“Red Hot? That’s the profile title we’re going with?” Newly-out firefighter Red has a pretty average life—a job he loves, supportive friends, big dreams, and a little trouble finding a roommate. That is, until he rescues a slightly odd computer nerd from his burning apartment building.Andy isn’t just any computer nerd. He’s the computer nerd who single-handedly built the up-and-coming dating app, M4M. Until now, Red’s been afraid to put himself out there—but with Andy as his new roommate, he’s not going to have any choice. Andy needs a test case, someone to prove his matching algorithms can find anyone the perfect partner. When he discovers that Red’s never been on a date before, Andy makes him his pet project—he’s going to find Red the man of his dreams, whatever it takes. The only problem is that Andy is the man of Red’s dreams, and Red can’t bring himself to face the embarrassment of telling him—after all, Andy isn’t interested, right?Little does Red know that Andy’s been thinking the same thing. If only his algorithms agreed… Red Hot is a standalone gay romance with a HEA and no cliffhanger. It does, however, contain several terrible jokes, stress-induced baking, a string of weird dates, explicit sex scenes, and a Dalmatian called Spot. Review: Excellent - So glad Red rescued Andy meaning they could find each other and love each other for ever even if the M4M algorithm didn't match them to begin with. Review: Really enjoyable low angst read - I really enjoy this authors writing style and the stories are always interesting with great characters a good storyline some drama and lots of love and affection, and this book is no different. Red is a newly out firefighter who has never dated men before. His luck changes when he rescues a man from a fire ridden building and ends up at his doorstep after answering Red's ad for a roommate. Recommended Andy lost everything in the fire but is glad to be alive. He wants to thank the firefighter who saved him and is unaware that the same firefighter is the one advertising for a roommate. Sparks fly but neither man is brave enough to admit to the attraction that is forming between them. Both men are perfect for each other, now they have to realise it themselves. Recommended.

Andy falling madly in love with his guinea pig
One of the main characters is a firefighter... what more could you want? This was a really cute story idea with Andy using Red as his guinea pig to see how his new app worked in the real world. What could really go wrong with that plan? Oh yeah, Andy falling madly in love with his guinea pig. It was a great read.

Sweet and simple
A very sweet and simple situation comedy type romance that missed its mark with me on almost every count. There is nothing to offend and little to recommend, other than that it is very sweet.

Nette Geschichte.
Hat mich jetzt nicht völlig vom Hocker gerissen, aber die Protagonisten waren witzig und "speziell" (hätte man noch ein bisschen besser herausarbeiten können...) und die Lovestory einfach herzerwärmend und natürlich!

Another wonderful story from Sean Ashcroft!!
This is a very sweet story. Andy is saved from a fire by Red, a firefighter who recently had come out and hasn't had a boyfriend at the age of twenty-three. Andy needs a place to stay and Red needs a room, so Andy moves in. They quickly become friends, because Red gets Andy's sarcasm and Andy thinking that Red is the sweetest man he's ever met. And because Red saved his life, Andy feels as though he owes Red, although Red doesn't see it that way. Andy is an app developer who gets lost in his work and is although he makes excuses that his relationships have failed because he's too busy, being with Red makes him realize that working is a choice and so is giving his attention to his romantic interests. But Red wants a boyfriend and feeling that his app can help Red and believing this is the perfect way to pay Red back for saving him, Andy keeps pushing him into dating men he matches with on his app, all the while devastated that his app says he and Red have zero capability. When he sees his ex, Andy kisses Red and that one kiss changes their relationship. I loved this story; how Andy's self-image changed because of Red and realizations that he's not the jerk he thought he was and Red becoming the sweetest boyfriend to Andy and how supportive Andy became of his dream of going back to school and supporting him in his career as a firefighter.

So Nice
I’m finding in-between international cyber thieves, child trafficking and various types of murder and physical abuse....not to mention the general menacing, brooding and smoldering I’ve encountered in M/M romance literature of late— it’s so nice to have a safe harbor for uncomplicated love to blossom; or relatively few complications barring the way to HEA for our intrepid MCs. I’m always down for a hot ginger fireman/nerdy but hot software designer mash-up for a nice beginning of Fall relaxing read! Goes well with a nice hot Earl Gray with a bit of lemon.

Cute but not riveting
This was cute, but lacked a lot of the suspenseful tension I think make romance novels worth reading. The writing is good, it's just kind of meh in terms of the romantic plot. The characters are likable and there is some struggle between them, but it's not enough of a struggle to keep me all that interested. I finished the book because like I said, the characters are likable, but there's just not a lot here to keep you riveted. I read this on a Sunday on my couch with a cup of coffee, and I wasn't mad about it, but it didn't inspire that "happy they finally got together" feeling that I enjoy about romance novels. If you have unlimited, I don't not recommend that you read it; but if you have to buy it... I would probably just pass, unless you're looking for something that's not all that complicated and isn't going to play with your emotions..in which case this is the book for you. And hey sometimes that's the perfect Sunday morning read :D ::My star rating 1-Garbage 2-Didn't like it 3-Good Book 4-Wouldn't return it, worth it, re-readable, and might actually buy a hard copy and put it on my shelf 5-Phenomenal, glorious, the writing gods smile upon this one and I own the physical copy

I am a sucker for Sean's book and always enjoy them immensely and Red Hot is no different
I am a sucker for Sean's book and always enjoy them immensely and Red Hot is no different!! It's an engaging love story between Red and Andy. Each one with their own struggles trying to find their place in the world but also in each other's arms. My favorite was the dialogue between them each being socially awkward in their own ways, but how the other saw that as their strength. Sean has once again knocked it out of the park!!!! And I highly recommend this book and others by Sean!!!!
