Why are they so marked up in price from the retail cost of $7.99? Is price gouging a legitimate strategy at utz?

Absolutely NOT, but if you think about adding up 15% of marketplace fees and 5 lbs of shipping fees and shipping supplies cost with labor and add up your $7.99 each product cost( this is two units).amazon market place is providing convenience for customers but value wise I will suggest you make a supermarket run.
