Easy to setup, easy to use and seems to do the job. It's not a miracle worker so don't expect to suddenly be able to remove those impossible marks/stains. However, it does make certain jobs easier which otherwise require chemicals or elbow grease. For those complaining it's broken because you can't unscrew the cap, you need to wait for it to COOL DOWN FIRST. It literally says that in the manual, it's a safety feature so you don't end up with steam in your face.

I bought this handheld steam cleaner because, to be honest, I am too tight to buy a full size one and I have lived for most of my life without one, so couldn't justify spending the money, BUT am fed up with the grout being so filthy on my cream floor tiles. I was very sceptical, i'm hard to please with gadgets. I only got it yesterday and it was extremely easy to set up and use. On some of the reviews it says that because you have to hold the trigger down to operate the steam, you wouldn't be able to use it for longer than 10 minutes because your finger would ache. It doesn't last 10 minutes without needing to be refilled, so that isn't a problem. On the whole I am really happy with it, which has surprised me! My grout has come up brilliantly and I am already thinking of other areas I can use it. As I said before the only negatives are the fact that it doesn't last that long before it needs refilling, but for the price and the fact it is only a handheld I think this is a small price to pay for how easy it is to use and store out of the way. The only other negative I have is it does produce ALOT of water during use, but if you take a big towel around with you to mop it up it's not an problem. I think this handheld is a great choice if you are not always steam cleaning and only want to use it on hard floors and not carpets. It does freshen up curtains, taking out creases, but I haven't used it on this yet, so can't comment.

I think this is my new favourite toy! Only used it for the cooker, countertops and some upholstery andso far and it hasn’t disappointed me. Oh, to have the stainless steel cooker streak free with minimal effort! About it being slippery, I rest it on a silicone pot holder-problem solved! As for steam production and how hot it is, I can only say that it is perfect for me. I only wish you could have a way to know when the water runs out.

Maybe I had unrealistic expectations but I originally intended to use this product to clean tough bathroom mould and limescale as well as my oven. I expected the product to be easy to use to do the job quickly. I was very wrong. Firstly the capacity of the cleaner means you add a small quantity of water that generates less than 5 minutes of steam cleaning capability. The process of waiting for the cleaner to cool, combined with the Da Vinci code like mechanism to remove the lid meant that a job I envisaged to take about 5 minutes ended up taking an hour. I gave up after needing to refill the device for a third time having barely cleaned about 3 lines of tile grout. Furthermore, to activate the device you need the thumb grip strength of a professional weight lifting champion. Now I don't consider myself particularly weak however I'm pretty sure I gave myself carpal tunnel syndrome just from using this device for less than 5 minutes. In summary: lasts less than 5 minutes, is distinctly unergonomic, is a massive faff to use, makes cleaning more frustrating. Don't buy if you believe it will help you and make your life easier.

Bought to remove an 'impossible' to remove baked on grease stain from a stainless steel splash back. This is a stain that has benefited from hours of elbow grease and various cleaning products. All of which removed some, but nowhere near all of the stain. Until .... the Bissell Steam Shot. Within 2 minutes, it had gone. 100%. No damage to the splash back. This thing is ideal for cleaning range cookers, BBQs, etc. Use it with HG Grease Away and a stiff nylon brush (MR.SIGA) for best effect. The only thing I would say, is that it only generates about 5 minutes worth of steam. However, for most tasks, you want to spray, steam, scrub, wipe, repeat. So, it's probably enough between cups of tea/coffee. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

On the whole, I really like this steam cleaner. It doesn't take long to heat up, the steam lasts about 20 seconds for a continous burst and the accessories are really useful. I do have 2 negatives though: 1) When you have any attachements on the whole thing becomes unstable and very prone to falling over. My favourite attachement is the long nozzle and I can't put the steam cleaner down because it will fall over. 2) It came with a UK plug despite being brought on Amazon AU. This was just annoying, I had to go find a converter. The voltage etc was right though.
