C.K T2250 Cable Stripper, Multi-Colour

This does exactly what it says. I've just installed five brick lights in a new garden wall and had to use this to connect 10 gland connectors. Worked like a dream and made a job I'm really not very good at very easy!

I only purchase this one, because I lost my other that I had for ages.We do use this a fair bit amount of time as an electrician it just makes striping the armour much quicker and neater then junior hacksaw. Obviously is limited on how big an armour cable you can actually strip, but still great tool.Only negative I found with this particular one is that the blades don't last as long as with my previous one. It's seems that they are not made to last and they use cheaper or less quality blades, which obviously you can replace and there is 4 or 5 ( I can't remember) attached to this stripers and replacing them is straight forward too.Other than that, spot on.Thank you.

Well was told great things about it, but once I've got it, turns out best place for it is in the bin, follow the directions and everything and by the time you cut into the outer sleeve the blade is half blunt? Do a few turns and the blade is blunt and it's just started to score the armoured, went through 3 blades on 1 cable? The blades are too small for the job, the holder is too big for the blade, you have to find the just right spot every time when replacing the blade, if I could I would send it back but sadly I can't, believe it needs to have a redesign as it's a great idea but badly made, I would say keep your money and find something better like the junior hacksaw

The C.K T2250 cable stripper does the job but with some limitations. It’s lightweight and easy to handle, which is great for quick jobs. The multi-colour design makes it easy to spot in a toolbox.However, I found it a bit fiddly when stripping thicker cables — it required multiple attempts to get a clean strip without damaging the wire. The blade is sharp but not as precise as I expected for a tool in this price range.Build quality feels decent but not very heavy-duty, so I’m not sure how it will hold up with frequent professional use. For occasional home or hobby work, it’s okay, but pros might want to look for something more robust. Feel like it’s quicker just using a hacksaw

Great product for stripping the armouring off swa, very easy to use.

Very handy. Makes quick work of stripping SWA. Resist the urge to tighten too much. I find that if I re tighten after every few turns the armouring wire is very easy to cut and the cut is very clean, too.Highly recommended.

used this item straight out of the pack . i tested it on a piece of 25mm squared armoured cable . it did the job well , but the cutting blade had to be replaced after only one use. the blades are poorly made.
