Universal Bike Kit

This is great, I use it on my mountain bike. I got this to replace another type of holder that didnt work so well. This stays put when we go off road across bumpy fields and tracks. It feels very secure and at the minute I only have the elastic band holders as waiting to secure it fully with the zip ties provided. The only part that needed adjusting for me was the holder wouldnt adhere to the back of my phone although it is glass and it does say it might not stick to it very well. I just bought a very cheap matte case and have superglued the holder to that and just remove it when I am not using the bike.

Like another reviewer, I followed the instructions to the letter, but the peel 'n' stick pad would not stick to my phone's case (and yes it was a smooth clean surface). I therefore pulled all the sticky material off the disc, and stuck it straight on to the case with superglue instead, which worked fine. The mounting block is a bit tricky to get in position, but once in place it is firmly fixed by very strong rubber bands and cable ties. Phone now easily locks in place with a 45° twist. To unlock, pull down the locking sleeve on the mounting block, and twist the phone back through 45°. With the adhesive problem resolved, this is a great piece of kit. However, having to faff about with superglue costs it a star.

The quad lock is solid. Keeps the phone in place and also really easy to take off and on. As it’s the cheaper model it can be a bit tricky getting it off when you’re sweaty, if I was to but again I’d probably get the one with the quick release.

Great bit of kit, I managed to go straight over the handle bars and the phone didn't move an inch. I have however used thicker cable ties due to my larger diameter tube but the quad lock is very good at what it was designed to do.

I followed the instructions and used the kit's cleaning pad to clean the surface of the poly-carbonate case and used a pair of clamps to hold the adaptor in place to ensure a good bond. It came unstuck 40 mins into first ride with the resultant damage shown in photos. Considering the price, I was expecting a better design. It cames supplied with four rubber bands to fix phone to handlebars, but longest were a struggle to fit. Only redeeming feature is that the Quad-lock connector is easy to use and seems secure, although it doesn't look durable. Quite expensive for a few pieces of plastic.

Does exactly as it needs to. Only down side is sone times it spins a little on the stem over rough turaine not really an issue tho. The tie wraps mean it carnt be pinched too so good point there

As the attachment for the phone was greyed out in the illustration I also ordered one of those, which blew some extra $$. But I will no doubt find a use for it. These things are solid, I cable tied and used the rubber bands to hold the bracket on my bike.

Très efficace pour le vélo ou tout support cylindrique. pas super pratique pour ce qui est de la bague à tirer pour retirer l'attache mais très au moins ça ne bouge pas. Pour l'instant l'adaptateur pour support universel tient bien et n'a pas l'air de se décoller.

ロードバイクでサイクリングの際使うため、前までは別の携帯マウントを使用してました。ですがそれがあまりにもガタガタでいつかぶっ飛ぶでないかと心配で仕方ありませんでした。 それに比べてこれは完璧です。走行中にガタガタとすることもなく、ビタッと固定してくれてます。ロードバイクだとそれなりの速度が出るのですが、高速域でもびくともしないので安心です。 耐水性、耐久性に関してもそれほど気にするところではないと思います。

Excellent product, highly recommended. I tried a few other "universal" phone holders and they would not hold anything: any bump in the road and the phone would move and become unusable. The clamp mechanisms would routinely hit the phone's side buttons (volume, power or other) and essentially make the entire set up unusable... Not true with the quadlock kit. It is simply amazing. Installation is easy and straightforward, and it stays put (which I had doubts about when installing it). The universal kit includes an adhesive plastic piece to be stuck on a case or directly on the phone (probably wouldn't do that). That implies already having a case for your phone that you don't worry about disfiguring. The adhesive piece is rather large and makes the case thicker. My approach has been to switch case depending on usage (one for riding, one for everything else). You can also buy a case specifically for your phone from quadlock (limited to iphone and galaxy devices), but they are rather pricey and somewhat bulky. Bottom line, excellent product, highly recommended!

I bought this for attaching my Google Pixel 2 onto my bike, and it works perfectly! The item took a while to ship and reach me, but once it did I had absolutely no complaints. I bought a second case for my phone aside from my every day use one, and I stuck the adapter to that. The adhesive is seriously high grade stuff and it bonded instantly. There's some bend to the adapter as well since I didn't put it on a completely flat surface but it still molded to the case. Now I just pop my phone into that case whenever I'm about to bike! I've gone on several very long bikes with this and I've never once felt a danger of my phone detaching. The whole thing is very sturdy. What really sold me on it is that it's very low profile. A lot of the universal adapters I saw were quite large and really cumbersome when the phone isn't attached. I just leave the bike mount on even when I don't need to attach my phone, and I barely notice that it's there. Overall, I definitely recommend this product! I've already gotten a ton of use out of it and it's hard for me to think of a thing I'd improve!
