Does it work without the dongle on normal Bluetooth?

Pretty sure you need the dongle as it also contains the drivers. It's tiny though, only sticks out by a cm at the most - maybe half.

Would this work with a chromebook?

My chromebook developed an intermittent touchpad fault, so I decided to purchase this product. I can confirm the mouse works well with a chromebook.

Is this mouse compatible with a MacBook Pro?

Specs say needs Win 10 or Mac OS 10. The USB receiver with the mouse requires a USB port. Some MacBook series do not have, including some Air and Pro. It is not Bluetooth.

i bought this wireless mouse a few months ago and now i cant find the insruction manual to connect. Cant find any info anywhere to help me, any ideas

You will need 2 AAA batteries. Remove battery cover. Take out the Nano receiver and put it in to USB port on your computer. Insert the batteries over the plastic tab and replace cover. Then just look for the On/Connect switch on the bottom of the Mouse. When not in use turn the mouse OFF and store the Nano receiver back inside the battery compartment.
