V363 Silicone Oven Glass Door Gasket Seal High Temperature Heat Resistant from -80ºF to 600ºF (Black)

This is a great heat resistant sealant. The cap enabled me to easily pierce the tube, the supplied nozzle is easily cut to size with a Stanley knife, possibly a strong sharp kitchen knife on a chopping board. I applied a line of sealant waited the prescribed time and joined my components. I was repairing a broken switch plate on a slow cooker, so this needed to secure plastic to stainless steel, and be able to cope with the high temperatures produced by our slow cooker. The result was great, good, clean, strong bond that once again allowed us to set the dial to on, off, medium etc without the switch backing plate moving. Good results at a great price, would recommend this product for people needing a sealant that operates in high temperatures, with no smells etc.

Bought to re attach the outer glass on my oven door, which had come off. Firstly, other reviews state that it was very hard to get out of the tube, but it's not a problem, you just have to cut the applicator nozzle to a big enough size, if you only cut it small it will be hard to get out, it is a thick consistency, the same as gun applied sealant which can also be hard to use if you don't cut the nozzle big enough. Preparation is the key to this doing the job properly, remove all old adhesive /sealant, and clean /degrease thoroughly, i actually used acetone nail varnish remover 2 or 3 times and left to dry, then applied plenty of adhesive /sealant, positioned the glass on the door, (door removed from oven and layed flat), and weighted it, i used 3 18 packs of beer cans, and left in position for 24 hours, or maybe a little longer, perfect job oven door fixed and back on, as good as new. Just prepare properly and all should go well. Happy with purchase.

Quite messy to use, and difficult to get out the tube. The supplied applicator that is cut to size is extremely poor quality and doesn't cut away cleanly with scissors.

Beware this stuff sticks like proverbial to a shovel 🪏🪏🪏🪏 Used it to resecure the glass view pane in my air fryer door (Thanks Tefal for shoddy design) Having tried other products with zero success I was doubtful of this goo doing the job Well it's now many months later and my glass pane is still firmly where I stuck it. Well worth the time and effort and cheaper than replacing the air fryer. Just be bl**dy careful where it goes, hands. Fingers. Glasses. Screw drivers. .. because its really gooey!!!

Respectez la notice et les tuto's disponibles sur le net : la vitre et la porte doivent être bien nettoyées, dégraissées et sèches. Application produit assez aisée, même si la pâte semble se pétrifier de suite ce qui est faux. Etaler de façon homogène sans laisser d'endroits vides surtout ! Poser la vitre, appuyer. J'ai mis un contre poids conséquent pendant 48h le tout à l'air libre. Après, monter la porte et chauffer le four au maximum, sans l'ouvrir. Une fois froid, même opération en chaleur tournante. Et la 3e fois avec un plat rempli d'eau. Résultat, à ce jour, impeccable.

Se nos despegó el cristal del horno, me decante por este producto al ver las reseñas que tenía. Me llegó muy rápido y siguiendo las instrucciones lo pegué y quedó como nuevo, un mes después sigue igual de bien. Quisiera decir que en casa usamos el horno 4 o 5 veces por semana. Muy recomendable.
