Kapitan Toilet Roll Holder, Stainless Steel, Self Adhesive OR Screws Mount

I had the benefit of a "handyman" to fit out my bathroom; he commented that he thought the quality of the Kapitan items was excellent and that in particular the way that the fittings were affixed was far better than what he usually sees with bathroom accessories. I am very pleased with the look of the items that I have purchase which include a toilet roll holder, holder for a spare toilet roll, soap dish, and mug/glass with holder. The only issue I have is that on removing the mug from the holder, the protective plastic ring intended to minimise risk of damage to the mug/glass does not stay in place, and comes away with the mug/glass. I bought two of these holders, and the same issue occurs with both; so, have removed the protective plastic and am using this without it.

I used the adhesive to fix the toilet roll holder to the wall. If you follow the simple guide that it comes with, you'll have a brilliant holder. Have your hair dryer ready and don't rush.This toilet roll holder endured three little children who every now and then used it as a grab or armrest and after years (purchased in 2018) it's still mostly firm in place. I have to turn the arm (of the holder not the children) up by a few degrees after it was pushed down, but the base seems to have become one with the wall. Without using any screws, just the adhesive pad.If it would get worse with the arm, I could probably unscrew the base cover, get a hex key (if I remember correctly) and tighten the screw. It's not worth it yet. The play is less 5 degrees or so.No rust or discolouring despite a teenager turning the bathroom into a steam room regularly.I'd recommend this to anyone who's happy with the round design.

Next day delivery, easy to install (used the self-adhesive option) - seems sturdy enough for everyday use although a touch lighter and a little less sturdy than expected. Then again, if I wanted 100% sturdy and for it to last for decades I'd have purchased an antique holder - since I'm renting, this does the trick and looks neat and fresh without spending a fortune. Recommended.

This is a really well made loo roll holder. I've fixed it using the 3M adhesive pad, and it seems incredibly well fastened - can't see it falling off any time soon.I wonder if the people complaining it wouldn't stick actually followed the instruction? It's very simple - clean the tile with glass cleaner then an alcohol wipe, then heat the area with a hair dryer for 2 minutes and the pad for 15 seconds.Then leave it alone for 48 hours before attaching the holder itself.Love it so much I'm going to buy some of the other bathroom fittings.

Lovely looking item, seemed good quality. Fitted with provided extra strong sticky. Stayed in place for one month, impossible to fit with screws. We have just thrown this in the bin.

Ordered this for my new bathroom, thought I would have to wait to get someone to drill tiles to fit this on, but it had a self adhesive pad on the back, you have to make sure you put it on straight the first time because those pads stuck fast, have really pulled on it and it didn't budge, so easy for me to fit on and it looks lovely, would recommend this product.

We needed a holder to go in the all tiled bathroom and wasn't keen on getting a drill out. I fitted this myself and it was very easy, has stayed put for nearly a year now. If it does fall down I don't doubt that it will just go back up pretty easily. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't want to get any tools out!

This item is a basic toilet holder, it looks good and does the job. It is easy to install, and that's coming from someone who has poor DIY skills. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is I have a slight doubt about how robust the holder will turn out to be, but time will tell on that point.

Estupendo...tal como se describe. Volveria a comprarlo. Tiene un pegamento(pegatina) trasero por si no tienes q hacer agujeros. Yo aproveche uno de los agujeros anteriores y con el pegamento ha sido suficiente. Queda muy fijado al baño.
