one reviewer suggested, I would try to select the correct input ready on the display and with the tablet already up an running(not on lock screen) then connect it. 3. The micro HDMI connector does seem vulnerable but this is mainly due to the heavy and very slightly stiff cable used. I would simply suggest minimising movement of the device once connected or risk damaging the cable or(more likely) the port to which it's inserted. Overall I am well happy with it especially for the price. I would both recommend and buy again!

Bought this for my Nexus 10, but beware, if you are considering doing the same, the micro HDMI is a slightly different shape and refuses to fit, so its going back.

La calidad del producto es correcto sin más. Por el precio que tiene, ya podrian haber metido materiales mejores, las cosas como son. El cable me llegó con un arañazo en la punta de un cable, pero no es ni grave ni profundo así que no lo he devuelto. Además no se si me llegó así o lo hize yo mismo sin querer arrastrándolo detrás de mi escritorio, así que por las dudas, me lo quedé. Hasta el momento funciona correctamente. Ningún problema. Me fastidia la calidad de los materiales, que la verdad se lo podían haber currado un poco, pero mientras funciona, todo OK

When I purchased my computer, I saw that it only had a micro hdmi port. With the need to present, I figured I'd have to shell out big bucks for a new cord. I ran across this cord and decided to give it a try instead of going for the expensive alternative at a local store.Blue rigger has impressed me with both price and quality. Here is my experience: The cord works as advertised and has continued to work over the course of the 6 months that I have owned it. It connects my computer to my television every time without any hesitation. The durability has been fantastic as the cord has undergone some pretty interesting shapes in order to make it plug in a way it wasn't necessarily intended to. The connectors hold firmly in the computer and the television and the ends of the cable have not even come close to fraying. Overall, the cord has and is continuing to work very well and has been a great buy. I will be looking to blue rigger in the future for my cord needs. You never know what kind of cords you will need in the future, they keep making everything smaller and changing them! I am happy with the product and I believe it is a cheap solution to any micro hdmi needs!
