Is this suitable for watching tv subtitles?

That is one of the reason why I bought this gadget. I have problems with my eyesight and in the evening when in bed I can't read TV subtitles well. This gadget is not very helpful in this regard. Its field of vision is too narrow and its focal length to flat. This means that with a large TV set only a section of the subtitle line can be focus on at the time. Furthermore, the gadget itself blocks the rest of the image. For static street signs and titles, however, is very useful.

can you wear glasses?

I wear glasses and I didn't get on with it I also found that the light level was poor and the field of view was not very good. I would not recommend it.

Can you wear spectacles when using the monocular
