Post Box Game

This is a lovely idea for a game but the quality is so poor. The cardboard letter boxes barely stand up and constantly fall over. Disappointed tbh!

Another brilliant game from Orchard Toys. This one is very simple - post the letters through the right colour post box, or turn all the letters face down and take turns picking letters for your colour post box in a classic memory game. The game is designed for younger children of 2 plus and would probably suit some even younger children. My 2 and 4 year olds really enjoy it. An idea to raise the action is to place each post box in a corner of the room, give each player a pile of cards in the middle of the room, and have a race as to who can post them all first - my kids love this rowdier version! Only down side is the construction of the post boxes which fall over easily.

Great toy, have bought for my own child and then again for a gift. Simple game that really helps with colour recognition, motor skills and few wee extra details on the letters and post box to encourage conversation. My wee one loves this, can set it up around the downstairs to get him moving around. Handy game to travel with, and is good for toddler to play on own or with others.

Good game for colour sorting & sturdy once set up but its annoying to have to set up the postboxes each time when a toddler is impatient. But my kids love posting through. The cards all have cute addresses on.

It is a fun game… and reading the reviews here, I think I had way too high expectations from this.. educationally & in a fun zone way too! So I finally decided to buy it for my 2 year old son who is a bit too mature for his age. lol We received this, and the standup postboxes weren’t standing up well, kept collapsing with the slightest touch, so you can just imagine the scene of these toddlers with their heavy & unsteady hands. Besides the quality of the postboxes, the game is fun! BUT I felt it was more of a one time play, that’s all. There are more options and ways to play these, but I felt soon as we finished trying it out that my 2 & ½ year old toddler boy wasn’t keen on playing this again anytime soon. It could be down to how flimsy the postboxes were hence the whole time he would put a card through them, he knocked them over by mistake and had to try standing it back up, and more likely running over to me every second to put it straight or just walk off since these little monsters lol, don’t have any patients in them. The value for money, I believe, is not really there since looking at the quality and how much or how long this game can keep my little one occupied. - this might just be because it kind of gets a bit repetitive very quickly for them maybe. Other than this, I think this game is more of a hit and miss, so maybe give it a go, try it out for sure, and make your final thought on it from there! I bought this for my 2 year old as he loves posting things and was starting to learn colours. He does enjoy the game and likes to play it with the whole family and can also play it happily alone once it has been set up. You can play as a memory style game where you have a colour post box each and have to turn over the correct colour letter, or you can use as a sorting game. The pieces are made of thick sturdy card and are good quality. The game is easy to set up but also easy to accidentally knock over. It's a good tool for teaching colours, however, if you're looking for a game specifically for that purpose then I would recommend Red Dog Blue Dog, which is also made by orchard.

My 2 year old has never played games before. We’re a family who enjoy our board games and games nights so we wanted to get her something age appropriate that we could play with her. This fit the bill and I’m so glad we bought it. We’ve had hours of fun with it. Such a simple concept but well made and fun for toddlers. Highly recommend.

It kept my son interested for a couple of plays but wasn't great. Ok for a holiday or to leave at nanny and grandads house

Bought this for my Granddaughters 2nd Birthday. She loves it and is learning her colours fast. What is good about it is she can play it by herself .

Little too easy for my 2.5 year old

Le jeu est super mais l'emballage etait nul. C'etait envoye dans un sac qui n'a donne aucun protection, donc le carton etait tres abime quand il est arrive.

Gioco carino che piace molto ai bimbi di 2/3 anni (non troppo piccoli ma neanche grandi altrimenti sia l'uno che l'altro si annoierebbero). Sembra una scemata.. invece no lo è affatto! Anzi é utilissimo x il coordinamento oculo manuale, la comprensione dei colori e la turnazione "tocca a me"/"tocca a te".
