Autoglym Rapid Detailer, 500ml - Car Cleaning Spray Restores and Protects Exterior Bodywork, Paintwork, and Surfaces

I’ve used quite a few detailing sprays, but Autoglym Rapid Detailer really stands out. It’s incredibly easy to apply – just spray on and wipe off – and it instantly brings back that fresh, glossy finish. I mainly use it between washes to remove light dust, fingerprints, and water spots, and it works perfectly without smearing. It leaves the paintwork feeling smooth and adds a noticeable shine without being greasy. It’s also great on glass and chrome for a quick refresh. A little goes a long way, so the 500ml bottle lasts longer than you’d expect. If you like keeping your car looking clean and well-maintained without doing a full wash every time, this is a brilliant product to have on hand.

Not bad, almost like the aqua wax but without the cloths package, so a bit cheaper. Smells the same and makes a nice job of cleaning the car if it has mild dust and dirt. Not any good for heavy dried dirt or squashed bug's (just needs a bit of water to get rid of that) but dust its good for cleaning off. Good sized bottle. Used for my car today, and it is better than aqua wax, as you can spray this on plastic, windows, tires etc and all come up looking good. Where the wax ones dry white on the plastic this dry clear and shiny. Also seems to shine better and smoother afterwards. Will definitely recommend this, and will use instead of aqua wax. Of all the auto glym stuff I have, i have to say this is near the top of my favourite stuff.

I think of this product as the car dealers friend. You can remove very light dust etc. and bring a well maintained car back to near showroom shine with light polishing. Very handy when you would like your car to look it's best on a summers day. Will only last a day or two at best, but you get the effect when you need it. Good for lubricating a deep clean with some clay bars, though I stick to the ones that only need a light spray of water. A handy luxury with a fruity smell!

Decent quality QD used for both claying stage or as a quick shine enhancement after a maintenance wash although I generally only buy if on offer.

I used this product as a lubricant when using a clay bar on my vehicle. It did the job well, the spray pattern dispersed the product over a wide area, it didn’t dry too quickly and, most importantly, eliminated any friction from the clay bar. Any excess was easily removed using a microfibre towel leaving an amazing finish which is long lasting. I’m sure this product would also be great when used as a detailing spray. I have a large 4x4 and did use over half the bottle in one session. This does make it quite expensive when being used as a lubricant - when being used as a detailing spray it will probably last longer.

I'm a recent convert to the whole detailing world, so bear with me as I review this item. First, give the car a good wash with a quality shampoo (I use the Autoglym's bodywork shampoo), rinse it off and chammy dry. Now, run your hand lightly over the paintwork. If it's anything like my car, you will find it rough to the touch, like it's covered in fine grit. This is where the Rapid Detailer and clay come in. Get a bit of clay, flatten it out to about the size of the width of 3 fingers. Now, here's the most important bit: TIP 1: *Never, ever, let the clay dry out.* You must keep the clay lubricated against the paintwork by spraying the detailer onto small sections of bodywork ahead of the clay. If you let it dry out, you run the risk of causing damage to the paint (scratches), or dropping the clay (it'll fly out of your hand as it grabs the paintwork as you move it). TIP 2: Keep rotating the clay as it picks up the impurities. You want clean clay. As you see dirt and grit stick to the clay, re-work it / rotate it to give yourself a clean surface. This detailer is great - it gives good lubrication to the clay and the bottle does go a long way. Just work small sections at a time so it doesn't dry out by the time you get to clay that section. Oh, and it smells GREAT! Mmmm bubblegum.... So, go on - buy this and give your car the love it deserves. After claying it, lock in your hard work by waxing and buffing it off. You'll give your car a great prep for the winter if you do this, and protect your paint from all the road salt.

Product is easy to use. Goes on easy, and just as easy to buff for a nice gloss finish.

So easy to use to touch up dirty marks especially after you've just had it cleaned.

Excellent product. I find that when the vehicle is wet a quick spray and rub down with a micro cloth keeps the vehicle looking great.

シャンプー洗車後にシュッと一吹き、すかさずマイクロファイバークロスで吹き上げて終わり。という簡単施工で、ボディーがツルツルになります。艶についてはスーパーレジンポリッシュやエクストラグロスプロテクションよりは劣る印象ですが、パッと見でその違いは業者じゃなきゃ分からないと思います。簡単施工でこの艶出せるなら使って損ないと思います。耐久は3週間程度もつ印象ですが、１ヶ月程度を洗車サイクルと考える方でも良いと思います。(お天気次第ですが) 後、香りも良くて私は好きです。
