Imperial Death Star Manual: DS-1 Orbital Battle Station

Bought this as a gift for my husband who is both a Star Wars and Haynes manual fan! Had a quick flick through and it seems perfect as a novelty gift. Great price too in comparison to other manuals. If you've ever bought a Haynes manual before then you'll know the level of detail that goes into one, and this one doesn't disappoint in the slightest.

I bought this as a gift for my son who is an avid Star Wars fan. It is exactly as you would expect from Haynes that is both entertaining and informative. On reflection, I think I probably thought this as much for me as I did for him.😊

A must-have book for Star Wars fans

Images are a bit grainey because of the age of the movie but there are some very cool schematics to make up for them. Recommended.

Quick delivery and the book is In excellent condition. Bought as an Xmas gift, but had a quick look through and looks very informative. If you know your way round a Haynes manual, then this will be right up your street.

Great Star Wars book contains lots of photos of the Death Star inside and out, some I have not seen before. I found it very interesting to read. Maybe only for big Star Wars fans.

I've got a couple of the Haynes manuals and they are generally excellent and this is no exception. It's a book full of facts about the Death Star (as you may expect!) but also other areas such as trade federation ships, stormtroopers and adds an extra dimension to the book. Each page is in full colour, with multiple photos or diagrams. My favorite was the elevation plan that show every single level on the Death Star - very detailed! It's a great book to either sit and read or to simply dip into. It adds a lot to the Star Wars universe and is good value for what you get

This is an absolute must for any Star Wars fan! Good, detailed info as with any haynes manual and, i'm sure my son will be more confident in maintaining his death star now he has this book.

I grew up in the 80s and started driving in the late 90s. My dad always had a Haynes manual for his vehicles and I was given one for my first few vehicles from him. Slowly I shifted to google for my vehicle referencing needs but the brand was ingrained in me for its thoroughness. Now I have a kid and he LOVES Star Wars. The Death Star manual was an absolute hit!! The tradition for the manual has changed but the gesture lives on for my family. My son (12yr) loved it because of its realistic nature and breakdown of pretty much everything Death Star related. There was information about Tie Fighters as well, which led to the purchase of THAT Haynes manual as well. It's a glowing rave from my kid. We all agree, at least in my house, this book is awesome.

Great gift for a family member that is a Star Wars fan. He thought it was cool. I’m a car nerd so was cool in my opinion. Love the old guy that worked at the Lego store, he had some in the store one day and I knew it would be the best gift.
