Do not waste your money absolute rubbish it only just about cuts a piece of paper does not do what it says its small aswell so disapointed and mislead do not buy

These clever 'scissors' came wrapped in cellophane inside a colourful box, so would make a handy, cheap, present for someone - or a great raffle prize etc. You can also use them yourself, lol. There are no instructions inside the box, but there are six small pictures with suggestions for use, on the outside of the box. These are not really scissors, as such, as scissors have two blades - this gadget has one blade that cuts downwards onto a sort of long narrow chopping board. What's nice about the gadget is that it is quick and easy to use for cutting smallish items of food that you'd normally cut or slice on a chopping board, with a separate knife, such as potatoes, tomatoes, radishes, cucumber, apples and other fruits etc. In many cases these 'scissors' are safer to use than a knife and a board because there is less risk of cutting a finger, as often happens when a food item rolls as you cut it, the knife slips off it - and you slice a finger instead. The only problem is that some raw foods like potatoes are quite hard to cut, and an older person with arthritic hands could have a problem squeezing this 2-in-1 gadget hard enough to cut through. I love the shape of the handles which are covered in non-slip, soft grip, silicon. They feel very comfortable in the hand, which is great if you have lots to cut. The handles should also help those with stiff finger joints, and carpal tunnel syndrome, etc. Shape-wise, and with their safety lock and spring mechanism, they somehow feel a bit like secateurs to use. It's great, too, that they are dishwasher safe, and can be hung up in the kitchen, instead of taking up space in an already over-full cutlery and utensils drawers - useful too to keep in a caravan etc, where space is limited. And probably best of all.... they are not expensive.

This product is okay for chopping spring onions, celery and little items but definitely doesn't work on foods like tomatoes, oranges or onions. Abit pointless. Abit useless really you just end up using a sharp knife x

Absolutely don't know why I never bought these before. My arthritis can make cutting the simplest of things near impossible. These can sometimes be tough to close but that's due to my issues, I'm impressed. No more do I have to clean the chopping board and knives each time I cut something, and chase carrot slices across the worktop. This is my new go to! It has it's own built in chopping board so you can cut anything and it doesn't need to be over a pan, cut and go! I use it when i cut chicken, or other meats as using a knife is difficult- not with these! Even if you have nothing wrong with your hands or joints, but you cook a lot, seriously get one of these- you won't regret it. Makes mealtimes so much easier and faster!!

Ich koche gerne mit dem Wok, un da gibt es immer einiges zu häckseln und schneiden. *Einsatzbereich: Nunja, ich benutze den Gemüseschneider zum schneiden von Karotten, Auberginen, Spitzpaprika, Chillischoten usw. Das klappt mit dem Gemüseschneider wirklich gut und man kann direkt über den Topf bzw. Wok das Gemüse hinein schneiden. *Vorteil: Die Küchenplatte ist meistens sowieso schon mit allerlei Utensilien belagert und man spart sich das Schneidbrett. Weiterhin hat der Gemüseschneider eine wirklich große schneidöffnung, sodaß auch Auberginen oder Gurken von dem Gemüseschneider gut erfasst werden. *Lieferumfang: 1*Gemüseschneider 1*eine kleine Kurzanleitung 1*Halterung aus Plastik zum ankleben z.B. an die Wand *Optik/Haptik/Verarbeitung: Für den Preis gibt es nichts zu meckern. Der Gemüseschneider liegt gut in der Hand, der Griff ist aus gummierten Plastik. Die Klinge besteht aus rostfreiem Stahl. *Resumee: Ein brauchbares Utensil wenn man Platz sparen und schnell arbeiten möchte. *TIP: Der Gemüseschneider arbeitet nach dem Amboßprinzip und ist keine Schere. Für 'knackiges' Schneidgut ist der Gemüseschneider eine echt gute Wahl. Für weicheres Schneidgut nehme ich aber lieber eine Schere. Z.B. bei Wiener Würstchen und Fleisch...diese lassen sich aufgrund des Amboßprinzips nicht komplett durchschneiden und es bleibt immer noch ein Rest hängen, welcher nicht komplett durchtrennt wird. *Ergo: 5 Sterne von mir. La forbice rientra secondo me in uno di quegli oggetti della cucina che si possono considerare utili ma non ovviamente indispensabili. Si può prendere semplicemente un tagliere ed un coltello e fare le stesse cose ma alla fine, dopo il suo utilizzo, mi posso ritenere soddisfatto. E' davvero comodo per tagliare rapidamente a rondelle quello che desideri e diciamo che il suo pro è che sporchi solo la forbice e puoi comodamente tagliare in diverse posizioni (magari tagliare a rondelle e farle confluire direttamente nella pentola) senza doverti per forza appoggiare ad una base. La lama fa egregiamente il suo dovere e per il costo posso dire che è davvero un buon prodotto. Se d'interesse un like per aiutare anche gli altri nella scelta del giusto prodotto.

Did not work for what I wanted it to work for. Raw carrots it worked fine rest not so much. I threw it in the bin.

Bon appareil, facile d'utilisation

Reçu à la bonne date, conforme, je l'utilise pour couper tous mes légumes même les carottes et navets, la viande... J'ai des soucis avec mes mains et cet outil est formidable, pas besoin de forcer, facile à utiliser, à démonter et à nettoyer.
