I took a chance buying this as was quoted £55 to trim my year old labradoodle for the first time just to lighten her coat in time for the warmer weather. I’m so pleased with my purchase and we managed a great result in quick time and not at all stressful for my dog. She looks lovely and will be so much more comfortable in the heat. I used the scissors in the set to trim round her ears, face and tail and, as she has the slightly scruffy labradoodle look anyway, the result is just perfect. The trimmers are quiet and I was able to work quickly. Great price and product.

Ordered yesterday with Prime. Arrived today. Great packaging. Used it already on my long haired x breed dog and it is exactly as it is described. Lightweight, quiet, doesn't get hot like my Wahl trimmers did, and smoothly and easily removes unwanted fur. The comb and scissors are great extras too. Both reasonably good quality, particularly the comb. This is excellent for removing tangles and matting quiet easily. I am going to store it in the box but I would happily have paid more for this if it came with a little storage bag/case. I have always used Wahl products before for my dogs but I can honestly say if you are uncertain of whether to buy this or not, it is fabulous for the price! Does exactly as it says it does, with ease!

It's good for normal dog hair, dogs with 2 layers like mountain dogs (mine is a Caucasian Shepherd) it does not cut the bottom layer properly, it sounds like it hasn't got the power to cut the bottom layer, if you do not use any attachments you can do some cutting by going over and over but unless you want a bald dog or one with skin showing in parts then it's not great for that, for normal dogs hair it will be great and wont have any problems with that. It is all plastic and although it has a plasticy feel the blade themselves are good, for the price it is good, the adapters are fine and will cut many lengths, overall I would recommend it but not for 2 layered hair/fur. And the battery lasted ages once charged.

I have just received these clippers and have got to say I was very impressed I have a King Charles spaniel who has pretty thick and long hair these clippers went through like hot knife through butter, my dog is not the best for wanting groomed least of all being clipped but with these no problem noise level is minimal which was a problem with my old clippers I used plus would take me over an hour to clip her as had to stop n start as not to stress my dog out I clipped my dog with theses clippers in less than 20 mins no stress to my dog at all at the end of it she actually lay down to let me do her underneath which was unheard of so if you have a dog that’s not keen on being clipped definitely get these clippers stress free for dog and owner plus a fantastic haircut at the end highly recommended theses clippers and fantastic value for money I don’t normally do reviews but I just had to for these clippers

These clippers are magic. Instead of my hairy terrier looking like a moth-eaten mop, they clipped the hair (I used the plastic grading heads on the body) while still leaving a good covering - and without the head - completely clipped her legs clean - even in between her paws. They really are quiet and caused minimum distress - the only small problem was that, even after a five hour charge, they only lasted 30 minutes - something I mentioned in my delivery feedback form. Imagine my surprise when, just 10 minutes after submitting the feedback form, I was contacted by the seller stating that the battery should last 70 minutes and offering to send a new one to me immediately. I was so, so impressed. With that kind of backup support from the seller, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending these clippers to anyone looking for high performance clippers at a real value-for-money price! I attempted to use this twice on my cocker using the different guards to try and get a trim, I didn’t want to take too much off. It just wouldn’t even look at doing it very well at all. It was oiled etc, it just doesn’t seem to like the cocker coat. I was so desperate in the end I went right down to the lowest guard and that worked albeit poorly and eventually it worked but it took it way too short for her in my opinion. Good thing it worked really well for my son on all guards. It may work well for other costs but not for my cockers, maybe too silky? Gave them to my grown up son. For battery, it lasts really well. Noise wise, it’s not particularly very quiet but not too noisy either. The extras in the kit were really good though. Scissors are great, sharp and feel good quality. The nail clippers work Well and do their job.

I have an 8 year old collie, springer spaniel cross rescue dog. Terrific dog but afraid of all things electrical - vacuum cleaner, hairdryer etc. She runs a mile when I am vacuuming. Her hair gets very thick and long - tried cutting it with scissors, tried my husband's hair clippers (too Noisy) so in desperation I bought the pet grooming set because it stated low noise. I hesitantly tried it yesterday worried in case she bolted but no, she lay still and let me proceed. I trimmed her paws and her lower legs - success - so I continued trimming around her rear end down to her tail - still she allowed me. The 12mm attachment is ideal for the long hair on her back but I might take it even lower. I have yet to do her underneath but fingers crossed she hasn't objected so far, probably because, as advertised, this is very quiet. We have a long way to go because she is really a hairy dog but thanks to this brilliant clipper I think we will eventually get there and I intend to clip it short on a regular basis. Very well made product, easy to use even for beginners like me.

I have a lhasapoo which has curly hair that grows so quickly. These clippers have made trimming her so much better and easier. They work great!!!

Sehr sehr leise und unkompliziert. Die Katzen lassen sich super das Fell schneiden. Bin zufrieden und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt auch.

Great dog clipper for a great price. Very low noise so if you have a nervous dog they aren’t as afraid of it.

The clippers stopped working after about 9 months and would not charge. Admittedly, they were abused.
