being a NINJA myself i had to get these boots the seller is very good and quick, the material is very strong, the only problem I have is the size im a UK 7 so that's what I ordered, but they were to small and tight ive tried to find a size 8 but no joy, so I got a size 9 knowing they would be bigger on my feet, but thought the socks would make them fit ok the 9s were way to big even with the socks im going to get another pair, but this time a 7 and a half, as there isent a size 8 I hope they fit me, all in all a very good strong TABI boot light weight and very comfy id recommend to a friend

Once you get used to doing up the clips, these are really comfortable. They have tremendous amounts of grip, and the thin soles keep you in contact with the surface. Not great for cross country running I would suspect, but that is not what they are made for. I bought according to the EU sizing, and they fit exactly, although I feared at first that I wouldn't be able to do up the tops because my calves were too big. But with practice, this is not a problem and I can use the 2nd or 3rd level of tightness (out of 4 available).

these are my first tabi boots, very comfortable, very secure. the firm is in japan, and poatage was very good, i had mine delivered 4 days from ordering. will go back to this firm for more stuff

A bit tight getting heels in initially but ok when on. I did order a half size larger than say shoes would be and this paid off with a snug fit. I did have socks on. If you had to wash the tabi, not sure what the shrinkage would be. Probably wouldn't bother washing them. If you're not used to metal hooks, it may take a little while to become fully proficient. Overall, they are well made and solid. I shall be using hem for training, mainly in the summer I suspect, so cannot comment in that respect just yet. Overall they appear great.

These are so neat to wear around the yard. Slap some insoles in them for padding and they are great for all day comfort. Note: have to be a little creative with the scissors for the insole but not that difficult. Fit was great. Just follow their sizing guide.

I find the wearing of these type of shoes (Tabi) are pretty good - mostly in training for Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu class -. I am impressed that these actually fit the ankle/Achilles tendon area well (normally with the Velcro ones it can be baggy). This is partially due to the tabs that have 3 or 4 rows for varying tightness. I have very strong calves and the ability to adjust the tightness around the ankle and yet widen it for the calf is VERY NICE. I'm not super crazy about the rubber soles, but I couldn't find the flat bumpy bottom style in stock. I can see me using these for quite a while. The seams are double stitched and not coming loose after a week or two of training, so I'm feeling pretty good about that. AS ALWAYS - I highly recommend taking the insole out of an old pair of shoes, stepping on it, and then tracing and cutting out the shape of the tabi. Once placed inside the tabi, it seems to make the wearing of these significantly more comfortable for longer periods of time. On other tabi (especially the soft indoor type) they can slide and roll on you... placing an insole inside seems to lock it into place, and you do not lose any feeling with the ground- as long as it's a soft insole... but outside, rocks and sticks are WAY LESS problematic when running and jumping! These aren't the HIGHEST quality outdoor tabi because of the style of outer sole, but, they'll do for quite a long time. All in all, I'd say I am very pleasantly surprised with the quality, the speed of arrival, fit and comfort of these tabi. I still would not recommend using them indoors because the rubber soles are quite grippy... especially noticed while applying ashi sabaki during techniques!

I was a little wary when I ordered these, because I have wide, flat feet, so ordering shoes on the internet might not work out as well since I can't try them out, but these fit quite well. I wear a size 11 and 1/2 wide so I wasn't sure what to order so I got size 30(12 US), and it worked out great. More than enough room for my foot. Semi-fast shipping, awesome product. Comes with a free bag too. If you have money. Buy it.
