Gorgeous - strong and salty
I love it. Worth the price as even this small pot goes a long way as just a meagre spread on buttered bread is needed. Often now seen in my sandwiches. Interestingly it seems to be more of a man thing than a taste for ladies (purely from my own family and work colleagues observance). Apparantly was originally sold as a delicacy in ceramic pots, but these have turned into white plastic look-alikes. Don't be deceived by the pot size - its got a rounded bottom! Intriguing thing to open though!

An Old Winner.
I knew my husband liked this but he hadn'nt eaten it for years. Well does he love it, an old favourite, old he may be [ my husband], but I have today received my third order. It is a VERY specialsed taste [like Marmite]

Cracking stuff, but watch the best by date
Haven't seen this in local shops for ages, so pleased to see one seller able to sell a single tub, not 12 of them! This is a great product, and I am once more enjoying it , applied very sparingly on hot buttered toast. Highly recommended BTW why am I asked to rate it's Warmth? August 2024 bought another one, but disappointed to see the best by date as December 2024. That is a bit too short.

A true breakfast treat
Nothing takes you back in quite the same way as taste and smell. I loved this gorgeous relish right from Childhood (I'm in my sixties) This excellent treat with good toast and a cup of tea throws me right back to my youth. A real treat.

Yummy
This product is more Marmite than Marmite! You either love it or don’t. I was introduced to it by my late father and have always been hooked. Getting hard to find in the shops so thank goodness for Amazon. By the way , the portion is tiny as the little tub has a false bottom. But it was always thus..

Appearance does count!
Arrived in good time as promised. Since I wanted it as a gift, was very disappointed that it came with a sticky label on the top which is very hard to remove. There was already one on the side, so why on top as well? Really spoils the appearance and why was it necessary?

Nice alternative to marmite or jam on your toast
Great on hot toast. The taste? Powerful, bit salty perhaps. Its like marmite in that you will either love it or hate it.

Arrived within 24 hours. I have eaten two helpings already ( on toast ) and thoroughly enjoyed. Just the right spreading consistency, and the taste - just as good as I remembered. I shall order some more. Val
