Fun for the kids
This Intex Metal Frame Rectangular Swimming Pool is excellent and has been a brilliant addition for hot weather. The frame feels sturdy and well-built, and once assembled it holds its shape really well even when filled. The rectangular design gives more usable swimming space compared to round pools, which makes it great for both kids and adults to enjoy. Setup is fairly straightforward, and the instructions are clear enough for a quick assembly. The pool liner feels durable, and overall it handles regular use without issues. It’s the perfect size for a garden setup and provides a really refreshing way to cool down in summer. Overall, it’s great value for money, strong, practical, and perfect for family fun at home.

Great Little Pool
This is year 2 of the pool and its holding up well. First off, we got this for a really good price last Summer. We went for just the pool itself as a couple of years before we got one of the circular ones with the inflatable top and that came with a basic filter but this was pretty poor. This time around, a lot of chlorine, manual skimming and occasional use of the pond vac to clean the floor and sides and do a bit of filtering! We've had to empty and refill once so far as it did sit neglected for a couple of weeks, so that was our fault. Pool is a good size for kids. I can sort of swim in it but do bang my knees on the bottom! Seems pretty sturdy and we have now assembled, taken apart, and re-assembled with no issues. We did find a small hole in the lining but it was quite crudely bundled up and shoved in a shed, so I'm not surprised. However, it's near the top and the supplied repair kit has so far done its job. Have noticed a bit of rust on the frame poles. This seems to be where they slot in to each other so I think the protective paint has been scraped off when inserting them and this is where a bit of rust has set in. Doesn't look too bad but only time will tell. I guess you could just treat the effected bits with Hammerite or something but I imagine the liner will go before the frame. Draining is a bit of a pain as the drain hole is not right at the base of the pool so you have a couple of inches of water left in the bottom. Some of this can be enticed down the drain by lifting the pool end up and generating some waves, but will certainly not get rid of all. For that you'll need to bucket out, or, use a pond vac if you have one. It's surprising how heavy even an inch of water is so you can't really take this apart properly until fully empty. For the price we paid, we were happy for it to last one long Summer. To get another is a bonus and to be fair, now we've done it, there's no reason to think it won't do next year at least either. The only thing I would say is drain it, clean it and store it before the weather turns. We didn't and it ended up sitting out in the garden for several weeks in the terrible Autumn weather. This resulted in a quite filthy liner and it took a lot of cleaning. Only downside for me is that I now want a bigger one. With a sand filter. And robo cleaner. And skimmer............

Absolutely incredible little pool!
We’ve had this pool for 3 years now and have used it for 5 months continuously each year. Apart from a little inner surface rust on the frame, it still looks brand new. We use the intex c100 pump with the intex 3kW water heater. You must change the cheap filters every 2-3 weeks and use the water treatment tablets to keep the chlorine in the correct concentration window. Use a sieve to skim the water after every use and use the water dip sticks to check ph/chlorine/alkalinity. It’s really easy after the first summer practice. The water heater needs to dump about 15-20 kW into the water (3700 litres) to get it from about 18c ambient up to 28c. You’ll need to dump 10-15 kW per day into the water to maintain that 25-30c water temps depending on ambient air temp. Also, do buy the proper cover and the expensive bubble wrap water cover - it does keep at least 2c warmer the next day. This is an amazingly robust and easy pool to have endless fun in with the kids or with friends.

Great pool
Been a great pool to use this summer. Easy to put together and quite sturdy. Grateful for not having to worry about constantly pump it up. Definitely make sure your surface is pebble free as anything sharp will easily pierce the pool, but repair kit has worked well and have only had to patch once.

This Pool Is Fantastic!!
Great pool ! Had it for nearly a month now and no problems at all. I brought this for my daughter who absolutely Loves it and enjoys floating on her large doughnut inflatable. All the parts were in the box and the instructions were very straight forward and easy to read and put together, each poll has a letter/number on them that corresponds to the right parts, I would recommend placing all the parts out on the floor first so you can become familiar with them all, I did this and placed them all in the right order so when it come to A going to B I just picked up the right sections. The pool took me and my husband around an hour to put up, it was really quite easy once you got going, I would recommend finding a flat piece of land to start as this is the key when it comes to filling the pool with water. We had placed our pool at first in the middle of the garden so the sun would hit the pool all day and heat the pool up nicely but once we started filling we noticed that towards the end the pools would start to bow adding pressure to the sides, so we had to empty all the water out and place our pool at the bottom of the garden were it was relatively more flat ground. I would also recommend buying a ground sheet as added protection. The one I got was so large I could double it up :) The overall pool is very sturdy and well made. The pool sheet is thick and not flimsy, I would say that for added stability I found that placing the poles that go to the ground over the pole joins that go around the pool very beneficial as it give it that added strength, as I found if you don't it will bow at those points. It didn't take long at all to fill this pool with water I would say around a couple of hours. If you want to heat the pool in a free way I found that by placing black bin bags on the top of the water heats the pool up nicely :) The only negative I would say is that I wish it had a bit better water drainage system as when the water gets to a certain level it wont empty anymore and you will need to do it by hand. Overall so far so good, I am pleased beyond my expectations with this pool, Such a good buy :)

Excellent value for money
I purchased two of these pools to use as a temporary holding pool for our koi whilst we cleaned out our pond and found them to be excellent value for money. We will use them next summer for their intended purpose of swimming if we have another heat wave. They are easy to assemble in under 30 minutes, helped by a well laid out instruction manual. They do say it takes two people, but a practical person could do it alone if it is not breezy. I would recommend leaving the liner indoors until you are ready to unfold it to keep it supple for as long as possible. All the parts appear to be high quality; I only had ours up for a couple of days so cannot vouch for their longevity. I found it straightforward to put back in the box the way it came when putting it away for storage. As others have noted, the drain valve is a few inches up the side which makes draining it completely difficult, but with a pool this size (deep) you are unlikely to be able to put your hand underneath to open the valve if it were on the bottom. I used a pond pump to empty it in 10-15 minutes down the to the last couple of litres which we sponged out. Allow about four hours to fill using normal UK mains (15 litre per minute flow).

Perfect!
Fantastic! The best purchase of the 2024. We had it up last summer for a few months and it’s been up again since may this year. Amazing quality. It was washed and dried before placing it in the storage for winter, and it’s as new when brought back. The size is perfect for the tiny London garden. Definitely recommend!

parfaite!
