Can I place dough I've prepared myself in the machine?

In my experience the answer is "No". The preparation of dough and its extrusion as pasta is a one continous process. The extrusion begins even before the dough "forms". It actually only forms very loosely. I have not tried putting dough in the machine. Has anyone successfully made gluten free pasta in this pasta maker? I saw gluten free flour at the stores and was hoping to use this to make noodles.

Just tried it tonight, following advice to reduce liquid slightly. Used chickpea flour, water, and egg, and we were very happy with the results.

Can I use dishwasher to wash it?

All your Philips pasta maker's accessories and all detached parts are dishwasher safe.However, based on user experience, Philips always recommends washing parts by hand quickly after use whenever possible since this would help maintaining their optimal endurance over time.

Is there any update on when more discs will be available for the compact model? I got this as a gift and was hoping there were more discs
