Windproof Men's Fleece Jacket Full Zip Work Tactical Military Hoodies

This is a brilliant bit of kit, very warm and comfortable. Loads of features that make this extremely practical such as zipped pockets in the arms, ideal for a torch or key. The neck zips up with an additional height which acts like a snood unlike other products the fit is perfect without choking around the neck when fully done up. The hood is also a great fit with an additional peek at the front to give extra protection in the wind, sleeves are also a good fit without being restrictive, there’s slots where you can slide your thumbs to keep you hands warm without needing gloves. I drive a lorry for work this is the perfect garment to keep me warm and comfortable, unzipped while driving then done up with the hood and thumb slots while out on the ground with just a vest underneath, this has done me very well in the freezing conditions. Has Velcro patches on the arms for patches I like to where a Union Jack on mine, a good choice of colours mines green and looks great.

I’ve been wearing this TACVASEN windproof fleece jacket regularly for about a month now, mainly for dog walking and clay shooting, and I’ve been really impressed with it. It’s surprisingly warm for a fleece and works perfectly as a mid-layer or as an outer layer when a full winter coat would be overkill. The fit is spot on — not too tight, not baggy — and it allows good movement, which is exactly what I wanted for outdoor activities. One of the standout features for me is the number and placement of pockets. There’s plenty of storage without it feeling bulky, and everything is easy to access. I also really like the thumb holes, which help keep the sleeves in place and add extra warmth on colder days. The hood is excellent — the small brim makes a real difference when it’s windy, especially as someone who wears glasses, as it helps stop the wind hitting your face directly. It’s not waterproof but dries quickly. If I’m being picky, the only minor downside was that it arrived vacuum-packed, so it had a few creases at first. That said, after wearing it a handful of times they’ve mostly dropped out on their own, and it didn’t affect the comfort or performance at all. Overall, this feels like a well-made, practical jacket that’s designed with real outdoor use in mind. I’d happily recommend this to dog walkers, outdoor enthusiasts, or anyone needing a warm but not overly heavy jacket. It’s been ideal for my shooting days and general outdoor use, and I’d definitely buy it again.

Great fleece hoody! Thicker fleece than the Baerskin, which is much hyped & three times the price. It has a long back with a drawstring to keep your bottom warm, as well as a two-way zip that zips right up to your chin. The only reason why I've given it 4 stars is that the hood is a bit too large, and with no drawstring it blows off your head when walking into the wind. Also, the zip pocket on the upper left sleeve is too small for even my relatively small smartphone. Still love it though!

I needed a warm jacket to wear. This does the job. It keeps me warm, fits well & is good value for money. I've only worn it a few times but is appears reasonably durable. The zip doesn't get stuck as it does on cheaper jackets I've bought before. Overall a good quality jacket.

Well made ,fits well and keeps you warm,pockets are massive

Sent the first one back as my normal size L was too large so ordered a M which is better. I've been looking for a fleece which is green to blend into nature while doing wildlife photography. Colour: Unfortunately this green is a little on the bright side. I might have to wash with dark colours and hang in the sun to dull down the loudness of the green. It's not too bad, but could be better. Function: There are many pockets, all with zips. Two at the rear which lead into the same big pocket, like a mini ruc-sack / ones on the sleeve which were big enough to take my Android phone, lens caps etc, and pretty big ones where you would put your hands to keep them warm. These ones were a little too high for my liking, making it uncomfortable to keep your hands in them for any length of time. I also thought I found two inside pockets, and dropped my phone into one, only to see it come crashing out the bottom onto my tiled floor. Turns out that is part of the outside pocket and not an actual pocket. The main zipper is a two way zip, meaning it undoes from the bottom as well as the top. Not sure why this would be needed and it makes getting the zip on a little tricky as you have to pass it through another zipper. I did find myself using it after pulling the elastic cords to tighten the bottom, making it an elasticated fit round the waist. It is useful when visiting the bathroom to unzip it slightly from the bottom if you have trousers without a fly. The hood is a little cumbersome, as it has a peek, which I like when I'm using it on my head, but when it's down it can feel a little rigid and make the hood look awkward, unless you bend it down. I also think the hood is crying out for a cord to pull through it. It feels strange not having one and on cold days you can't pull it tight round your face. There is a chin protector which stops the zip rubbing against you, which is good for this, but does get in the way when not used sometimes, as it flaps around. Quality: Oh dear. It is like it started off with good quality in mind but whoever finished this garment forgot to tie off and clip the ends of all the stitching. I had to go round nearly every seam (and there are many with all the pockets) with a lighter to singe the ends, so no stitches would unravel in the washing machine. Aside from this blunder, and some dodgy surging along inside pockets, it is nice material. Warmth: I found that without a cord through the hood, my neck was a little cold on cold days, and I was putting the hood up to stop this. I also found that when you generate your own heat and work hard, it's not long before your arms are sweating. The arms feel warmer than any other part, possibly because of the pockets all over them. Summary: All in all I am happy with the product, even with the caveats, and will use out in the field photographing wildlife.

Love this hoodie, this my second one, had the first one for about 5years, nothing wrong with it just wanted another one in a different colour for Airsoft as I like to wear the other one all the time. Extremely warm and wind proof even in minus temperatures. Fits true to size. Easy to wash, breathable, I tend to double with a micro fleece underneath and it's warmer than a lot of coats I've owned and much lighter. Overall I couldn't recommend this fleece enough.

Cette polaire en laine synthétique certes pas très épaisse tient bien chaud mais taille un peu grande. Pour les sorties en montagnes, nature, chasse etc... difficile de faire mieux par rapport au prix. Si jamais je l’abîme pendant une sortie ou quoi que ce soit et bien pas de regret. Une bonne polaire de terrain. A noter que le SAV Tacvasen a été très réactif car ma première polaire était un peu trop large, j'ai donc demandé si ils pouvaient m'envoyer la taille en dessous avant de renvoyer l'autre pour être sûre. Il m'ont envoyé la deuxième sans hésiter, reçu en moins d'une semaine.
