I own 4 Action Cams and this one is the YDI G80 Action Camera. 4K. and is my favourite. It is also better than any of my GoPros were. (Sold all 3 of them) Much better. The Gyro works, and then mounting it on my Gimbal, means I can do an Irish Jig, and the footage is 100% steady. (BUT I am far too old to do an Irish Jig LOL) The camera has different lens length settings too. 170/140/120 are available to you. Even if you do not do any post production, this is VERY handy indeed for both stills and Videos. I shall enclose a video I did of this camera and a NON Gyro model side by side. You can see the difference quite clearly. Also a few stills I took on it. A few in Scotland at a wedding, one of the Peter Pan statue, at a place called Kirriemuir. All in all this unit get a 10 out of 10 from me. They are also very helpful by email from the factory, and always replied to any questions I had. Try getting THAT sort of after service from GoPro ! The remote is like a real watch. It works on 2.4GHz and after you hit the button to get it speaking to the camera, you never need to do it again. Once only, and you can shoot your movies, take your stills and also..... switch the camera off. How cool is that. The accessory kit contains 2 battery's plus a stack of fittings. With the provided durable waterproof case, this camera can go as deep as 30 meters underwater. Use this for your water sports like swimming, surfing etc. also in rain / snow / muddy conditions etc. Although I do not use the Wi-fi, I did try it out. The WIFI Connection Functions are suitable for IOS, Android phones and tablets. This allows you to control your camera via your phone, to view pictures and videos swiftly, and transfer files onto your phone or share them on social media via the downloadable app called "CANANY". This camera has many excellent features, and my favourite of all is the built in Gyroscope Anti-shake systems. It also has a Diving Mode, a great Night Mode which works very well. A Dash Cam Mode with Loop recording. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) again which works very well along with Motion Detection, Time-lapse, and Burst Photo. Last but not least, the Camera is equipped with the Novatek 96660 Chipset and a SONY 079 Sensor, dual screen with 2.0 inch front screen and 0.96 inch back screen. Pretty good stuff huh. This camera supports real (not electronically concocted pixels to create what looks like 4K) you get REAL 4K @ 24fps, 2.7K @ 30fps, 1080P @ 30 & 60FPS. 720P @ 60&120fps video resolution, and 16MP still image resolution. Get one. You will not be disappointed.

For the price and image quality we were really happy with this camera. We spent a little time researching beforehand and decided that we wanted image stabilisation and 4K capability above anything else, and didn't want to pay more that £80. Key points from our experience: -The picture quality is great, particularly for landscapes. Obviously having a wide angle lens there is an element of distortion to closer objects or faces, but for capturing your surroundings this is a good camera. We used it in trees, driving, under water, and never had any problems with the image quality. -The sound quality isn't great, so if you're wanting to use this for recording good quality audio then perhaps have a look at microphone options. It also won't get much sound when in the water proof case. We used the camera in the case on zip lines and while the images are great, you can't hear us at all. When not in a case the playback is a little tinny, but clear enough to hear most sounds. -The camera comes with a waterproof case. This does the job but can be a little frustrating; there is only one side button so scrolling through the files or options means going one way and waiting until you come back around if you miss it. -This is not touch screen and the control buttons aren't the most intuitive but after a few practices they're simple to use, just not super quick for those rushed shots. -There is a burst function and timer which is handy for taking unpredictable timed shots. -The little screen at the front doesn't do playback, so you won't be able to check if you're in shot when filming yourself. However with the wide angle lens it's pretty likely you will be! -Our battery life was about 90 minutes or so with filming intermittently. When we did a zip lining experience for example, we had the camera on for the whole time, a little under 2 hours, and filmed for several minutes at a time every 10 or 15 minutes. The battery died just before the end of the session. -We used with a new SanDisk Extrem 32GB Micro SD. There was no formatting required and we could upload photos directly on to the computer after using the USB cable included. All in all for the price and our purposes (recording our honeymoon) this camera did a good job, and we'd recommend for any other amateur use!

Use this for cycling to work, coped well in the dark early morning & evening. Clear enough to see car number plates without blurry pictures. The only little snag is a mist build up in the case in the lens area but only around It when the weather is at freezing point. It has not effected the picture quality. The mist Soon go away when use awhile. The picture quality is amazing but there is a slight mist at edges but soon go away in use awhile after going from my warm house to freezing outdoor. The camera itself is great! It cope with bumps & shakes, really can’t go wrong for the price. If you want best quality go for Sandisk extreme class 10.

The camera itself is amazing just what I needed. As for the accessories I did not get two batteries as it stated and in the box telling you what you should have it also says there should be two. Only one I have is in the camera itself which is disappointing as one battery does not last more than two and a half hour befor it dies. I'm sure they will sort it soon will keep everyone informed. Great product though.

