Love that the Nest doorbell camera pops up on screen automatically, and I’ve set up the motion sensor for evenings for one of the light switches. The motion sensor also allows you to customize the sensitivity so that my dog won’t set it off, but a person will. There’s so many other integrations (thermostat, assistant plus many more) that we’re already using and excited to add more. Only downside is that location settings (weather and times for sunrise and sunset) are not yet available to anyone who lives outside the US (great for the 350 million Americans, but not so good for the other 7 billion people).

I'm absolutely delighted with my Brilliant Smart Home Control system. Installation was a breeze, and the setup process was incredibly user-friendly. I have multiple units installed throughout my home, and integrating them with Alexa for home automation was seamless. The convenience of controlling lights, thermostats, and even doorbells from a single panel—or via voice command—is a game-changer. But what really sets this product apart for me is the intercom feature. It's incredibly useful for communicating between rooms without having to raise your voice or use a phone. The audio is clear, and the touch interface is intuitive. However, the speaker can not play music. That would be a nice upgrade for a future version. Overall, Brilliant Smart Home Control has significantly enhanced my home automation experience, making daily tasks more efficient and convenient. I highly recommend it!

The installation was fairly easy. I never could figure out how to program a ceiling fan. I tried to email support and their response was not helpful so I decided to take that up later. As soon as I couldn’t return to Amazon, I got a notification that my lightbulbs were too high of wattage and the lights stopped working. They are only standard household lights that worked fine for a while and now the none of the switch controls are working. I even had an electrician friend take a look at both units I installed and he told me he did not see any issues. Contacted tech support and they did not help. My other unit will not run the fan or one set of light. I just get room lights and that’s all. I bought 2 units around $1500 total and I replaced them with $50 smart switches off Amazon. I will be throwing the Brilliant switches in the garbage today after I replace them. I will never buy one of their products again. The support is not there at all and they cost too much. Everything was spotty on them.

Bad after sales service

Bought a new house and wanted something to control my lights, Sonos system, and act as an intercom between the kitchen and upstairs bedroom. Alexa built in is an added bonus. I replaced 7 switches with a 4 way Brilliant panel. Had to combine some of the lights but it gave me dimming capability. The installation was only problematic due to the amount of wiring, so I found a spacer on Amazon made for depth limited installs like mine. The control in the Theater was super easy and completed in under 30 minutes. I love these things.
