These are old-school kind of yummy. You know they’re a little bit expensive but they melt in your mouth and they’re a good value. The freshness was great for these. I had read other places that they didn’t come fresh but these were definitely good. Of course they’re gonna be sticky in your hands and the color was right like chocolate is supposed to be. I love these things and I could eat all of them in one sitting. They’re just different than any other chocolate. They remind me of a carnival on Coney Island.

These are my favorite chocolate treat of all time. They are best when you keep them in the fridge. They become soft so fast and that melts chocolate is delicious. I don’t know what is so different about this chocolate but it is literally the best.

These ice chocolates are one of my husband's favorite candies. But you can't buy them just anywhere. A little pricey, but nice to be able to get them for a special occasion. This Christmas gift was gone by the new year! Silky smooth, curiously cool, delicious chocolates!

I have very fond personal memories of these chocolates that relate to my dad who passed away several years ago, so I had high hopes for bittersweet nostalgia when I ordered them. The packaging was pristine and the chocolates themselves were delicious! Exactly as I remember them, and exactly what I hoped for when I bought them. People who give these a bad review have clearly never had them before and don't know what to expect. They are called ice cubes, so they are meant to melt. That's one of the reasons they're so good, because they just melt in your mouth. So if you order them in the middle of summer, yeah, chances are pretty good that they're going to melt in transit. That's why I ordered mine in January. And because they are already so naturally melty, the wrappers might get a little wrinkly if the packaging gets a little smushed. The wrappers would get this way when purchased in a store years ago too. And they are going to feel a little greasy because of the melty nature of the chocolates themselves. Again, this is how these chocolates have always been, years ago when bought in a store. None of this means the chocolates are inherently bad and deserve a 1-star review. I also can't figure out the reviews that claim these have a grainy or gritty texture. Did we eat the same chocolates? Mine were wonderfully smooth and melty, just like they're supposed to be!

These are called 'Ice Cubes' for a reason: they have a VERY low melting point. Unless shipping conditions are ideal (at no time is the product exposed to anything above, say 75-ish degrees), these are going to arrive 'damaged' which means they will come misshapen with greasy wrapping. They are a high-fat chocolate chocolate, and that fat separates and melts out first onto the wrapping and kind of congeals there. The texture is effected, yes, but even with some of the fats separated and soaked into the packaging they are still pretty darned good and close to the incredibly yummy chocolate that I remember selling at school as an annual fundraiser. I've ordered these three times because I've not seen them in any retail stores (candy or otherwise) for decades. Only once did they arrive in top-shelf condition. I'll probably order again sometime in the future for the nostalgia of them. They are just that good! Just know that THEY MELT IF YOU EVEN BREATH ON THEM. : D
