I purchased the Mophie wireless charge pad for my wife's Iphone 8.The charge pad works great for my wife and she couldn't be happier.From time to time the original charge cord that came with the phone would fall behind the nightstand and we'd have to fish it out, which can be a pain, especially since she typically plugs the phone in to charge before going to sleep.Enter the Mophie wireless charge pad. I plugged it on and placed in on her nightstand so charging at night is now as easy as placing the phone on the pad and that's it.Some things we liked about the charge padIt's got some weight to it so it doesn't move around from the weight of the power cordIt charges the iPhone 8 with an otterbox defender case installedIt has a rubber coating on the pad so the phone doesn't slide off during charging.Phone placement wasn't rocket science....just place the phone in the middle part of the pad and it charges easily, even with an aftermarket case installed.It has a small, downward facing charging light on the base. It's on when the phone is placed on the pad and is charging. It's a nice visual indicator and we like the fact that it's downward facing and doesn't give off too much light while sleeping.I looked at similar charging pads that were cheaper in price but many didn't come with the power supply and had mixed reviews, I'm glad I decided on the Mophie as it's been great so far and it makes my wife's life much easier to just drop and charge. As an added bonus, I no longer need to move the nightstand before going to bed to fish out the old charging cable so it's a win/win in my book.

Nice charger! Almost 5 years and still going strong. Just set my phone on it, then grab it in the morning. Reliable and durable. Easy to set up and use. No more wearing charging port out. Can charge through almost any case. Great purchase

I originally purchased this in 2019 because I have always had good dependability with the Mophie Powerstation battery packs (which I still have/use). Like everyone else I wanted to have less charging cables crisscrossing my night table.I have had iPhones in a Otterbox Defender Pro series cases over the years. It has charged them with the case on with no problem. I’ve also used it to charge my iPod Pro/2 Pro. The only caveat that I’ve experienced it that you have to place it “just right” or will not charge. After I got used it it was no big deal to spare a few extra seconds to sit it for proper connectivity. It also comes with an attached non removable AC adapter so you don’t have to purchase one.It has served me well over the years. I noticed that it can get a little warm, but not hot enough for concern. Like with everything time takes its toll. It no takes a little longer to charge than it used to. Nonetheless that is not a real concern if charging your iPhone overnight or charging AirPods for an hour or so. I do recommend cleaning the puck once in a while as it can collect dust and such. This does impede the connectivity for charging.Overall it’s not a bad charger. However it is not a quick charger if that is what you’re looking for. It adequately does what it supposed to do. And still works after all these years.

Had one for years, bought this second one to put in another location. Works through most non-metallic/battery cases.Update: the second charging pad I purchased had the adapter or cable fail. There was a kink in the cable so that could have been the problem. Not able to check it though. I did verify with the first charging pad that the pad itself still functions. However the charger and its associated cable does not work anymore with either pad. I purchased a third charging pad of this same type, but it is not the same identical product. This updated version of the charging pad has a different power adapter which is rectangular instead of square making it easier to plug in next to other electrical plugs on a power strip. Another difference is the pad itself is considerably lighter and seems to have a different internal layout than previous versions. The plastic outer coating of this newer version also seems slightly different with a better & more grippy ring. The rest of the surface seems textured to be less prone to pick up dust and fingerprints. This product also now states that it is capable of delivering between 5 and 10 watts, whereas the original version had a maximum output of 7.5 watt.

I receive the free from Apple due to a customer service error but I prefer the style and shape of the mophie, especially as it takes up a lot less real estate on my nightstand where I have books, lotions, my desk lamp and all sorts of things taking up space. My first mophie charging pad worked great with the  Silk iPhone X Wallet Case - VAULT Protective Credit Card Grip Cover - "Wallet Slayer Vol.1" - Black Onyx  and the  iPhone X Case, iPhone X Edition Case , Matte iPhone 10 Case Cover Non-Slip Shock-Absorption Bumper and Anti-Scratch Clear Ultra Slim Case for Apple iPhone X (Clear)  but when I got a new case from Moment, it had a lot of trouble connecting and charging. I'd wake up and my phone wouldn't be charged at all. I'd spend up to 15 minutes trying to get it just right. Moment suspected it was the charger and they were right, the replacement worked just fine.After using the Mophie and the Belkin, I have to say one thing I appreciated about the  Belkin BOOST UP 7.5 W Qi-Certified Fast Wireless Charging Pad / Wireless Charger Optimized for iPhone X, 8, and 8 Plus  and the  Wireless Charger, Belkin BOOST UP 5 Watt Fast Wireless Charging Pad / Charging Base for iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 8 Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+/S7/S7 Edge/ S6/S6 Edge/S6 Edge+/Note 8/5, Google Nexus 6/5/4 and other Qi-enabled devices  was how obvious the charging light: a little circle that lights up if your phone is charging. This is hidden in the mophie, it's not raised and unless the surface of wherever you place the wireless charger makes it obvious, it's hard to see the light in the dark on my nightstand.

Works great with my iPhone 8. I read a lot about how much slower wireless charging is compared to wired charging, but with the faster 7.5W charging, I don’t find tit all too bad, especially if I just need a quick drop, charge, and grab and go, or charging overnight.The charging base has a nice weight and quality feel to it. The all over TPU surface, top and bottom are grippy, so not only does the phone stay in place when charging, but so does the charging base as well. Not too big, which is perfect for a night table. I also like that it has a relatively low profile. It has a single small white LED on one side. The LED is small and dim enough that it’s not obtrusive when sleeping at night in a dark room. During charging, the phone and base gets only slightly warm. When fully charged, but phone and base are cool to the touch, so the charger appears to be smart enough not to overcharge and fully charged phone.Compared to many other wireless chargers, this includes a cord and wall plug - just add phone!

On apple’s recomondation I bought this one from amazon. Awesome packing by the seller and comes with very well packed from the company as well. Works very well fast charging even with the case on. But costly but worth it coz I don’t want to take chance with iPhone X

Although there are other wireless charging products for the iPhone 8 and iPhone X, I recommend this product as it is Apple optimized and 100% Apple compatible. Some wireless chargers are not compatible and with the prices for these types of products, it's better to not take the risk and pay more for a device that is guaranteed to work with your phone.As for charging, the device works very well and for the most part, connect to your phone, thanks to its decent sized charging surface. However, keep it mind that this is 7.5W and may take awhile (or even just as long as it would take to charge with a traditional charger) to charge the device.
