This product really solves bedwetting.
My 8 year old daughter was still bedwetting. I wasn't worried at first because bedwetting runs in both mine and my husband's family. Since summer 2020, her pull ups would soak and leak every night. That resulted on she calling me in the middle of the night, me changing all bedding so it was a very tired period. I tried different pull up brands, not that there's much choice. She was already on the top brand, size 8-15 years and still leaking every night. I consulted with the doctor who referred me to the school nurse team. I spoke to the nurse, I won't go into detail but I refused to follow the path they gave me. One night, after a bed change, I couldn't sleep so I found a pediatric article online which explain that bed wetting alarms were more efficient than anti diuretics to correct bed wetting. I looked in amazon and after reading all the reviews of this product, I decided to buy it and give it a go. The alarm is small and easy to use. I asked my daughter to put nickers on and pull up on top. I connected the alarm to the outside of her underwear. I decided to try the vibration mode first and I slept with her. The vibration would wake me up but not her. So I had to wake her up on her deep sleep and take it to the toilet. Sometimes I wouldn't hear the vibration either so after few nights, we changed to the sound alarm. This worked much better. My daughter would start to pee at night, the alarm automatically goes off and that makes the child to wake up and stop peeing. So I would take her to the toilet, she finished peeing there, change nickers as they were a big wet and go back to bed. First 2 weeks, the alarm would go off every night, at least once. When we were one month in, she would have the odd dry night but most night the alarm would go off. At that point I thought maybe that was the best we could get. It was still much better than having to change bedding in the middle of the night. At least, my daughter was waking up and finishing in the toilet. Then, two months in, eventually, she started to be dry every night, the alarm wouldn't go off at all. She was still putting her alarm every night and pull up, but dry every night. At some point she told me "mummy, I don't need the pull up, just the alarm". So she started to do so and kept being dry every night. Then she told me, "mummy, I don't need the alarm anymore". And that's it. She's now fully dry every night, sometimes she wakes up in the middle of the night, by herself, and goes to the toilet. This machine has trained her brain to read her body signals. It truly works. I wish I knew about this couple of years ago. If you have a child who's over 5 years old and still wetting the bed, bypass doctors and nurses and just buy this machine. It takes weeks to do the trick but it's well worth the wait.

Very effective, worked brilliantly, never looked back!
I had to review this amazing product as it has changed my daughter's and my life completely! Having a 9 year old who still wets the bed frequently - virtually every night is distressing and tiring. Seeking help from the health visitor, I was offered an afternoon workshop (which was on a day I worked) and then being put on the waiting list for the bed wetting alarm which is being used in the local area. I had tried various psychological approaches - buying CD's and recordings that we listened to each night in the hope that subliminal messages might work and I was afraid of the effect of an alarm waking my daughter, and the whole house, loudly every night. However, enough was enough, I went online and ordered the pink wet stop for a fraction of the price of the Malm ones. It arrived promptly and my daughter was up for giving something new a go. Stars and a sticker chart are included with a star for every night, even if wet, as it shows the child tried, which is very motivating. She continued to be wet every night for 7 nights with the alarm and I immediately rushed to her every night to sort her out although she was better at getting to the toilet with only a drop in her bed. Still feeling frustrated, we persevered. She was then dry for 8 consecutive nights and for the first time in years we had all slept all night. She had 2 more wet nights and that has been it - never wet again since for 6 months plus. This is a super product, pink to appeal to girls, stars are good. We ended up putting one sensor in her pants and the other on her shoulder or arm of short sleeved pyjamas too bulky anywhere else. Alarm is loud and jolts her awake but it is a more pleasant noise than others on the market. After giving up all hope this product worked. She obviously needed that conditioning at night and knew what to do to not set the alarm off. For a few weeks she woke in the night to go to the toilet with no alarm sounding and now she has a full night's sleep which is better for all of us. Would highly recommend this product and it is worth persevering. I felt it was important to see it as a challenge to complete together rather than something the child feels they have to do by themselves.

very good product
This was a cheaper alternative to the Malem bedwetting alarm and it does the same thing. The sensor is very sensitive so it reacts immediately it senses moisture and sets the alarm off. Can have vibrate or sound alarm or both, I have it on both just to be on the safe side! Since using it my 7yr old son has not wet the bed, he is a very deep sleeper but this wakes him so he can get up to the toilet. The sensor clips onto a pair of pants then you put another pair over the top to help hold everything in place, the wire feeds up the pj top and clips into a small alarm unit that clips onto the pj top. It does look a little uncomfortable and the wire is quite long so we had to bunch it and tie as I was worries the excess wire would get wrapped round my sons arm or neck as he wriggles around. takes 3 small AAA batteries. My son has used this every night for a few months now and it should have trained him by now to wake up on his own but it's so easy to keep it on that I haven't been brave enough yet to try without it. This has definitely solved all our bedwetting problems - very happy with it and would recommend it.

