Pretty quiet, reasonably low profile and does the job! We bought two more to replace two of the same brand that we fitted in 2018. I'm not sure what life expectancy they should have?

Straight replacement for a similar unit which failed after a few years! It is quieter compared to the old one and hopefully it will last a few years!

First impressions not so great, the box was battered and opened. Upon inspection the fan itself seemed ok and no obvious signs of damage etc. first off I did notice that the finish on the plastic wasn’t that great and the circuit board hanging off. Fitted all good, wired in all ok, comes preset to the lower setting (15L), just move the little jumper across the pins to make it 21L but I don’t think we need that in our little bathroom. Takes a couple of seconds to come on when you put the light on. I turned my dial down to overrun for approx 10 minutes after the light goes off. The fan is quiet on the lower setting for sure so that’s handy in the night when I accidentally turn the light on The wiring is live, neutral and trigger/switch. Overall happy enough with it; our old one must have been 10-12 years old and boy did it show its age. The new one does look more modern and clean

Quieter than my last Xpelair fan (which failed after year's worth of heavy daily use in a downstairs toilet), even in full power mode (there is a jumper setting for two power options). Instructions were a bit confusing as it suggests the DX100BTS has a humidity sensor and adjuster on it, which it doesn't. Was easy to fit although I was replacing pretty much like for like.

direct replacement for existing fan which has succumbed to wear and tear after a fair bit of use, it was still very functional but not as quiet as when originally installed a few years ago. I'd removed and thoroughly cleaned the original one several times and will do the same with this replacement, it only takes a maximum of an hour, it's not difficult and well worth the effort in my opinion as they do become gummed up with the inevitable grime (damp dust within a bathroom environment).

Just what I wanted and once fitted, works as it should. Easy to setup for short or long duration overun to rid the room of malodourous smells.

Works well looks ok and is reasonably quiteThe large ballast resistor that will get hot, which is a waste of power and does not fit well on the pcb well the pcb holes for the resistor should be the correct pitch and ceramic spacer to support the resistor spacing it away from contact with the pcb should have been used, sloppy engineering. The cover clip looks like it will be difficult when I need to remove it for cleaning dust accumulation on the fan. Also as the release clip needs to be accessible from the side, this reduces fitting positions making it difficult to align the cable hole with the existing power cord. No doubt when the unit fails that large I’ll fitted resistor will be the reason, before the fan bearing will give out. Which should not be before 10 years of use.

Bought at a very reasonable price, however it hasn't lasted very long. After just two and a half years it started to play up, the slight delay in starting, which is normal, became longer and sometimes wouldn't start at all, and occasionally would just stop working. As the average life of a fan like this is supposed to be ten years, this hasn't performed well at all. However, that said I have ordered an identical replacement mainly to make replacement easy. Hopefully this one will have a longer life span!

He cambiado el ventilador del retrete de mi habitación porque se oía desde la cama y molestaba. Este tiene un clip para cambiar la potencia, la más potente hace poco ruido, unos 26 dB, pero la más suave, que para mi es suficiente es muyyyy silencioso, tanto que a veces parece que no funciona, je, je. Me costó un poquito encajarlo en el agujero, va muy ajustado, pero entró. El único pero que le pondria es que no se enciende immediatamente sinó que tarda 4 o 5 segundos, no se porque motivo, entonces si es de dia y quieres encender el ventilador tienes que darle al interruptor y esperar esos 4 o 5 segundos.

A la segunda semana empezó a hacer un ruido francamente insoportable y así empeorando consecutivamente, vamos, que te vuelve loco! Evidentemente es un producto mal fabricado.
