Pretty rock solid. I am using this as a router for my zigbee network on Home Assistant. I used the company's web flasher to reflash the firmware to be a router instead of a coordinator and then added it to my zigbee network. It was a pretty easy process. I have this plugged into a surge protector that has a USBA port on it, in an area where I don't have many routers but a lot of end devices. I had a device that would not respond often before adding this, but now the device has been very responsive. The only entities this exposes is transmit power (-20dBm to 20dBm). It has been a nice addition to my zigbee network.

Used it in a Zigbee config for a HomeKit server; I love it! required some troubleshooting, but it took about a day to set up. PLEASE UPDATE THE FIRMWARE IF YOU'RE HAVING ISSUES. That solved a few problems of mine that would've taken hours to diagnose. Otherwise, great product and goes well alongside a Raspberry Pi. The range is good, as it can go through a floor and a few walls. But I haven't tested it that much. It's also cheaper than other options out there, so that's nice.

Worked first time for this amateur using Home Assistant with Docker on Ubuntu. Connected to multiple devices easily.

I bought this when I upgraded my home assistant system. Figured I would go from a cheap conbee II controller to one like this that had the antenna. Tried to order the sonoff brand, but wasn't available. I figured since this looked the same it would probably be just as good. Boy was I wrong! Plugged it directly into the usb3 port of my RPi and had issues connecting to devices, only to find out that usb3 interferes with zigbee. So why are these marketed as usb3? Got a shielded USB extension cable and ran the dongle a couple feet from the Rpi. Was able to connect to all my devices fine so I thought problem solved! Nope. For days I would wake up to different devices having fallen off the network. Devices which were within eye sight and less than 10 feet from the antenna would not connect until removed and re-added to the network. Devices in the attic, thru 3 walls and 2 ceilings had great signal and seemed stable. I moved the dongle to several locations, making sure to put as much distance between it and other interference sources, nothing helped. I searched forums, messed with network settings, reset the entire network several times. Nothing helped prevent seeminly random device drop outs Finally, out of frustration, I plugged my Conbee II dongle back in (which has no antenna, is usb2 and is the size of my pinky finger). After removing the old controller, and adding my devices, all my devices show fantastic signal and I've had no devices go offline for several days. Unfortunately I had already discarded original box for this dongle, so can't return. I guess I'll give it to the kids to play with, cause otherwise this is useless. Maybe the sonoff brand is better, but for now just gonna stick with my cheap conbee

I've purchased this Zigbee dongle twice now for two separate Home Assistant installations, and it's absolutely flawless. The range is incredible, easily handshaking and covering my entire 4000 sq. ft. house despite the dongle being placed on a far edge. I run it with Home Assistant on an UnRAID server and have experienced zero issues—it's rock-solid stable. If you are looking for your first or only Zigbee controller, I highly recommend this one, great value for the money.

funciona con home assistant y raspberry pi 5, pero hay que actualizarle el firmware para que funcione con zigbee2mqtt hay una web para esto y se puede hacer directamente desde el navegador. quitando eso, todo bien. los sensores que tengo han sido descubiertos enseguida, pero tb hay que tener en cuenta que los dispositivos que van solo con pilas pueden necesitar algun dispositivo repetidor en el medio si tu espacio es muy grande. en mi caso los sensores de la terraza, dos plantas más arriba no llegan a conectarse (aunque esto ya es más bien un problema de los sensores, no de este dispositivo) en resumen, todo bien. una estrella menos, por tener que actualizar el firmware manualmente.

Funktioniert mit Home-Assistant / Zigbee2MQTT / Raspberry Pi 4 völlig problemlos! Wunderbar stabil; man vergisst, dass das Teil überhaupt da ist → so gehört sich das.

Worked will with my Home Assistant setup (PC). I used an extender cable to move the antenna slightly away from electronic devices to avoid possible interference and all is good. Automatically detected by Home Assistant and was able to control my Zigbee compatible devices easily.
