It's okay but could use a reworked design. UPDATED* Couldn't see the light at 600mtrs
UPDATED*I've reduced to one star as the light is not that good at all after 6 months of use.Changing batteries every time i use it has become a real nuisance, and very expensive both cost and environment. The light booms out at the tail end and is fine for exchange work but the other day we couldn't see the light in a node 600mtrs away. This light is no good for my job.Massive change in opinion for previous review which i've left below.Likes: The light is nice and bright, it's a massive difference to our work stores issued item. I'd say the visual range is around 7k.Problems with it: It runs on two AAA batteries. New high power barriers last about 3hrs, that is all. The other problem is the buttons, they are very easily pressed in. If you keep it in your pocket, you'll find it's dead everytime you come to use it.You can easily go through 2 sets of batteries per day.If they make an upgraded version of this, that runs on AA batteries, and change the buttons to something else, like countersunk or a slide switch, I'd give it five stars.Cheers

Poor Quality
We’ve bought these for the last year or so. They’ll last about a month and then stop working. The male ferrel inside the unit will become loose and won’t output any light through the LC connector it comes with.Only putting a negative review up now as the last two we’ve used have only lasted a day each.Very poor quality. Do not purchase.
