Roll up and seal
Let me tell you why these vacuum sealer rolls are a game-changer: Durable Plastic: The plastic used in these rolls is like a superhero cape for your food. Seriously! Itโs thicker than a suspense novel (3.5 mils to be precise), which means it can withstand the test of time and the rigors of the kitchen. Whether youโre sealing up a juicy steak or a batch of garden-fresh veggies, this plastic wonโt flinch. Itโs like the Chuck Norris of food storage materials. Preserve Flavor and Freshness: You know that magical moment when you take a bite of a perfectly cooked meal? These rolls help you lock in that flavor. No more sad, freezer-burned steaks or wilted greens. Your food will taste as fresh as the day you sealed it. ๐ฝ๏ธ

Performs as expected
I received the package on time, as promised. The roll is too big to fit in my FoodSaver device, but duh, I expected that when I ordered a 50' roll. I used the core from an old roll and split it in half, making two rolls out of it. The only differences I noticed between this roll and the original FoodSaver rolls are: 1- This one doesn't have the white area to write the date and contents on the sealed bags. My Sharpie had no problem marking elsewhere on the bag. 2- The plastic film is a little thinner than the original, which doesn't seem to affect it's sealing ability. Leave enough slack to make sure the bag doesn't wrinkle on the sealer's edge, and prevent the seal area from getting wet or greasy, by folding over a few inches before loading the bag. If done properly, it won't leak. Bottom line is, I got very good product at a discount price, delivered as promised. I strongly recommend it.

Perfect for vacuum sealing large items (like 11-pound ham) for sous vide
I purchased this specifically because I needed a vacuum bag large enough to fit a 10-pound ham for sous vide prep and the FoodSaver brand only comes in 11-in max width rolls. I messed up my first ham because I didn't have the right bag and did a DIY hack with a turkey roasting bag that leaked water into the bag during the sous vide prep. This Vac Fresh 15-inch wide bag was perfect. It fit my 11-pound ham perfectly! I've attached photos here of how you can seal the corners and cut off the excess to fit the FoodSaver vacuum seal machine.

VERY PLEASED with the results using these bags. HUGE cost savings over manufacturer bags. Just don't seal a Swordfish in them!
I purchased these thinking I would roll the dice on them given the price point of the genuine bags and hopefully they would be passable. Much to my delight these held up better than I expected and in the end I ordered the larger ones as well! I will be adding photos of measurements but they seem to actually be a hair thicker than the F.S. bags and seal and draw suction just fine. I put irregularly shaped articles in them to see how they would vacuum down around them. They did fine but don't take my word for it see the photo I took after a week sealed in the bag. Given that that food vacuum sealers are supposed to save you money it amazes me that the manufacturer of the device seems to want half of there projected savings in bag expenses! These are an awesome alternative to higher priced bags! Given how much I liked these I just ordered the 11" as well so now I have 200 feet of bag material for less than the cost of one pack I buy that isn't even 1/2 that much. I don't do much boil-in-bag cooking so I can't comment on that use case but they do claim you can freeze, microwave or boil in them. **The one point I will caution on is these seem to possibly tear more easily than manufacturer bags. The reason I put it that way is that I rolled the end of a bag to keep the ends clean while filling it a couple of days ago and when I unrolled it I noted a slight split on the open edge. I didn't think I was hard on it but nonetheless it was torn. I think for most applications you will be quite happy but if you are sealing needles, scissors or a swordfish watch out! ;)

GREAT PRODUCT
I was very skeptical of an off brand bag because I had tried to use other off brands before in my food saver system to no avail. I was very pleasantly surprised and totally satisfied with these bags. A little unhandy to cut but I always make my bags larger than needed in order reuse them a second and even third time that also saves in cost. When you package 6 to 10 deer and 200 lbs of walleye, salmon and perch fillets every year anything you can do to cut cost is a help.I use the 11 inch bags for laying fish fillets out flat and 8 inch bags for processing deer and other large game. These rolls are a lot more economical and just as strong and heavy as the regular food saver rolls at about 60% of the cost. If you can satisfy my cheap rear end anyone should be satisfied. Thanks for a great deal Keith West
