I’ve tried several whey protein powders over time, and this one has shown the most noticeable results for me. Compared to others I’ve used, I can clearly see better muscle development when I’m consistent with it, which is why I keep coming back to this product. Taste‑wise, it’s not the best I’ve ever had, but it’s definitely pretty good and easy to drink, especially mixed with milk or in a smoothie. For me, the results matter more than perfect flavor, and this delivers where it counts. Overall, it’s a solid protein with real performance benefits. I’m very satisfied and would recommend it to anyone focused on results.

I purchased the chocolate flavor. I slam this stuff at the gym right after my workout. It is Satiating to have after my workout while sitting in the massage chair. It has a great taste like chocolate cake. If my gym bottle was a bowel, I would find a corner to hide in so I could lick the bowel. It is YUMMY. Love this stuff.

Heh. I saw the reviews and decided to try this brand. I tried the Blue Raspberry and it was probably the most vile disgusting thing I ever had but still better than the Muscletech stuff. I mixed in two scoops and shook the bottle but those clumps would not disintegrate at all. Hmmm. I looked at them and added a little more water and shook harder but yep, they remained. I silently cursed and thought this stuff is too damn expensive to toss so I flipped my bottle open and began to swill it down. I got about halfway before my gag reflex kicked in, man this stuff had a bite like some type of venom! I pinched my nose and went back to chugging away. The more I drank the more I felt like Dr Jeckyl turning into Mr. Hyde! This stuff was strong! Like some type of Donkey Punch! But surprisingly it was very easy on the gut! No bloating and bubbling at all! I powered through my workout and it felt like I was being fueled off empyrean fire! I finished my workout and later evaluated my stomach. Still no slithering snakelike bubbling like Muscletech so I side-eyed the bottle and thought I could take another scoop for post workout. The bottle seemed to mock me. Maybe it was my imagination, maybe it wasn't. Anyway I put another scoop in the bottle with water (which is the worst by the way) and slammed it. It felt like the cheapest most revolting and nauseating shot of whiskey I ever had but still great on the gut and it actually felt like it was working right away. In closing, it is not the best at taste but I have grown to like it now and it's so easy on the gut it's now number 1 for me. Uh...as it exits the body it seems to be irradiated. Like nuclear waste. And it' s kind of flourescent. That is all. Buy it!

By itself the flavor is tolerable but I would definitely not say it’s tasty. Add peanut butter and the flavor is much better. Quantity for price is good, specially if you’re looking for dairy-free protein. I can’t have gluten or dairy and this protein sat very well with my stomach.

I don’t write reviews often, but this is one of my most repeated purchases on Amazon. I’m always seeking good protein for protein shakes, but struggle with the aftertaste of many of them, which I found was most or all dairy-based protein powders. This one is absolutely incredible, especially in chocolate. I do prefer to use a ninja blender instead of a shaker bottle, but it is a staple of my day every day. I would blending this with milk as the closest you can get to the taste of a very popular ultra filtered milk brand.

I’ve been a bit of a gym rat over the years — on and off, never quite as consistent as I’d like (working on that for my 2026 glow-up 😄). And in all that time, I’ve tried a lot of protein powders. Let me just say this upfront: there is a MASSIVE difference between this one and the rest. Here’s why. This is a true carnivore beef isolate. It’s just beef protein — no lactose, no weird fillers, no mystery ingredients I can’t pronounce. And my body can absolutely tell the difference. First of all… it actually tastes like chocolate. Not fake, chemical, “why does this exist?” chocolate — just normal, pleasant chocolate flavor. Second, it does not make my stomach bloat. And that is huge. Every other protein powder I’ve tried with all the additives? Instant bloat city. And if my stomach is bloated while I’m trying to get strong and toned, that’s not going to work for this female — especially when you’re nearing 50. Let’s just be honest. This one digests beautifully. No discomfort. No heaviness. Just clean fuel. My go-to: One scoop in my Bullet blender with a banana, peanut butter, or whatever berries I have on hand — and boom. I’m full, satisfied, and my body is actually breaking it down instead of fighting it. Now, the only thing I’ll knock a half point for (but not enough to drop a star): The container is HUGE… and it’s only about halfway full. I really wish they’d package this in a bag instead, because it feels a little silly. But that’s packaging — not the product itself. Bottom line: If you’re sensitive to dairy, tired of bloating, want clean protein, and actually want something your body likes — this is it. I’m super happy with it and will absolutely keep using it.

I really wanted to like this protein. Up until Carnivor I have only used whey isolates and this was different so I wanted to give it a try. I read most of the reviews here and read a lot on other sites. I knew going into it that it might not taste all that good but the gains would be worth it. Well I've used it straight for 7 days now and I can say confidentially that this product makes me feel sick to my stomach after drinking it, rendering me on the verge of vomiting for several hours after. I will be trying to get my money back, but will not hold out hope for that one. Taste: Out of the dozen or so flavors from different brands I have tried, this one is the worst or next to the worst. Chocolate is one of the primary flavors of protein shakes, and if you cannot make a Chocolate flavor good you are doing something wrong. The actual flavor is hard to describe, there is a hint of chocolate followed by burnt toast, and that smell of when it is just about to rain, but in taste form. lol I've tried adding up to half a liter of water to the bottle to see if I can thin it out and just chug it down. That does seem to help but it foams voraciously. Which leads me to. Mixing: I have a regular blender bottle with a spring ball. After a vigorous shaking the bottle will be full with foam which is hard to drink and leads to the unpleasant after effect of burping up that lovely chocolate/burnt toast/almost rain flavor. It seems to mix fairly well; I didn't notice and chunks (thank goodness), just a lot of foam. After effects: I got past the taste but, like I mentioned above I felt queasy for an hour or two after. I'm glad I was taking this post workout because if I had done it as a pre-workout I can only imagine how much worse it would make the workout. After seven days of taking it I have not seen any gains and or fluctuations in my strength or body composition. If it didn't make me feel so uncomfortable I'd give it a longer chance but this experiment has been long enough. Conclusion: I wanted to share my personal opinion because everyone is different and someone out there may very well like the taste and have tremendous gains from it. My hat is off to you gentlemen that this works for, but for me Carnivor is a bust. I will be returning to whey protein which agrees with me better. Lessons Learned: When in doubt buy the smallest container!

My favorite product in this world! I purchased like TEN bags .. if not more of this product. I can honestly say that this is the most consistent product in my diet for the past 10 years. Great protein content, and has a great value for the money. The flavor ( chocolate) is my favorite. Great texture and taste ( I use plant based milk and blended in a bullet). Has a bit of clumsiness if mixed with water in a shaker ( If let to sit a bit after clumsiness will dissolve). The most I love about this product is the fact that I have ZERO gas pain ( abdominal pain) after this! I purchased MASS carnivore for a higher calorie intake and Carnivore LEAN Mass for lesser calorie! I will purchase this forever!!

È la prima volta che acquisto delle proteine di manzo, ero preoccupata perché avevo letto che in genere non sono facilmente solubili e hanno un cattivo gusto. Queste proteine al cioccolato hanno un sapore gradevole, per scioglierle per ora ho utilizzato un frullatore, e dell'acqua calda, con l'aggiunta di un cucchiaino di cacao amaro, sembra di bere della cioccolata calda. Al momento non ho notato problemi di digeribilità. Consegna puntuale e perfetta come sempre.
