Falcon 20cm Dinner Plate White - 45020

Ideal size for a plate pie, good quality and does the job.

Nice tin plate, ideal to use as a palette for my art work. At first, it got lost in the post, but customer service was excellent, really willing to help, so I finally received it and am very happy.

Although this is marketed as a dinner plate, what I was really lookinf for was a traditional, sloping-sided pie plate, which I couldn't find anywhere on the high street, so I was really pleased to discover this one on-line. Sadly, because I still think in imperial terms, I misjudged the size of it, and was a little disappointed that it was smaller than I expected. My own fault - when dimensions are given in cms I really ought to get out the tape measure and check! However, it is still big enough to make decent size apple pies - (in fact, it's probably better for my health that I'll be baking smaller ones)I was also a little disappointed that the bottom of the plate got chipped during transport. However this is a common problem with enamelled goods. I've got plenty of other enamel dishes with all sorts of chips on them, which doesn't detract from their functionality.If it hadn't been for these 2 minor points, I may have given this a 5 star.

Small. Not a dinner plate. Still like it and will keep it. But ordered an bigger one.

Perfect for making small pies

So long as you know what size you are buying, this is perfect. It's well made and is perfect size to make a plate pie.

This 'dinner plate' is laughable. Firstly, the description of the plate is fraudulent, as it IS NOT ceramic. It is a coated tin plate, like something soldiers would use or greasy spoon cafes. Secondly, be very aware of the size. It is NOT in any way, shape or form a dinner plate. It is, at best, a side plate, something big enough to put a sandwich or cake on. I knew this when ordering, as I just wanted something big enough to cover up my cat's large-diameter food bowl, but if you are buying this as a dinner plate, I would strongly advise you to NOT purchase it. How the seller has the nerve to call this either ceramic or a dinner plate is incredible.

Item received within 5 days. Great communication with the lovely seller. BFC is my only provider for my Falcon Enamelware. Will keep on dealing with them. Regarding of the plate, it will be great with my home made cookies !Edit : Ordered a second plate during the month and everything went as smooth as always. Even faster ! My collection is growing quicker !