Life changing!
I don't normally review stuff, but in this circumstance I will, purely because this alarm has been invaluable in getting my 6 year old dry at night. Like many others we'd tried restricting drinks, lifting her to urinate before we went to bed, star charts...the lot. In short, nothing worked. Her desire to get out of pull ups, and advice from our GP about how to get her dry led us down the alarm route. We didn't want to use medication which was also an option. This is alarm is compact and easy to use. It is very sensitive to any moisture and therefore alarms as soon as the child starts to urinate. My daughter couldn't turn it off for herself as it involves pressing and holding down the button on the unit, after you've taken it anyway for the wet area it's clipped too. So we all had to be onboard with getting her dry and listen out for the alarm! A word of warning, the first couple of weeks we're not easy...in fact they were exhausting, but worth it. The alarm beeps loudly and the unit that clips to the child's PJ top vibrates. The good thing was that it never failed to wake our daughter, who is a very heavy sleeper. The down side was that in those first 2 weeks she was so shocked, disorientated and confused as to what was going on when it went off, that she was often not entirely awake, but really quite distressed which was hard to see. However after the first week that became less of an issue and she was getting herself up when it went off, rather than shouting for us, she still didn't much like it, but, she wanted to continue and she was making it to the loo to finish urinating. After 2 weeks she had a run of dry nights, with the odd accident. A month after starting it she was dry and has been since. She is incredibly pleased with herself and much more confident, wanting to have a sleep over. I would advise starting this In a school holiday. Our daughter sleeps 12 hours generally and to start with she was up 3 times a night and found it hard to go back to sleep. She was very tired, that however improved quickly, but that first week was hard! Overall this is great value for money, and it's achieved what we've been trying to do for a year in the space of a month. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it,

Very frustrated with this product.
When this device works it's brilliant. But it doesn't work for 80% of the time. I bought this in October and from the start the alarm would not turn off. I had to disconnect the cable and press the button a dozen times before the alarm was silent. My daughter found this very distressing at first as it is very loud. The alarm is supposed to cycle through different sounds so the child does not grow used to it and sleep through. This never happened, not from the moment we got it. Inevitably my daughter slept through the alarm after a couple of weeks and it was down to me to get up and wake her when I heard it go off. Still we persevered and by Christmas my daughter was dry. Just as well as the alarm now does not work at all. I would have liked to keep putting it on her for security but it's totally dead. Now, two weeks later, she's started wetting the bed again. After weeks of sleepless nights I could scream. I am unable to contact the seller as Amazon doesn't seem to give me this option for this item, I don't understand why. If I could I would have rather than leave this review, to give them a chance to rectify the problem. If the seller would like to contact me and send me a new device that actually works I will be happy to review the new product and take this one down. It's such a shame as the idea is fantastic, such a pity that the device isn't up to the job.

Fantastic product - worked a treat!
Our soon to be six year old son was showing no signs of ever being able to make it though the night. Nappies turned into bed pants and every morning he woke up wet. We followed the advice of the GP and never really discussed it being told boys were often lazier when it comes to dry nights and these things would just sort themselves out. Our soon to be six year old was starting to realise he was the only one in 'bed pants' and wanted to sleep over at a nighbours house but was too embarassed to do so. He was keen to do something and having researched the internet a bit found this device which for just over £30 meant we had nothing to lose. We bought it online together and he was really looking forward to giving it a go. The instructions are easy to follow and item well made. The enclosed star chart lets you make it into a bit of a challenge. It suggests a parent should sleep in the same room for the first few nights to help with trips to the toilet when the alarm went off. This I dutifully did (was nice to bond anywhere between twice and seven times a night for a week! not to mention the laminate flooring and 40 year old back). The alarm goes off after the tiniest wet spot on their pants and after a while I guess they just get fed up with being woken up. He also slept on a towel - just in case. I never had to change the towel - or bed sheets - it is that sensitive. After 7 nights he started getting up on his own, finishing off in the toilet and replacing the sensor and new pants by himself. After 14 nights he simply stopped going. Here we are a month later and we have had 14 clear dry nights for the first time ever. For us, the results have been nothing short of fantastic. There have been no accidents, no dramas and all in this has been the best child related item we have ever bought. We have a very, very proud - soon to be six year old who has cracked what for him (and us) was becoming a bit of an issue. I can only recoomend this based on our own experiences. Seven nights on the floor was worth every penny to see the grin on his face in the morning! I am so very very glad I bought this and really can't recommend it enough. Worth every penny.

