This tastes really good!

I purchased a specifically for my husband due to a recent require change in diet. It’s extremely low sodium. The quality seems very good. I’m not sure yet about the value for the money. The ingredients are very clean. It’s easy to use although because I haven’t seen this type of can in a very long time it took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to get it open. It is a bit more on the expensive side which for the cleaning ingredients I don’t necessarily mind, but I’m need to test in a few more recipes before I decide.

Very nice product especially for people with cholesterol that try to avoid fat at any cost, and avoid monosodium glutinate something that is not good for the human body , at list my body .

Im only giving this product a 3 because it is full of nothing but chemicals and sugary substances! Now if you're ok with that, this has a great taste.

I've seen a lot of recipes/cooking videos in the past several years that call for bouillon as a flavor enhancer in soups, sauces, braises and so on. But the first time I saw this was in a paella recipe from a friend in Spain way back when I was in college. Being a fairly cook-from-fresh cook, I ignored her. What can I say? Sometimes I can be one of those people who always knows better. ;) Most of these recipes have been from outside the U.S. However, no reason not to learn from other cooks. It's like people who cringe at making Chinese Sweet and Sour Pork with a ketchup base -- common throughout Asia and with Chinese home cooks here in the U.S. It guarantees great flavor and repeatable results, just as adding something like this to recipes makes them just a bit tastier. I initially ordered this planning to use it for just that purpose. The fact that it was salt-reduced appealed to me even more -- if I want something salty, I'll eat potato chips. When I got my package and sat down to read the label...you do that, don't you?...I was a little unsure when I saw that there was no actual chicken in it. Would it taste weird? Artificial? Then I opened the container and took a sniff. It was hard to believe that there was no chicken involved. I made just a tiny cup of "broth" with it, just to be sure, and it was great. Score! I not only add a pinch or two to amp up the flavor of gravies, soups and sauces, but I've made an onion soup mix with this and dried sliced onions which makes a dip every bit as good as French's original, if less salty. I also add a little to a seasoning mix I use for chicken. That's gotten a lot of compliments from people who can't believe how good my chicken tastes. Griiin. Even if you're not vegetarian/vegan, these bouillon and seasoning granules belong in your kitchen.

Makes a very tasty drink. Find the reduced salt version is more “chickeny” than the regular one. Just wish it was a bit cheaper………
