Does exactly what it says on the box. It provided almost instant relief from the itching and discomfort and helped clear things up within a few days. Highly recommend if you need something that works quickly.

Purchased for an elderly relative who has said it works exactly as intended.

Great item works amazingly great price

If you have an owwie that is in a sensitive place, these are really good for them, and, not that scent is a 'must' with these things, but, they have a nice smell to them. They are easy to use, and are not too big in size. The only thing I would recommend is to warm up the end you put your finger on and soften it a bit, as where it has had the dip made in to it for your fingertip, it can give you a sharp pinch on its way in! That is the only reason for the 4 star rating and not five, as, the company really should avoid any sharp edges!

After being in pain for a few days I ordered the Germaloid pessary and also the cream, after bathing and trying the pecessary with a tiny amount of the cream to ease the incertion I had a fabulous pain free nights sleep and the nodule had decreased slightly in size and the pain has lessened. Absolute life saver.

Work well, easy to use, size is good. Help a lot.

Great product

This review is based on trying our other haemorrhoid creams and ointments to compare these suppositories to. I have suffered from haemorrhoids on and off over the years, sometimes needing to use strong pain relief and much more sedentary lifestyle than I would like has not helped the condition. But this is the first time that I have used these suppositories over the ointment that I would typically use, I do not like using any of the creams as they are typically more messy and "sloppy" to apply, both externally and internally. Inserting one of these torpedo shaped suppositories is more elegant, if you can achieve any form of elegance bending over with your finger up your bum, over that of using ointment. Even though I have inserted quite a few I'm still a little worried that I'll fire one out if I would fart or un-clench my butt cheeks too early. Thankfully that hasn't happened as yet. It is a very much "cleaner" process of applying the suppository over that of a dollop of ointment on your finger and then pushing that up your bum hole. It also leaves zero greasy stains on your underwear. But and here is the clincher which will probably force me back to using ointment...... With Germoloids Ointment (not cream) you get a lovely cooling experience which makes you feel ever so relieved the moment that you put some up your bum. For those who have tried it they will know what I mean, it feels so soothing. With these suppositories I do not get that sensation at all. I do get the feeling of a small object in my bum for a few minutes after insertion, thus the clenched cheeks and no farting for a while. But without that soothing cooling feeling I will miss using the otherwise messy choice of the Germoloids Ointment. For what it is wroth Boots sell their own as the Germoloids ointment and yet it also does not give that same sensation. Neither does Anusol. Perhaps these suppositories would be effective at treating these hemies but I would miss the lovely sense of immediate relief from using the ointment, the only downside with doing so is the potential of greasy stains and a little less elegance in use, but who cares if you get relief.....!