I bought this camera to capture pictures and videos on holiday. Very easy to use and such good value for money. Captured good images and videos. The only issue we have come across is that the date changes back to factory setting when you change the battery.

Good value for money item, and received great service and communication from seller. Only improvement would be the addition of a bag for all the items you he in the kit. These can be purchased separately.

carnt get the camera to pick up wifi when ive looked into this there is more than me having this problem.....

Seems O, but I am returning it because it doesn't have a tripod mount and can only be mounted by using the plastic case. For a little more the Campark X20 (touch screen and tripod mount) is a better option for me.

Estoy sorprendido gratamente de la calidad que ofrece este producto, en pleno día es muy bueno, en bajo techo o poco iluminado no esta mal, baja algo pero aceptable, pero debe de pasar en todas según los tutórales que he visto, también el precio influirá mucho. Las grabaciones son de diez minutos seguidos si quieres, después en producción vas uniendo y sin problemas, digo esto por que no ay forma de cambiarlo como en otras cámaras menos tiempo, creo que más de diez minutos no hay cámara de acción que grave mas, es una medida de seguridad de los videos. La configuración es un poco liosa la hora de uso, pero en cuanto cojas el lió es muy intuitiva, el manual (papel) esta en ingles, infinidad de accesorios, la carcasa acuática trae otra tapa, pensaba que era por si se te pierde, pero trae agujeros para poder escuchar mejor el sonido si no la vas a sumergir, ojo con esto que apenas se nota. Tengo que decir también que en Windows 10 si me reproduce 4k pero en Windows 7 pro no, será problema de codes, pero no he mirado, el 1080 me es suficiente. Recomendable al 99,98%.

Unser 10 jähriger Sohn hat sie zu Ostern bekommen, er ist total begeistert. Sie macht unter wasser oder beim Fahrrad fahren gute Bilder. Das Zubehör und der Preis sind einfach Klasse. Gerne wieder! 👍

Je mets 5 étoiles en sachant pertinemment qu'il existe de meilleures caméras sur le marché, mais l'ensemble qualité/prix me satisfait largement. Comme tous, j'avais peur en achetant une caméra d'entrée de gamme mais finalement j'ai été agréablement surpris, la qualité de la caméra est plus que correcte, les vidéos rendent bien sur le pc donc voilà.. Après j'imagine que ce n'est pas le niveau d'une GoPro, mais pour filmer mes vacances ça me va. J'ai aussi eu l'occasion d'utiliser la caméra dans l'eau, les couleurs rendent très bien et en voiture, l'image reste très fluide. Le seul bémol que j'ai à cette caméra est peut-être le son mais bon..

Ich habe die YDI G80 für meinen Sohn gekauft. Er nutzt Sie am Helm und am Lenker beim Cross-Fahren mit dem MTB. Die Instalation bzw. Einrichtung der Kamera funktioniert intuitiv und fast ohne Anleitung. Das umfangreiche Zubehör macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Für jede Monatge gibt es die passende Befestigung. Insbesondere die Kamera wirkt durch ihre Haptik sehr hochwertig. Alles sehr passgenau. Die Fernbedienung fürs Handgelenk funktioniert dadellos und ist für unsere Zwecke perfekt. Sie ist deutlich besser als die schlichten Ausführungen, die mit einem Klettband am Hangelenk befestigt werden. Zudem ist der Akku in der Uhr integriert und kann einfach über USB geladen werden. Auch der Spritzschutz ist sehr gut, da auf der Oberfläche kaum Wasser eindringen kann. Die Kamera an sich hat uns absolut positiv überrascht. Wir hatten für diesen Preis nicht mit einem solchen Ergebnis gerechnet. Da wir die ernüchternde Aufnahmequalität des Session Modells des Mitbewerbers kannten, waren wir der Ansicht, für weniger als die Hälfte des Geldes ebenso eine schlechtere Bildqualität zu erhalten. Aber im Gegenteil!!! Diese Kamera kann ich nur weiterempfehlen an alle, die mit dem MTB im Wald unterwegs sind, oder einsatzbedingt mit stärkeren Erschütterungen zu kämpfen haben. Wir sind wirklich begeistert, da man alle Parameter der Kamera (Linsenwinkel, Belichtung, Aufnahmequalität usw.) ganz einfach zum Testen einstellen und ausprobieren kann. Innerhalb von wenigen Minuten weiß selbst ein 9jähriger, wie er die Kamera wann, wo und wie einzustellen hat, damit am Ende möglichst gute Aufnahmen entstehen. Ein zusätzliches Plus: Der Service funktioniert dadelos und absolut vorbildlich. Amazon hat natürlich auch gut funktioniert.
