A fantastic handy book
I hadn't knitted for a few years, so I bought this book to remind me how to do certain stitches etc, its very easy to follow and had good photos to show you exactly how to do things. The book is exactly what I needed for a quick reference/reminder. I thoroughly recommend this book.

Handy size.
Lovely book. Lovely handy size , simple explanations. Only thing I don't like about it is that Alison tell you a branded wool to use ( Rowan wool) and the first project I pulled up I did a search for the specific wool only to find it had been discontinued! I wish she'd given more open suggestions for the wool like weight and general type . It took me quite some time to find a similar wool based on ball weight and length.

Its Ok this book and does provide some good tips and the projects are OK. However all the projects use only 1 brand name for the wool and for the inexperienced there is not enough explanation about the using yarn and what the different types are and how you can use different brands of wool. to achieve the same result.

Great book for any knitter.
This book is just right for someone just starting to knit, however I am an expeianced knitter and found the tips like how to make a neat neck line, how to sew up and garment and different ways of casting on and off as really useful. The book has great illustrations . I had it recommended to me and with out hesitation would recommend it to any knitter.

Disappointing
I agree with other reviews that this book doesn't really help you if you are a complete beginner. It's hard to follow and quite frankly you'll end up really frustrated.

Illisible, Impossible to read anything
Je ne voit pas grand chose sur la version Kindle. J'ai beau agrandir les caractères, l'image, etc., rien n'y fait. Ce livre ne me sert à rien. I've enlarged the letters, the page, still I Can't see anything on kindle