Promising start but some interesting design decisions
Three month update.... Well we're not using the alarm any more, because our lad is basically dry at night, at least nine times out of ten. It's not been 100% thanks to the alarm, but a combination of a number of strategies, but the timing can't be entirely coincidental. The backwards logic of how the alarm should help doesn't really make sense, but it almost certainly contributed to the success as part of the wider approach of extra care over evening water intake, having one last wee (no matter how tiny) before final tucking in, with the backup of waterproof duvet and undersheets. Early days with actually getting our lad dry at night, but promising so far, though I'm not entirely sure it's quite as sensitive as claimed especially with typically thicker boys' underwear and less obvious optimal positioning. It's obviously a bit awkward with the cable, but it's a trade-off between that and the more bulky wireless alternatives. I would pick up on a couple of avoidable early issues though, which are rather surprising to find in what I assume to be a third-generation model - though I note on reading further details online that some of these are intentional design decisions, to make it harder for a child to operate, perhaps acceptable for a toddler, but less so an older child. * Rather poor cable connector, of the RJ phone-style type. These are both damage-prone and quite fiddly to operate, and I would be a bit concerned of the risk of a cable that did not easily detach under stress. This would be preferable to be a 3.5mm audio jack type, which would be perfectly secure in normal use, but release when necessary and able to be operated by the child without risk of breaking it. * Alarm not to be able to be cancelled without either unplugging the cable (see above) or removing the sensor clip from the child's undergarments - confirmed in the user guide. In the middle of the night when everyone's half asleep, and the neighbours are wondering where the alien invasion is happening, this isn't great. Would like to see a function whereby a long press on the button would suppress the alarm for say 5 minutes. * Clip on alarm unit could be better designed for the intended purpose. It really doesn't work well in practice and would be better as a bigger "up and over" clip rather than similar to the one for the sensor.

Five year old completely dry in three weeks
I remember reading the other reviews for this product thinking if these experiences are true then I have to give this a try and hope we get the same outcome. Very pleased to say we did. Our five year old has been dry in the day since he was two, but could never make it through the night and has always worn pull ups. He had the added pressure of his younger brother being completely dry by 2.5 years old. He also didn't like it that his best friend found out he wore pull ups and teased him about it. With school and beaver camps coming up we really needed for his sake to get him dry at night. We had tried everything to help him. No drinking after 5pm, lifting him twice a night, once at 11pm and again at 3am, which was very tiring for me having to get up. Most of the time he couldn't remember going even when I made him walk to the toilet. Plus I was expecting him to pee on command. We also tried a week of letting him wet the bed in the hope it would kick start his brain, but after six nights of broken sleep and a lot of washing we gave up. At that point I wondered if there was a device that would react to him peeing and let him/us know. A quick google search and I found the Wet-Stop 3 read the reviews and decided to try it. The first few nights it worked well as we clipped it inside his pull up and it was waking us all up to get him to the toilet. Toward the end of the week it didn't work as well as it didn't go off and he had wee in his pull up. At this point we realised that when the sensor is in the wrong position or moves the pull up absorbs the wee before it hits the sensor. We put pants on him and clipped the sensor to them with the pull up over the top to protect the bedding and stop us having to change the sheets in the middle of the night. It worked really well plus gave him the feeling of being wet. Four more nights and he had his first dry night and got the converted 'gold star' that he was thriving to get. 'Team Wee Wee' as we called ourselves had succeeded. Another wet night, followed by two dry, followed by another wet night and four dry, one last wet night (a minor dribble) and he has been dry ever since. It is amazing how the alarm tells the body that peeing at night is negative and it quickly learns to adapt. He hated being woken up too. The first time he appeared at my bedside at 3am telling me he needed the toilet was amazing. I've never been so pleased to be woken up in the middle of the night. Hearing him do a large wee in the morning after his body has stored it for a few hours was also amazing. He is now fully dry and really happy with himself and we no longer need to purchase pull ups.

This worked way, way better than we were expecting.
We'd planned on spending $700+ on another system, but decided to try this first based on the other good reviews. The inclusion of the star chart is a nice touch, and it really gave my daughter the motivation to give it a good solid try. A few weeks later and she's got it under control and no more nappies! Couldn't be happier.

Chegou antes do esperado, tudo certinho.
