what's the tyre pressure it doesn't say in the instructions

Sorty i csnt give a psi reading as i use a simple hand pump until 'firm enough' but depends on the weight of your load. A degree of give is a good thing as it acts as a buffer/suspension. I wouldn't attempt to make the tyres rock hard. Hope this helps a tad :-)

Is the connector a ball joint? If not can I attach one to it?

It's not a ball joint. It has a spring that gives movement from side to side. Very easy to attach to bike.
