Trusty Little
I purchased this trimmer in spring 2026 and so far am impressed given the affordable price point. I have a smaller yard, and the battery holds a charge through many mows. I like the easy adjustable height (I'm short) and pivoting head that makes switching from trimming to edging a breeze. No gas or cord, and it's really lightweight! So far, 2 thumbs up.

Less than 10 minutes, And I ain't the most experienced.
The accompanying photo shows what I did in less than ten minutes. I was surprised that it tore into the grass so aggressively. Altogether, I trimmed about 60 feet of well established overgrown edges. I was then confused as it stopped. I thought the motor burnt up. After several attempts to get it to go again, stupid me, I realized the battery needed to be charged. I do have some excuse as I just started attacking some of the weeds against the fence and the motor did have a good test. The machine adjusted easily and quickly. It felt very natural in may hands. Unfortunately, as with most tools, it did all the work and I did all the sweating. Why is that so. I was surprised at how the string held up. I was afraid that I should have ordered more string, but from the looks of things, the ones supplied will last a couple of months. The battery lasted about 40 minutes. As I said, the machine did have a major workout. In some regards, it might have been better if I got a more power but maybe not. I suspect that once I get the edging under control, it will be more than up to the job. I guess working on the edging 30 minutes at a time is more than enough for this 78 year-old. I might add as a cautionary note, it is always a good idea to wear protective glasses. In this case it is particularly true. If I had not been wearing eye protection, I just might have ha to take a trip to the emergency room. I noted that my glasses did get hit two or three times. WEAR EYE PROTECTION.

Meh (updated)
update: battery life is horrible. after 3rd cut i cannot do entire yard anymore. after running out of string, auto advance doesn't work anymore. I use 65 with so maybe that was wrong. however, this is minor because I can't remember a string trimmer, either electric or battery where the auto advance works still good as an edger. Original: I bought this item because I'm cheap so price was the number one driver as background 54 male 260 lbs. The first time I used it was a little awkward because I was used to my Sun Joe which I loved but couldn't find a new spool cover, for the second time I've used this it was much better and having it at a 30ยฐ angle was a godsend and it did such a great job, so much better than 45ยฐ angle. this has plenty of power. the string that came with it was better than expected. it's an incredible edger and will dig deep if not careful. although the wheels that come with it to help with edging set it too high for me, but that just might be personal preference. the string feed is very conservative and there are times that you need to self-advance it depending on what you're doing, but around a chain link fence. it's it's wonderful. the flower guide I think would be better if it was underneath the spool instead of on top of it for edging at least, but that's a minor minor thing. overall, this is a great buy. the battery life and charging time is respectable.

Worse then using sizzord
What a joke. Not recommended. Had to hand feed the string. String broke on each use. Could have edged with sizzles faster. Thrown in the trash.

A robust wireless edge trimmer.
I love everything that Greenworks makes. The idea of doing all my lawn work without being tethered to cords or having to deal with gasoline and those pull cords is a joy. The battery charges fast and easily lasts for the entire time I'm using it. The quality is excellent also and I just dig the aesthetic of the products they make. Highly recommended.

Green works two and 1 trimmer and edger
This is a good weight for me, And that was the main reason I got it , I haven't quite figured out yet how to get it to cut right when on the wheels for edging by my drive way and sidewalks it doesn't want to go through the grass very well even after the grass has been cut at a 2 1/2 to 3in height so guess practice will help Never had this problem with my husband's Stelth weed eater , and also the auto line feeder is not working I have to literally take the spool out and redo the line myself so that is another reason I gave it only 3 stars and I bought the extra spools that already has line on them from Green works and still it doesn't work using, that is so aggravating when you purchase a tool, you expect to get what you order to work as described !! And if you have more than a 30 minute job to do you best buy another battery cause they take a while to recharge. The power of it is good just the battery runs down fast , I was going to send it back but wanted to give it a fair chance because I have some health problems and auto immune diseases that effect my muscles and so had to go lighter and was so excited I found this one but wish I had went up a grade higher maybe I would not have so many issues. I read the whole Manuel and put the trimmer /edger together step by step, but still the auto feeder doesn't work Correctly ๐๐
