This works well. I made about 12 large jars of plum jam. I thought I did everything right. But it turned out to be very running. Afterwards I checked out Amazon for pectin and this looked interesting like it would work. Sure enough I imported all my 12 bottles, no 11 bottles as my family likes the running plum jam for putting in plain yogurt. I put in a slight bit more than the instructions said and re-Jarred the jam. Within about 2 hours the jam was set and all the jars were perfect. This is because of the pectin. I have enough for lots more hame making. Next I will make Seville orange marmalade! The photo is prior to using the pectin as I don’t have a photo of after.

I use this product to make mainly jam but also occasionally to thicken pickle/chutney. My main issue? I use so much I need to find a new use for the big white tubs! A local nursery uses them as drums for toddlers, the garage is sorted with labels on the sides, some have pasta inside, etc.etc. :-D Talking of labels the ones on the tubs are very easy to pull off, meaning it can be easily re-labelled for storage…. … so no landfill!!! 🙂 But enough of the packaging…. … this pectin is very easy to blend with sugar before adding to the jam, meaning no annoying pectin powder clumps as you cook. Seriously… absolutely happy to recommend this to everyone 😁 And the seller? I had a problem with ordering recently … nothing to do with product itself… and had a very fast response by a friendly seller who went beyond the to fix everything … happy to recommend them too 🙂 I’m disabled and make the jams to stop my mind going down the rabbit hole of depression when I can’t do things I used to. Easily. Making stuff to put into jars keeps the demons away… trust me, this is relevant! Obviously MS, Lupus and arthritis means we’re not exactly flush with money meaning most things I love doing are now pretty much unaffordable. This seller has not increased the price in over four years… the product typically works first time so no wastage… speed of delivery is awesome … … Altogether meaning I CAN still do something I absolutely love… because of them 🙂 Thankyou 🥰
