How is the bass for this? I have a different type of sony headphones with AMAZING bass but i really wanted this model as it is BT and comfy

These headphones are not for bass heads, they can pack a punch if you manipulate the bass via the Sony connect app, but if it’s mega bass you are looking for with noise cancelling properties, then you might want to consider the MDR-XB950N1 which packs a brain thumping bass punch. The overall sound quality is not as good as the WH-H900N’s but that’s not the purpose of the MDR-XB950N1, it’s is designed to give ultimate bass. So if you are only interested in that brain shaking bass experience then WH-H900N is not the one for you.

What is the best bluetooth transmitter to attach to my hifi to transmit to these headphones please? my trond v5 works but quality is next to useless..

When connected to a pc, does the audio switch to mono/low quality when using the mic?

If your pc has a decent soundcard the quality is the same. I'll recommend getting a bluetooth adapter for your computer and then you can enjoy your music hassle free without cables maximizing the sound quality.
